Agan seemed to have a look of confusion upon his face.
"Was what all a dream?", he asked.
"I-I think I had a nightmare, or something, I guess," she replied. "But, it seemed so real." She kept looking around the tent. It looked exactly the same before she had gone to bed. There wasn't any evidence that would suggest that half human snake man had abducted her.
"I dreamt that the Naga King abducted, and forced me to marry.", she said.
"Naga King?", said Agan, as he furrowed his brow, while looking at her. "How many times do I have to tell all of you that there is no such thing? I think between the legends surrounding this area, the snake bite you got last night, your reaction to the anti venom shot, and what John tried to do last night messed with your head. By the way, I want you to know that he will be dealt with. I'm going to recommend that he be expelled from the university. Also I'll support you one hundred percent, if you want to press charges against him with the local authorities."
"Thanks," she replied. "I guess you're right, but it seemed so real." Hailey continued to feel confused. It hadn't seemed like a dream at all. Everything that had occurred, felt like it had actually happened. But how could it have been real? Maybe he was right, maybe the dream manifested itself because of everything that had transpired.
"Well, I have to admit," he said. "You've peaked my peaked my curiosity. What exactly happened in the dream?"
"Well, I wasn't the only one who was abducted.", she explained. "We all were. He ripped out everyone's heart, except your's. I guess his father was a snake god, or something. You were the final sacrifice, and were thrown into a powerful green fire while you were still alive."
"Ouch," said Agan with a playful smile. "None of those deaths sound very pleasant. Why were we sacrificed, and what so special about me?"
"After the Naga forced me to marry him," she began. "He offered the hearts to his father in exchange for granting me immortality. I don't know, something about the heart being the life force."

"Hmm," replied Agan. "I've studied many ancient cultures. There were many that believed that. But why was my demise different that the others?"
"Because that was what the Naga King's father demanded of him." She said. "But it was a trick, because you were the true Naga King. The sacrifices brought you back, not as a human, but as a naga. You basically looked the same, above the waist. Except your fingers were more like claws, and you had four arms."
"Um, okay." He replied with a confused look. "I don't know if I should feel horrified, or flattered. On the one hand I might interpret your dream to mean that you see me as a monster. On the other hand both nagas, and nagins, were known as creatures of great beauty. I would rather like to believe it was the latter. I would never want you to fear me, Hailey. I didn't try and hurt you in your dream, did I."
"No.", she replied, as she soon began to blush. "You killed the other naga, and then tried to force me to marry you. You were going to breed me, to create a new race of nagas. Then you were going to try and take over the world."
Hailey couldn't believe she had just told him that. She wondered what he must have thought of her. She wanted to let him know how she felt about him, but this might not have been the best way. Agan had a shocked look on his face. He was obviously feeling uncomfortable. But he soon began to smile, and let out a hearty laugh.
"What's so funny?" She asked as she chuckled back at him. He looked at her, as he shook his head continuing to smile.
"Oh nothing." He replied. "Just the though of me taking over the world. I can barely run my own life, let alone everyone else's. Well I can assure your was all a dream. We are all alive, and well. And there are no Naga Kings trying to abduct you, including myself. Although, I could understand why."
His face looked serious for a moment, as if he was about to tell her something. But before he had a chance to say anything, a voice was heard coming through the tent.

"Is she alright, Agan?", Eric's voice asked as it could be heard outside the tent.
"She's fine!" Replied Agan. "She just had nightmare!"
"Oh, ok!", Eric yelled. "Just wanted to make sure. The medical transport should be arriving shortly."
"Thanks!" Agan replied. "See, we're all alive. It was just a bad dream." Hailey laughed a little, and smiled. Agan soon smiled back at her.
"Well that's a relief." Said Hailey, she then felt confused. "Medical transport? Why a medical transport?"
"Well," said Agan. "I gave you the anti venom shot, but you should still se a doctor. The tour guides phone for an ambulance, they'll get you to the hospital. If you don't mind, I'd like to go with you. I just want to make sure you're alright."
Hailey began to blush, and gave him a shy smile.
"Thanks," she said. "I would like that very much." He then smile back at her."
"Good." He replied. "Well, I'm going to let you rest. I'll come back when the ambulance arrives." As he stood up to leave, she grabbed his hand.
"Please don't go." She pleaded. He looked at her, and smiled.
"Okay," he said. "If that is what you want. I'll stay with you."
"Thanks." She replied. They were both looking at each other while smiling. Agan's face then looked serious.
"Hailey there's something I have to tell you." He said. "It's something I want to say for a long time, but I was always too afraid. Then, when I was afraid I might have lost you last night, I was worried that I might not ever have a chance. I would have regretted the fact that we might have wasted so much precious time. Hailey, I Love you. I've been in love with you since that day you walked into m class. When we looked into each other's eyes, and you smiled at me, I knew I had met my long lost soulmate. I don't know how you feel about me, and maybe you're about to break my heart. But I have to risk it. I have to tell you the truth. I have to—"
Before he could even finish his sentence, her lips smashed into his. The two of them were locked in a kiss of unbridled passion. She then pulled away, looked at him, and smiled.
"I love you to Agan." She replied as joyful tears began to well up in her eyes. "I knew the same time you did, but I was also afraid of being hurt. I just didn't know how to tell you. I mean you were my professor, so I really didn't know how you would react. Plus there are a lot prettier women on campus, you could have had anyone of them."
Agan had the same joyful teary eyed expression on his face.
"In my eyes Hailey, no one is more beautiful than you." He told her. His facial expression than turned stoic.
"Hailey, could you do me a favor?" He asked.
"Anything.", she replied still feeling elated.
"Tell me how much you love me." He said.
"Oh, I don't know how I could even put it to words.", she said feeling a little overwhelmed by his request.
"Well, let me put it to you this way.", he said. "Would you Hailey Adams, promise to pledge your life, your loyalty, and your love to me?"
"Well, of course." She replied with a slight chuckle, although his words seemed like an odd choice to her.
"Do you promise to be my queen?", he continued. "And to alway rule by my side, and pledge your soul to mine for all eternity?"
"Yes." She replied. "It seems like an odd way to phrase it, but—"
All of a sudden she began to tremble, as she could feel chills running up and down her spine. Her body began to stiffen, as she became paralyzed with fear. It all of a sudden dawned on her that she had just repeated the marriage vows, that the first Naga King had made her say. She looked into Agan's eyes, as a wickedly triumphant smile appeared upon his face.
"Oh my god!"she cried. "What have I done? It wasn't a dream, was it? You tricked me, didn't you? Why?"
Agan still had the triumphant smile upon his face.
"Perhaps not the most elaborate royal wedding," he proclaimed. "But definitely one of the most romantic. Now you are forever my lamia queen!"
