On earth a few hours ago.

In outer space, Darkseid smiled a sadistic grin as a silhouette of a monster was screaming as it was injected with the genetic enhancements, Doomsday was powerful before but now he would be a monster of unparalleled proportions with Darkseid’s blood flowing through his veins as well, Darkseid spoke and the creature stopped screaming as if it was awaiting it’s master’s orders.

“Tear down any resistance you meet on earth, anything that fights back kill it, destroy major population centers and make sure they all burn.

“One you have completed your mission await for me to come so I may terraform it!” Said Darkseid as Doomsday roared in acceptance as he was fired off Apokolips and headed straight for earth, Metropolis.

“Let’s see you stop this Justice worms.” Said Darkseid as he walked back into his castle. “Now about those monkeys that appeared…”

Back on earth in Metropolis Clark was walking next to Lois. “Come on Clark! I’m hungry.” She complained as he laughed and heard a loud speaker when he looked over he saw a political campaign taking place.

“That’s right, Michael Miller has his campaign today.” He commented as Lois called him again. “Clark!”

“I’m coming.” He relented as she smiled at him.

“Now that you proposed and told me who you are should celebrate!” Her smile was captivating as he kissed her.

She backed up and raised her hand into the air and the diamond ring on her finger gave a sharp glisten.

“I’m glad you’re happy.” He remarked as she turned to him and raised an eyebrow. “Why wouldn’t I be?”

“I’m just saying.” He said as she just rolled her eyes.

Clark stopped smiling and looked up at the sky but she took note of his expression as he held his earpiece.

“Clark, we have an incoming it’s heading straight for your location we have no idea what it is.” Batman said through his earpiece as Lois stopped smiling.

“Is something wrong?” She asked as he grabbed her by the hand and before pulling her into an alleyway.

“Clark?” She questioned as he changed into his Superman outfit and picked her up before dropping her back at the daily planet.

“Something is coming to earth.” He said. “We don’t know what it is but I don’t want you getting hurt.”

She rolled her eyes. “You think I am going to turn tail and run? And if you guys can’t handle it we’re all doomed anyways.” She stated as the sky turned red as a comet came down at breakneck speed, people could be heard screaming as the comet was about to touch down in the middle of the campaign.

“Stay safe!” He said as he took off and tackled the comet forcing it to crash into an empty parking lot while greatly reducing its speed.

“That was close.” He commented as something growled and a arm swung out punching him but it didn’t do much to Clark as he glanced down at his chest where the arm struck him. “So you are a living creature.” He said as Flash ran next to him, Batman, Cyborg, and Wonder woman landed behind Superman as he grabbed the creatures arm and slammed it into the ground while holding it down.

“Any idea where this thing came from?” Superman asked as Batman shook his head.

“No clue.” He answered as Wonder woman approached with her lasso to tie it up but suddenly it grew stronger and knocked Superman’s hand away before repeating the same arm swing at his chest.

Clark watched the creature attack again but unlike before it didn’t harmlessly stop on his chest and instead blew Superman off of his feet and into the side of a building.

Diana brought up her guard at the action and stared at the creature with caution, if it could send Superman flying then it was a threat.

It roared as it attacked her with its claws, she braced herself as the strike was parried by her bracelet creating a shock wave that pushed her back and cracked the ground.

She smirked as she charged at it and punched it in the face stunning the creature before grabbing its head and slamming it into her knee, the creature howled in pain and anger as it leaned back clutching its head in pain before it growled.

But before it could recover she planted her foot firmly into its torso releasing a violent shock wave knocking the wind out of the creature.

She continued her barrage, a ruthless assault continued on the creature as Wonder woman beat the ever loving shit out of it, she was determined to knock it unconscious as shock wave after shock wave shook the ground as she smirked tensed her body and pulled her fist back another round more voracious than before.

The camera crew from the campaign slowly made their way over and saw Wonder Woman bullying the creature, each blow made the air shake as she finished it up by punching it onto it’s back before jumping up into the air and spinning bringing her heel down on the creatures head creating a small shock wave that could be felt across the city.

A shriek was heard as Diana relaxed as Superman returned looking completely unharmed.

He nodded. “Good job.” Diana just took out her lasso again.

Suddenly a copter flew above them as Clark looked up and saw Lois with Jimmy broadcasting, this distracted Diana as well, she didn’t notice the creatures eyes snap open as it pulled its leg back and delivered a brutal blow to her gut that blasted her off her feet and through a car and into a building.

