《Forced: Kidnapped by a Vampire Master (Book One)》Chapter 24

l woke up the next morning on something really hard, but strangely, not uncomfortable. One guess as to what it was . . .
"Good morning." I looked up at the man under me and smiled. "You know, your hair looks like a birds nest." I blushed and quickly pulled the covers up over my head in a lame attempt to hide, but just as quickly, they were pulled away again. "Hey, I didn't say it wasn't adorable."
"How did you sleep?" I rolled off him and laid on the bed.
"Okay, you?"
"Slept well thanks."
"Good, so what are your plans for today?" As soon as he said that my stomach dropped. I'm going to have to see Alex today, oh god . . . oh god! He will know! Kane must have realized I spaced out because he poked me. "What's wrong?"
"Alex will know we slept together." He didn't seem bothered. "Aren't you worried!?"
"No, it's none of my brothers business what I do in my personal life." Oh, well I'm glad he doesn't give a fuck. "Nor should you, just relax."
"But-" Before I could finish, Kane was on top of me . . .
Heading into the kitchen, maybe I could keep busy with things to do for the day, and avoid Alex. Kane might have a laid-back approach to this, but I didn't. Luckily, no blonde bitches were in the kitchen at the moment, so I figured if I kept busy in here until they got there, it was time killed.
"Rose . . . " The second I heard her voice, I turned around. "How are you?"
"Fine thanks." Giving her a sweet smile, I turned back to the countertop.
"I haven't seen you since yesterday . . . where have you been?"

"Nowhere."
"Oh, okay, I'll leave you alone." As she opened the door to leave, I sighed and turned around. "Cind, wait."
"Yes?" Opening my arms, I offered a hug.
"I know it wasn't your fault, you didn't ask for Alex to do that." She instantly shook her head and wandered over to me, wrapping her arms around me, and we hugged.
"I'm sorry, I really am." I hugged her tighter. She didn't need to be sorry . . . not really. It really wasn't her fault and at the end of the day, no matter how I felt about him, Alex WASN'T mine. He wasn't my boyfriend, we weren't anything except . . . except Master and slave.
When we broke apart from the hug, we both sat down and started talking.
"So, where did you stay last night?" I looked down at my hands and smiled shyly. Fondly thinking of last nights (and this mornings) events.
"I um . . . kinda spent it with someone." Her face lit up.
"Oooo, who, spill!" I loved Cinders, it was like being back at home with Case. Having a friend to talk to about all these kinds of things.
"Well . . . " I giggled. "Kane." Her face fell and suddenly, that happy, giddy feeling I had was gone.
"You what?!"
"Kane . . . Tavish."
"Are you crazy?!" I didn't understand what the big deal was. " I told you to stay away from him, he's bad news!"
"Cind, he's such a sweet guy, what's the problem?" She stood up, shaking her head.
"Oh my god, you have no idea what you've done!" Panic was starting to set in, why was she acting this way? "Oh . . . god, when Master finds out . . . Rose, you idiot!" I stood up then. Grabbing her, making her stop.

"Cinders, relax, explain!?"
"When Alex finds out what you've done, you're gone!"
"Gone?"
"Anyone . . . no matter who gets taken away. There have been other slaves before you, who have done the same, and after Master Alexander finds out, he sells them."
"He wouldn't sell me . . . would he?"
"Yes, he would!" She sounded so sure . . . but . . . I was different . . . wasn't I? Suddenly, I wasn't so convinced anymore.
"No, surely not . . . I mean . . . I've shared his bed . . . right . . . he wouldn't sell me?" She nodded.
"He would Rose!"
"How do you know??"
"Because he sold Imogene!" . . .
