"She's a Queen, with little bit of savage."

"You know, you have a game to win." Faye mumbled as she leaned on River, her eyes closed.

They were still on the terrace, sitting on the floor and watching the passing clouds. Yes, school had ended and yes, they skipped all the classes.

"Uh-huh..." He said with a sigh, hands wrapped around her.

"It is in half an hour, we should go." She took his hand from her shoulder and let it fall by his side as she stood up from her position.

"They will win with or without me, your pretty boy will make sure we do." He said, he himself standing up to go with her.

"You don't understand, Justin is not what you think, he is good." A small smile took over her features as she thought about the blonde boy who have been trying to steal her heart since freshman year. "Though he can be pretty handful at times."

"You can just tell him you don't like him back. He will walk away or even I can tell him to do so." He suggested, not understanding why Faye wants to hangout with such a stalker.

"You don't have to do that. It's okay, I like hanging around him."

"Well, that's new."

"Yah, I guess, around him, I just feel like I don't have to be someone better, like he will like me the way I am. You know what others guy think of me, don't you? For the first time, apart from you, Zach and Max, someone likes me for what I am, not cause I am popular, but cause I am me... "

Instantly, a smile mirrored to Faye's grew on his face, "So, you over Kyle?" He asked.

"I don't like Justin idiot, he is like a good friend." She said, smacking his head as they took the stairs.

"I see... the golden girl is still not over my best friend." He said with an eye roll.

"No one calls me that." She said, frowning as they both reached the empty hallway.

"What?" He asked, puzzled.

"The golden girl..."

"Oh, that... well then, from now on, I will call you the golden girl, that suits your whole profile you know, I mean... the popular, straight 'A's, plus the school president... wait, now that I think of that, don't you have a speech to make in the opening of today's ceremony, you were talking about something like that last week..."

And her eyes narrowed by a fraction as she remembered about the welcome speech, "Oh shit, you're such an idiot, you should have told me earlier, damn, what am I gonna do now." She cursed under her breath.

"Then run prinçessa, maybe you will be able to make something up until the football team captain reach the ground." River winked at her, the smirk never leaving his face.

And she ran, she ran with all she had, down the stairs, around the halls, entrance and finally, she reached the gym where the preparations of the match were going to take place.

"There you are. I have been looking for you for hours now, where were you? Are you alright?" Kyle ran to her as soon as Faye stepped into the gym, panting and looking flustered as ever. Her eyes roamed through the gym and relief washed over her as she found the students of the council working.

"Miss president, there you are, I want you to tell us exactly where the bleachers will stand. We have already opened the boxes that you had told us about but we want you to check it out." Her eyes instantly snapped to one of the guys of the student council who was calling her.

"Ky, I will have to go, will meet you at the ground, I guess." She said in an apologetic manner.

"Alright munchkin. Be okay, yah?" He winked at her before walking away.

"Miss president, where should we keep the speakers?"

"Miss president, the mascot costume is not here."

"Miss president, the coach wants to talk to you."

"I can't find the player's reviews."

"The new ball isn't here."

"The mic still has to be adjusted."

And taking a deep breath, she looked up, confidence blending with her features. She's the leader, and she's ready to lead the way.

"We want both the teams to give everything that they have to this game, to today's match, to give your best shots. You, the players are here not only to represent the team, but the whole school. We all are relying upon you, both the teams, 'The Lions' of Lakeview prep and the 'The warriors' of Kingston, I on behalf of the whole council and the football team organisation, wish you the best of luck, make your school proud. And well, remember, the better must win."

Applause and cheers echoed through the whole crowd as she ended her speech. Giving everyone a satisfied nod, she walked out of the platform and went to the bunch of students that were gathered around the backstage, the student council's members.

"I had told you all to tell her. She will never be angry with us, she's not like that." She heard a voice.

"Have you had never heard the rumors Warren, damn, they say that she once made Veronica walk around the hallways naked cause she had accidentally spilled her juice on the head cheerleader's clothes. I mean, it was quite extreme."

"They are rumors and honestly, they can't be true. She can be quite bossy at times but come on, she's the coolest president one can ever have and remember? Only cause of her guidance, our debate team succeeded to make it up to the nationals." A different voice interrupted.

"Kevin is right, maybe she will not be that rough with us..." She heard someone else say.

"What's going on? Aren't you all going to watch the match?" Faye finally decided to interrupt, curiosity visible in her voice.

"Faye, we were just coming to you... actually, there's a issue in here.." And as the guy was proceeding further, a red headed cut him off.