It stood up and roared again before growing in size by a few inches. “Diana!” Flash called out as he looked at the creature angrily.

“You did it now!” He said as he charged at the creature and punched it but to his surprise the punch did absolutely nothing, it glanced at him before swinging it’s arm but Flash dodged it fairly easily and backed up.

Superman took this as his opening and punched at the creature but to his surprise it caught his fist and squeezed his hand and forced the man of steel onto the ground before it kicked towards him which blocked but it forced him back as he stared at his hand.

“What’s wrong?” Batman asked as Superman just shook his head.

“It might be my imagination but this thing is stronger, either it was holding back or it’s getting stronger.” He said as Batman looked at it and threw a Batarang at it, it hit and exploded knocking the creature back.

“We can only know for sure.” He said as he called out to Flash. “Flash! Distract it!” He said as he threw another Batarang and watched it explode but unlike before it had no effect this time.

“You may be right.” Batman said as he looked at Clark. “If we are going to stop this before it becomes a problem we need to hit it hard and make sure it is restrained before it becomes an even bigger problem.” Batman said as Superman nodded just as Diana landed next to him, she was unscathed from the attack.

“I will hit it from the back and you from the front.” Superman said as she nodded and they both took off as Cyborg fired blasts from the distance.

Superman punched the creature in the gut but his arm penetrated the creature surprising him at how fragile the creature was compared to before when he wasn’t trying.

Diana saw this and stopped as she was about to deliver a bone crushing kick to its head but it slumped as Superman looked at it with wide eyes as he pulled his arm out. “Sorry big guy, I didn’t think my arm would go straight through you.” He commented.

As Diana sighed and placed a hand on Superman’s shoulder, he accidentally killed the creature, but suddenly the hole close up and it roared and punched towards Clark who caught the punch but the power behind the blow was far greater than before as it stung.

Clark looked at his hand in surprise as another blow hit him dazing him before it turned and swung a protruding bone on its arm at Clark who just barely moved back in time as it pierced his skin.

Blood dripped from his torso as Lois gasped at the sight. “Unbelievable…Superman is bleeding.” She commented as the creature charged at him far faster than before and punched Clark surprising him as he was forcefully knocked off his feet and into the air just to get kicked through a building.

Diana growled in anger as she charged at the creature but to her surprise it was already in her face as it grabbed her by the hair and slammed her face into its knee before she could realize what happened a bone was in her face about to turn her into a Shish kebab. ‘Oh no, I wasn’t paying attention.’ She cursed herself for her recklessness.

Flash saw this and ran towards her. “Not on my watch!” He said as he grabbed Diana who was staring at the bone in shock but it never hit her as Flash tackled her to the side, they rolled on the ground as she looked at him.

“I owe you Flash.” She acknowledged as he waved it off. “Don’t mention it, we need to take care of this guy.” He said as they got up.

“Power Girl, Supergirl we need your assistance.” Batman spoke into his earpiece. “We can’t take chances Diana almost just died.” He said to the team as he got ready to engage. “Don’t hold back, incapacitate it if possible we can’t take any chances if it just keeps getting stronger!” He said as he flung a batarang at it blinding the creature.

The battle began as Superman returned and started pounding at it, the ground shook violently with each blow as Diana phased in before the creature with her sword and sliced off its arms swiftly making the creature roar in anger as it kicked towards her but she side stepped it and grabbed the leg just as Cyborg dropped from the sky with a photon blade slicing the leg clean off.

The scene was brutal and gory and many watching felt sick watching it and some didn’t like that the Justice league was using lethal force.

However they were quickly shut up by those who understood because Diana almost died to it and plus it just didn’t want to go down after all they were very merciful and gentle with the thing well gentle by their standards.

Flash ran in at full speed and tackled it to the ground as Diana jumped into the air and stuck her sword into its chest as the creature roared in pain.

Superman flew up at high speed before eagle diving down breaking the sound barrier as the league moved out of the way as he landed on the sword driving it in deeper creating a massive crater.

There was silence as no one said anything, they just waited to see if it would move again when nothing happened Diana quickly moved in with her lasso to restrain the creature but as she got close she was met with an arm that struck her torso making her throw up blood as she was flung high into the air just for it to jump up and follow her but before it could land a blow on her she recovered and turned and met the creature head on, the force of their fists colliding made a massive shock wave that shattered all the windows in the area and knocked the helicopter back as it spun before it regained control of itself.

