**Lockwood** (claim these stars!!!)

We're about to go on a case, but I've finally written that letter for Lockwood, so, no matter what, I will make sure he gets it. I've tucked it in the back of here for now. Wish me luck!

A letter? For me? I turned to the very last page and there I found, folded neatly, a letter. I probably stood there for ages before reading it:

Dear Lockwood,

I've been hiding it for a long time now, but I need to tell you. I haven't been completely honest with you.

Ever since our first case together, I had liked you, however the more time we spend together, the more my feelings grow. It just hurts too much spending everyday seeing you but you don't know how I feel.

So, here it goes. I love you. I am willing to die for you, Lockwood. If anything were to happen to you, I would never forgive myself. I don't want this to ruin our friendship, but I just want know how you feel. And this is stupid because there's no way you could like someone like me. Please don't let this affect anything. I just need you to know.

A tear dropped onto the letter. All that time I had been debating whether to tell her the truth, she had been doing the exact same thing. We had both decided not to say anything, scared it'll ruin the friendship we had created. I sat myself on her floor. Everything I'd ever had was crumbling beneath my feet. The love of my life, gone, before she even knew I felt the same way about her. All I could do was hope that this was all just a horrible nightmare......