"Let me tell her everything." She glared at the guy and then turned to face Faye, a fake smile plastered in her plum, lipstick coated lips. Anyone can tell by the looks that she is trying to impress Faye with her facade.

"Miss president, firstly let me introduce myself, I am Katherine McAdams, a sophomore. Honestly, I just love the way you pull our uniform, and holy moly, your hair is so beautiful and the color of your eyes, don't even get me started, they are so unique and paralyzing..." And before she could continue further, Faye decided that she had enough of it.

"Shut it out already, and someone, tell me what happened, now." The sudden outburst made everyone back off a little. The girl who had introduced herself as Karolina, Kerrigan or something like that had started to piss Faye by his behavior. The redheaded practically looked like a chipmunk on drugs.

"Spill." She demanded, glaring at those fifteen students who stood in front of her.

And that's when Warren Reynolds, the vice president decided to step in, "Isabella Gray, that black bob one, remember?" He trailed, pointing towards a girl who was standing in the far corner, crying recklessly.

"Well, she lost all the edited contents for the school's newspaper, all the articles, headlines, interviews, projected files and even the catalogs." And Faye's eyes narrowed by a fraction.

"What do you mean she lost it?" She asked, her voice calm and contented.

"Last Thursday, in the council meeting, we had completed editing the each and every article for tomorrow's newspaper. The things that were left were the results of the football match, debate team and lacrosse game. Till then, you had decided that we should give the catalogs to the head editor, who is Isabella... we all had come to the decision that since her brother is the captain of the debate team, it will be perfect if she will have all of this, as she will be able to receive all the information regarding the national debate competition. But today, when I asked her about it, since I needed your final approval before it goes to the printing press tomorrow, she could not find it." The guy ended, anger visible in his face.

Faye herself was fuming. How can someone be so irresponsible, she thought. She wanted to slap the girl and even was considering it when a voice barged in her mind.

Even you had forget about the speech, remember.

But I will never be careless about such an important thing, she reflected back.

There's nothing like small or big responsibility Faye and don't we all commit mistakes?

Faye thought for a while, her conscience was right. With a sigh, she looked towards Isabella, who was sobbing recklessly in the far corner. Her mind processed everything that could possibly be done to solve the situation.

"Call each and everyone present in the council, we are going to have a meeting, I have a rough draft of everything that we had decided to put in the newspaper, the reports, interviews and I think even you all have them. Let us see what we can do with it. Oh, and tell everyone to bring the necessities, even the projector. Secondly, tell Isabella to meet me in the meeting room in the next five minutes after cleaning herself up. Warren, you will come with me, we will have to report the principal about it, he wanted the preview today." All the students nodded and ran to do the works that they were assigned with.

"Faye, what about the match?"

"Someone will have to be here, we need the exact preview after all." A girl pointed out.

"Damn, how can I forget about that."

"Riley and Taylor, you both stay here, analysis everything and report me immediately if something goes out of control. Others, let's go." And all the students followed her to one of the auditoriums where the meeting was going to take place.

"Actually, you know what, call your family and let them know, that you all will stay up late in the school. We have a lot to do." She said, her eyes full of determination.

They were going to do it, and they were going to put everything that they have to complete it in time. She will make sure they do.

"That idiot girl, I am not gonna spare her. Why does she has to take the responsibility if she can't handle it? Just cause of her, we were bound to hear all those profanities." Warren exploded at last as Faye and he walked out of the principal's office, where well, they heard a earful of a well prepared speech on 'Responsibility'.

Sense the sarcasm please.

"Warren, calm down, it's not our fault that our principal is such a moose." She gritted out, pure anger visible in her features. She herself was in a bad mood after hearing the principal's words and may I quote them, he said, 'That's your fault that you thought she will be able to do it. You should have choose someone better. Teenagers these days, can't handle a few things.'

Bloody bastard he is, Faye thought.

"He's such a potato." Warren grumbled under his breath.

"Uh-huh."

"Anyways, Warren we will have to make this work, we have less than 24 hours in hand. The newspapers will have to be published on Wednesday, no matter what."

"I know, shall we send a group to look for the papers by the way, maybe they are in the campus somewhere?" He offered, his eyebrows knitted together as he thought.

"I don't think we have time for that. Right now, we need each and every help that we can get. Sending half of them to search for it will just be a waste of time." Faye said.

"I think you're right. How about if I go and bring some of my mates to help us? One of them is even in the basketball team, I think it will be helpful." He insisted.

"That's perfect. You go ahead, I am coming after you." And nodding at her, the guy ran away.

Faye walked through the hallway, massaging her temples. She was worried about the paper, even if she doesn't show it to others, the golden girl was stressed.