Diana and the creature fought. “Impressive creature! Our battle will be legendary!” She said as she ducked under its claw and elbowed it in the gut and before flinging it into Superman who clotheslined the creature into Cyborg who had been charging a sonic blast at full power.

The creatures top half was completely blown off as guts and blood splattered everywhere causing gasps to breakout and eyes to be covered all around the world as parents shielded their younger children from the gruesome sight however many of those kids were so enthralled with the fight, it was like an action film.

The creature stopped moving before dropping back as Cyborg panted at the sight before dropping back. “Watch out Cyborg!” Batman called out as he noticed the creatures arm swing right at him, unfortunately no one noticed on time as the arm pierced right through him before ripping him in half.

The heroes screamed in horror as their comrade was torn apart before their eyes.

The creature regenerated and grabbed Cyborg’s top half before flinging it at Superman who caught Cyborg who was coughing up blood. “You alright?” Superman asked Cyborg who just nodded slowly.

“Better me than any of you…I can survive like this.” He said as he passed out, Superman’s jaw clenched as they all looked at the creature who roared as it healed and grew again in size by a few inches.

Superman landed and placed Cyborg on the ground and walked next to Wonder Woman, Flash and Batman as Power Girl and Supergirl arrived.

“Ladies and gentlemen…it looks like we lost Cyborg…” She said as she covered her mouth in shock but Superman turned to her and gave her a thumbs up. “Oh Superman is saying he is fine.” She interpreted as he nodded and looked back at the creature.

“Whatever this creature is it might be divine retribution.” She said as she thought back to the day humanity spat in a gods face. “We can only hope the Justice will prevail but it looks like the gloves are off.” She said. “One can only describe this day as Doomsday…yes this, this is Doomsday.” She said.

“But back up has arrived! The creature is about to face the full force of the Justice League .” She said full of hope and pride as she watched the scene. “Good vs Evil…and we all know good will always prevail!” Not even realizing she had called the creatures name as it looked at her angrily before jumping towards the helicopter.

“Get it out of the city!” Batman commanded taking note of its aggression towards the helicopter, it would be a nightmare if someone came to look at the fight up close like the news crew at least they knew to remain at a somewhat safe distance.

Before it got close Superman grabbed its leg and swung it into the ground before flinging it into the sky in the opposite direction. “Oh no you don’t.” He said as Supergirl grabbed Batman and they took off after Doomsday.

When they arrived Doomsday roared at them and charged at them but Power Girl scoffed. “Don’t get ahead of yourself!” She yelled as she engaged the creature and landed a brutal blow that lifted Doomsday off his feet and into Supergirl who unleashed a thick stream of heat vision that burned right through Doomsday.

Diana came from above and drop kicked it into Clark who punched it in the face ripping its head clean off its body before Power Girl inhaled and blew ice cold air at it freezing Doomsday completely.

The sound of a helicopter could be heard approaching as Karen rolled her eyes. “Reporters really do like playing with their lives huh?” She said as Clark landed and stared at the frozen Doomsday.

“Good job guys, that should do it.” He said as he also looked at the head before freezing it.

“Everyone good?” Flash asked as they all nodded. “I can’t believe this thing needed all of us.”

As Power Girl just shrugged. “Doesn’t matter, better we all take it out before it becomes too strong.” She said as Batman nodded.

“That’s exactly why I called Power Girl and Supergirl.” He said as he stared at the ice just as Clark, Karen and Kara both looked at the ice in shock.

“You can’t be serious!” Supergirl said as the ice cracked before breaking as Doomsday regenerated again.

His body steamed and grew again by a few inches as it smirked at them before roaring and charging right towards them again just for it to catch Superman by surprise and clothesline him.

Flash moved and grabbed Superman from Doomsdays clutches and pulled him away just as Doomsday slammed his arm into the ground creating a crater.

Doomsday growled as it stared at them. It charged at them again, the battle raged on for another thirty minutes as the league kept defeating Darkseid just for it to regenerate completely and come back stronger.

“None of our attacks are hurting it anymore.” Flash pointed out as he panted.

Diana was currently squaring off against it just for her to take an arm to the face that knocked her tiara off of her head as blood poured from her nose and mouth just as she was flung away into Supergirl who caught her.

