"I cannot..." Beatrix said and her tears flowed. "I cannot go with you..."

"Why?!! Do you still love him?!! Beatrix, he betrayed you when he let those women enter his harem!!! He is the one who made you like this!!! He does not deserve you!!! Come with me... I will cherish you..." He tried to convince her.

The execution day arrived. Emperor Andrew stands before her. She is kneeling on the ground. He dismissed other servants to talk to her for the last time. She could see that his eyes are bloodshot red and he has deep black circles underneath.

"Why, Beatrix? Why did you become like this? I did everything I could but you chose to ruin yourself and leave me like this!!!" Emperor Andrew asked her miserably.

"You are asking?!! You do not know why?!! " Beatrix sneered in her heart and laughed like a crazy person until her tears flowed like rivers. "I told you I cannot stand you having other women but you still did it!".

"I do not have a choice! I need to remain a crown prince and become emperor! I want to give you everything!"

"This is your everything?!!" She laughed and cried at the same time like a lunatic. "You might be having trouble defining 'everything'. Do you think that being an empress is everything? Do you think that living in the imperial palace and fighting with those women is everything? Do you think that giving lots of treasures, fancy clothes, eating sumptuous meals, attending excessive gatherings, and having all people bow to you is everything? Because if you think that way, you must have a sick way of defining 'everything'!!!"

"Presumptuous!!! Even if I let those women enter my harem, I still have my eyes on you! I gave you my love, my wealth, my power, and my honor! I gave you everything I could! I have other women but I always made sure that they are always lower than you! Do you think that I did not know the evil things you did to those women before? You bullied them but I let you do it! You tortured and killed some of them but I covered the tracks for you!!!"

"You think that is enough?!!" She dared to raise her voice and mocked him. She is going to die anyway. "Do you know how bad I felt when you went to them after you are done with me? Every time you spend your time with them, I feel disgusted when you go back to me!!!"

His face reddened due to rising anger! He held her shoulder and shook her fiercely, "You are a despicable woman! How dare you told me that you are disgusted with me when I only did what was needed to be done for us! I also sacrificed a lot!"

"Yeah! I forgot that you sacrificed your precious body for the empire! I should be thankful and proud instead?" She smirked.

"It appears that I spoiled you too much that you are so arrogant now..."

"You know nothing!" She retorted and pushed away from the emperor whose face is so dark now. "You do not understand what I went through! You do not know what I need to do to survive until today! The fight is between us, the women! It is either I win and I survive or they win and they survive... A pity! I finally lost in the end..." She chuckled and mocked. "I lost everything but everything will end now..." She smiled miserably then collapsed to the ground and coughed up too much blood!

Emperor Andrew was so surprised! His eyes grew wide as he immediately held her in his arms. Panicked could be seen in his eyes. He called for help but Beatrix stopped him.

"It is no use..." She said while gasping for breath.

"This is wrong... Beatrix, hold on!" He said, trembling and calling for guards and physicians.

"You forgot that I am sentenced to die... Death is liberation too!" She said as she coughed up more blood and trembled. "We hurt each other too much... We are not meant to be... Our union is doomed from the start! I dare not marry you in the next life!" She said as she drew her last breath and limped lifelessly in his arms.

The officials, guards, and physicians finally arrived and everyone was surprised to find out that the empress is already dead!

Did she piss the emperor too bad that he made her drink the poison and killed her in advance?

They thought among themselves but Emperor Andrew's next actions surprised them!!!