Power Girl and Superman along with Flash attacked at this point Superman’s cape was torn off as he was grabbed and swung into Power Girl who blocked it but Clark took the brunt of the damage as Power Girl slammed her arm down on Doomsdays arm and forced him to drop Superman just for another hand to come and grab her by the neck and squeeze.

She struggled as she pried the hand off as she started choking and kicked Doomsday in the gut making distance between them as she grabbed Clark.

She dropped to her knee and gasped for air as she wiped the sweat from her brow. ‘Blood.’ She noticed she was now finally bleeding.

But she never got a chance to rest as Doomsday was on her again and grabbed her by the head this time, he flung her at Supergirl who was charging in, the two collided mid air before crashing just for Doomsday to jump and land on them both causing excruciating pain.

Diana stood and looked at Batman who was holding his chest in pain. “I hate doing this but I am going to remove my bracelets Batman.” She said as she took her lasso and passed it to Batman. “Use this to snap me out of it.” She informed as she looked at Superman. “We have one shot, if he gets used to our full strength we lose, hold nothing back!“ As Clark nodded and Flash sped in and grabbed Supergirl and Power Girl right from underneath Doomsday, they both groaned in pain.

“Beast!” She yelled as it looked at her.

Superman slowly stood and inhaled before he walked next to Diana. “Let’s do this.” He said as she removed her bracelets and watched them fall to the ground, a surge of power erupted as her eyes glowed white as she growled and a giant white aura burst to life rocking the environment and shaking the ground as she screamed.

The ground beneath her shattered as she charged forward, Doomsday was completely taken by surprise as she was immediately in front of him her face seething with rage as she grabbed his head and slammed him into the ground creating a crater the size of the grand canyon as she flung him upward into Superman who stopped holding back entirely as he slammed his fist through Doomsday who howled in pain as he grabbed Doomsday and ripped his body apart.

Diana appeared just as Doomsday started healing and slammed her fist through his head completely blowing his head into pieces as she grabbed his torso and flew high into the sky and into outer space towards the sun as Superman followed behind with Doomsday’s lower half.

They approached the sun and she flung him forward and kicked Doomsday extremely hard towards the sun.

Superman didn’t bother he just pulled his arm back and flung the body into the star with his full strength.

Diana growled in anger as she glared at Superman next who noticed her before she could attack him he retreated to earth and grabbed the lasso from Batman just in time as she returned and punched at Superman who barely dodged the blow that struck the ground creating a earthquake that was felt throughout the planet.

But before anymore could happen he placed the lasso around her and yelled. “Diana! Wake up!” He screamed as she clutched her head in pain just as she lowered her guard Flash zipped up behind her with the bracelets and placed them on her.

She dropped to her knees panting as she relaxed and smiled at Flash who just gave her a thumbs up while panting, although she caught her breath fairly fast as her stamina returned.

“Good job team.” Batman said as they made their way over, they were battered and bruised, but not beaten.

Diana got up and wiped the dry blood from her forehead and stretched. “Nothing like an old fashion battle with our lives on the line.” She remarked as Superman just chuckled.

“Only you would say that after this fight Diana.” He said as she smiled.

The short intermission didn’t last long as a explosion sounded off in the distance.

“Batman!” Cyborgs voice spoke in weakly from the other end. “We have…a problem.” He said as Batman’s eyes narrowed as Flash held his earpiece.

“What now!?” Flash whined.

“Boom tube, hundreds of them opened all round the world, I am picking up some signal, it’s the thing we were tracking a few months ago.” Cyborb said grimly. “I think this creature Doomsday was just the beginning.” He said as the league watched as another explosion went off and demon-like creatures came through.

“We have work to do.” Batman commented as Supergirl grabbed him and they all took off back towards Metropolis but Superman stayed back and flew to the helicopter and spoke to the camera.

“To those at home, do not leave your homes unless instructed by your local authorities the situation is not over, stay safe.” He said as he took off back to Metropolis.

“It seems it isn’t over yet, we can only place our hopes in the Justice League but the beast Doomsday seems to finally be defeated.” She said as the helicopter took off back to Metropolis. “We just have to stay safe long enough until the Justice League can get rid of whatever is happening back in Metropolis.” As she held her earpiece.

“I have just gotten news that it is in fact not just Metropolis, the entire world is under attack.” She said in horror. “Demon-like creatures have spawned through some sort of portal like structure, stay save ladies and gentlemen.”

When the Justice League arrived they saw civilians being chased by what looked like demon creatures, they quickly saved who they could. “Flash, run through the city and save anyone you see is in trouble we will figure out how to stop this.” He said as Flash nodded and zipped through the city as Batman knelt next to Cyborg who was almost done piecing himself back together again.

“We need you Cyborg.” Batman urged as he watched the machine man heal. “I need one of the mother boxes.” He explained weakly as Batman looked at Supergirl and Power Girl.

“Let’s head to a portal, Cyborg might be able to figure it out how to stop this if we can find one.” He said as they nodded and grabbed Batman and Cyborg.

When they finally found a portal and hooked Cyborg up to one he was able to shut it down after ten minutes of hard fighting, however this drained him considerably more as he was already extremely tired.

“This is a problem, we will never stop this…whatever this is, if we struggle to close even one portal how will we close them all.” Power Girl said as she landed just as she crushed a parademon.

Batman nodded. “If that’s the case we need to get to the root of the cause.” He said as Cyborg started howling in pain.

“He is coming!” He said as he was almost overloaded by the information from the mother box.

“Who is coming?” Batman asked.

“Darkseid…” Cyborg let out as he passed out.

Just as laughter filled the area. “Seems like my pet was too much for you weaklings, you can barely stand!” They all looked around as Superman landed next to them and stared at the sky, they all followed suit and saw a mountain of a man.

“I take it he is Darkseid.” Power Girl spat as she glared at him.

“Correct fodder, bow down and worship the new god!” He said as he landed in front of them.

Diana just smirked. “We’ll see about that beast.” As she charged at him and struck him but he didn’t even move an inch, she stared at him surprised and jumped back.

“Impressive, however lets see you take this.” She said as she charged forward again and punched as hard as she could knocking Darkseid back as he growled and swung his arm knocking her away as Superman, Supergirl and Power Girl joined in.

The battle was brutal as they went back and forth, Superman decked Darkseid across the face and forced the new god into the sky towards Supergirl and Power Girl who drop kicked him into Diana who then sliced at Darkseid who just blocked it with his forearm.

“You worms are nothing compared to me!” He said as he spartan kicked Diana into Superman and turned and used his omega beams on Power Girl but Supergirl intercepted it and screamed in agony as she dropped to the ground unconscious.

“No! Supergirl!” Karen screamed as she charged at Darkseid who smirked at her as he leaped towards her meeting her halfway.

They clashed but Karen was still tired from the fight with Doomsday not to mention still very much hurt, Darkseid grabbed Karen by the face and slammed her into the ground before lifting his foot and stepping on her head leaving her unconscious on the ground as well.

Clark got up and looked at Diana as she coughed up blood. “You okay?” He asked as she nodded.

“I needed to get that out or else it would impair my movement.” She stated as she stood upright. “Luckily he does not have the same regenerative abilities, I would consider removing my bracelet but if we just barely defeat him I might be the next problem.” She pointed out as Clark nodded.

“That means we just have to hit him fast and hard, once he goes down the day will be saved, it’s too much a risk having you remove your bracelets again.” As Diana nodded.

“Let us defeat this beast for all the misery he has brought to our home!” Diana declared her battle spirit still strong.

Superman nodded as they rushed Darkseid again, Diana raised her sword and and swung her blade at Darkseid who deflected the attack with his forearm before grabbing the blade from her hand and snapping it just in time to turn and stab Superman who appeared above him.

“You two have gotten slower.” He commented with a smirk.

Clark looked down in shock as Diana’s eyes widened as she growled in anger. “You will pay for that.” She declared as she was about to remove her bracelets but Darkseid smirked and pulled her closer before grabbing her hands and grunting as he used a lot more of his strength as he crushed her hands within his.

The sickening sound of bones grinding and snapping could be heard as she screamed in pain as Darkseid grabbed her by the head and swung her into Superman who was trying to stop the blood from pouring out of his chest, Superman was knocked away as Darkseid gave Diana his darkest grin.

“The next few moments will be the last moments you remember.” As he lifted his foot and crushed Diana’s knee cap breaking her leg off as she screamed in agony he smashed his forehead into her face breaking her jaw and crushing her nose. “You seem to be the spirit of the justice worms, let them watch as I break you.” He grabbed her left arm and ripped it out of its socket before dropping her onto the ground and stepping on her chest crushing her torso just enough to leave her alive and writhing in pain.

He turned and walked over to Superman with a dark look on his face ready to dish out the same punishment as he sped over to Batman before smacking him to the side practically leaving him on deaths door just to grab the lasso and make his way over to Superman who used his heat vision to cauterize his wound as tears came down his face at he sight of Diana’s broken body with silent whimpers escaping from her, Bruce’s heartbeat was barely audible as well.

He stood up and charged at Darkseid with his last strength as a final stand but was grabbed out of the air by a laughing Darkseid who punched his face repeatedly until the man of steel went limp, Darkseid scoffed and chugged the man of steel onto the ground.

“You all will make perfect parademons.” He stated.

The Justice League laid on the ground, defeated by the new god Darkseid as he smirked and looked at the helicopter broadcasting. “Your Justice vermin have fallen, and so earth now belongs to me!” He grinned as he laughed as more portals opened up and more parademons escaped through.

“You can all wait for your deaths patiently.” He mocked as Flash ran behind him and punched him in the back with the last of his strength as Darkseid turned around and stared at him. “Let’s do something about that running of yours speedster.” He said as he kicked Barry’s knee inward snapping his leg in half as Barry screamed before Darkseid wrapped his hand around his torso and started squeezing.

Barry screamed in pain as his eyes started turning red and blood started falling out of his eyes and ears.

Lois covered her eyes as she started to cry. “We have to get out of here! Leave fly away we have to try and escape.” She said desperately told the pilot as Jimmy dropped the camera in fear as he stared at the scene with a blue face.

All that could be heard was Darkseid laughing and Barry screaming just as a bright flash of light appeared from the sky and landed on the ground.

This caught Darkseid’s attention as he looked at the newcomers, Lois was begging the pilot to move as the man seemed to be scared beyond belief, nothing was getting through to him, until Jimmy saw new people on the battlefield.

Soon Lois also noticed as she looked down at the scene, she quickly realized who that was, I mean who wouldn’t he had statues everywhere hell a city was named after him.

“It’s him, it’s the god from before!” She yelled in relief as Barry was thrown to the wayside. “Please!” She screamed at the top of her lungs. “SAVE US!” As tears streamed from her eyes.

Gohan looked at the carnage, the city looked like it was in flames, luckily the lower tier heroes were keeping most of the civilians safe from the parademons.

He looked up at the helicopter and saw a mortal woman screaming at him, he moved and appeared before her, coincidentally his face was in front of the camera that was laying on the floor of the helicopter.

“I am sorry you all had to go through this.” Gohan said to her as she nodded eagerly. “This is not the will of the gods I can assure you that, as such I have come to rectify the situation.” He said as he picked up the camera and handed it to Jimmy.

“Don’t look so worried, this bully won’t have his way with one of my worlds.” He said as he looked down at the Justice League but when he saw the state of everyone his anger soared to new heights never before seen as he appeared next to Diana’s fallen form.

“DIANA!” He screamed as he called out to Vermont.

“Vermont heal them! Quickly!” He said as the Angel nodded.

“As you wish my lord.” He stated as his staff appeared he waved it and everyone who was on the brink of death was healed as if they had not been brutally defeated.

Diana opened her eyes and saw Gohan looking down at her, she could tell he was distraught. “Gohan…” She said as she realized she was no longer feeling excruciating pain radiating through every fiber of her body.

She sat up slowly surprised as Gohan looked at her with relief all over his face. “I made it on time.” Gohan said to himself as he trembled with fury never seen before as the world started to violently shake but Diana placed her hand on his cheek.

“Calm down…you’re hurting the planet.” She reminded him as it seemed to snap him out of his rage, the violent shaking stopped as he nodded and tried his best to remain calm and rational.

Darkseid watched this with interest. “I see more fodder has arrived.” He smirked. “It doesn’t matter who comes or how many times you get healed the outcome will always be the same, consider this a second beating.” Darkseid stated.

Gohan chuckled darkly as Flash appeared next to him, he looked relieved to see Gohan. “Gohan! Thank god you’re here, we could really use a hand.” He said as Gohan smiled at him and patted him on the back gently.

“Glad to see I made it on time my friend.” As Barry just nodded and Zatanna appeared next to Batman.

“I looked for way to send Darkseid back but nothing, unless we can somehow send him back through the portal there is nothing I can do with magic, Dr Fate has deemed earth doomed because of Darkseid.” She said as she looked at Gohan who was staring at her until she realized she must have missed something big.

“Oh Gohan…when did you arrive?” She asked as he appeared next to her surprising her, even Flash was taken by surprise.

‘Woah that was really really fast…’ He thought to himself.

“No need to worry, you all can just relax and enjoy the show, Darkseid here is no longer a problem you have to worry about, his agenda upsets the balance of creation so it is my duty to remove him.” He said as he looked to Darkseid who just smirked at him. “Even if it does so forcibly.”

“You will need help, Darkseid is too strong.” Diana said as she made her way over to Gohan, Zatanna and Batman with Flash but Gohan just smiled at her.

“You all did well in stalling him, I believe some mindless beast was here as well and it weakened you all considerably before Darkseid arrived, if you were all fresh like you are now than yeah, you guys can force him off of earth but I think you guys have done enough…suffered enough, plus it’s my returning debut even if I am not welcomed on earth I cannot sit by and watch a world not ready for destruction be destroyed.” He stated as he turned and walked to Darkseid.

“The duty of destruction falls on me.” He stated as Darkseid towered over him.

“So foolish mortal, you wish to fight with the new god Darkseid?” Darkseid asked as Gohan smirked as a vein appeared on his head as he floated to eye level and raised his hand in front of Darkseid’s face.

“You know very few people have managed to make me this mad and even then the amount of rage I am feeling is second to nothing I have ever experienced before in my entire life, I am struggling to stop myself from just destroying you this instant, but no, I think you need a lesson in humility your types need to be humble.” Gohan stated as he flicked Darkseids forehead creating an intense shock wave that launched the new god into orbit and through the moon shattering it. ‘No matter what you do Darkseid, you will suffer before you die.’

Everyone was just stunned at the sight as the moon started to just break before completely falling apart. “Don’t stress I know how important the moon is to this worlds survival, I will have Vermont replace it later.” He said as the league came to him surprised.

“Wow…were you always this strong?” Flash asked as Gohan just placed a hand behind his head sheepishly and chuckled.

“Well things happened and I was-” But before he could finish Darkseid returned and he was fuming with anger as his eyes glowed red.

Omega beams approached Gohan who was standing with the Justice League as he held out his palm and blocked the beams as Darkseid looked on shocked as Gohan just looked at his palm and looked somewhat impressed. “Wow you managed to make a few scratches, that’s amazing.”

“No one has ever survived those beams! Who are you!” He yelled.

“I am your God of Destruction, I don’t play god like you Darkseid I am one. You’re nothing but a pretender, like a child whining into the void about your pitiful strength so what? You’re a little stronger than the average mortal what gives you the right the desecrate the name of the gods!?” Gohan asked as he looked around.

“You bring destruction to a world that is not scheduled for destruction, it has millions if not billions of years to exist before it becomes a barren wasteland that needs to be removed, what gives you the right to come here and burn it and its people to the ground?” Gohan asked stunning Darkseid who suddenly felt his blood pressure shoot through the roof, was he being patronized by this nobody?

NO! He charged at Gohan but before he could even realize it Gohan was in front of him as he grabbed Darkseid by the neck and forced his face into the ground.

“I assume this is what you would have done to the mortals on earth had you had your way?” Gohan said as he put his foot on Darkseid’s neck, the new god screamed in anger as he tried to stand up but Gohan’s foot was like an immovable object.

“Now normally I would just destroy you but your very existence is a stain, you treat living beings as if they are play things for your amusement, like this is your backyard.” Gohan said as he lifted his leg and let Darkseid back up and kicked him in the mouth knocking the new god on his arse as blood flew out of his nose and mouth as some of his teeth was kicked out of his mouth as well further humiliating the new god. “No, this is my backyard I choose who lives and who dies and let me tell you the odds are not in your favor.”

The league was just stunned into silence as Gohan turned Darkseid into childs play, Darkseid threw punch after punch as Gohan just blocked each blow casually. “If I wasn’t stopping the shock waves you would have destroyed this world with your sloppy punches, now I could be a savage like you and rip your arms and legs off and pull your spleen out of your body but I will never stoop to your level because as a real god I would never be barbaric.” Gohan said as he walked up to Darkseid and stepped on his leg crushing it. “But I do owe you for hurting my friends.” As Darkseid bit his tongue to stop himself from screaming, he would never give this impostor the satisfaction, Gohan took note of this and nodded.

“Alright this is enough.”

As he glowed purple and stuck his hand out in front of Darkseids face. “Prepare to stop existing for all of eternity, this will eradicate your soul permanently, I want to show you a special power that only Destroyer Gods can use.” Almost as the world seemingly turned purple, a purple orb of destruction appeared in his hand.

“Haka-” Before he could go through with it Diana appeared behind him as the rest of the league followed.

“Stop! Don’t kill him!” She said as Gohan turned and looked at her, Darkseid was about to fly back but Gohan grabbed him by the neck as he tried to escape and forced him onto his knees.

“He will stand trial like all those who wish to harm others out of enjoyment.” She said as Gohan glanced back at Darkseid who spat in his face but luckily his aura destroyed the saliva before it made contact.

“But he hurt you…he tortured you all and left you to die a slow death.” Gohan responded as he glared at Darkseid.

Superman saw that and feared the worst. “Listen Lord Gohan please, we aren’t above the law what he did was wrong but thanks to you we are fine now.”

“You seem to be mistaken Superman, YOU aren’t above the law…and he committed a cardinal sin, he spat in the face of a Destroyer if I let this slide how would I be allowed to call myself a God of Destruction, if I was just a few minutes late you all would be dead.” Gohan said as deep sadness reflected in his eyes. “I never want to lose those I know because of some maniac on a power trip, plus I have a goal to accomplish.” He needed to remain a destroyer so that he could travel to the sister multiverse in the future.

“In fact he has been alive far longer than any single being should be, with his actions I was bound to cross paths with him eventually.”

Darkseid stared at the purple orb of power and he could feel the sheer power radiating off of the orb, if he was hit with that it would mean the end of his life.

Diana slowly walked towards Gohan who seemed to be in conflict with himself. “Listen.” She started gently. “I understand that you need to deal with him but he can do nothing against you rather let him reflect on his wrong doings, if you need to just beat him within an inch of his life but do not kill him would it not be better if he lived with the shame of having been so thoroughly humiliated and shackled like the animal he is.” She said as Gohan looked to Vermont who just shrugged.

“The choice is yours my lord, your word is law as the currently God of Destruction.” He said as Gohan let go of Darkseid as he rushed back.

“You will pay for this! You will all pay for this! Especially you! You called yourself a God of Destruction? One day I will destroy you!” He declared as a portal opened behind him but Gohan instantly appeared next to him before he could escape and punched him in the gut making him vomit blood before dropping to his knees and passing out.

“Thank you…” She said as Gohan sighed and nodded before smiling at them. “Which reminds me, you have a parasite problem.” He said as he closed his eyes before a deep purple aura surrounded him.

“Hakai!” He declared as parademons all around the world started disintegrating. “I destroyed all those weird demon things around the world.” He stated stunning them.

“And if he ever shows up again I guess I’ll just have to defeat him again.” Gohan stated as Diana made her way over to Darkseid and tied him up.

“Is there a prison that you guys have that can contain him?” Gohan asked as Batman spoke.

“Yes, one of our members Green Lantern has been on an away mission for the past six months, he should be returning very soon due to the distress signal I sent out not too long ago, there is a super prison designed for beings like Darkseid on OA.” Batman stated as Gohan nodded.

The helicopter landed as Lois ran over as she fixed her outfit and make up and walked up to the group. “Who are you exactly?” She asked as Clark looked at her like she was crazy but Gohan just laughed at the scene.

“Oh it’s fine, I will be leaving soon I do not want to upset your world leaders by remaining on planet earth.” Gohan said as Vermont walked next to him.

“Shall we go my lord? I can only imagine how hungry you must be from all this running around.” As Gohan’s stomach rumbled as he chuckled somewhat embarrassed.

“Before that could you repair the moon and fix the earths rotation that was disrupted during the battle as Vermont nodded as his staff appeared in his hand and the moon reappeared in the sky. “Done.” He said.

“Great let’s leave I am famished.” He said as Batman stopped him.

“Hold on, since you last left a lot has changed, a special law was passed if you were to ever return you would be treated as a VVIP.” As Diana nodded eagerly.

“Indeed! Let us throw a feast for you it is only fitting! We would all like to apologize on behalf of humanity for the previous blunder that was made, you will always be welcomed here on planet earth.” She said the Justice League nodded and smiled as Superman walked up to Gohan and held out his hand.

“You’re a lot more benevolent than I expected as someone called a God of Destruction.” As Gohan just chuckled.

He was also happy to hear that now he would be able to eat earths delicious food as he shook Superman’s hand.

Cheering could be heard as more and more civilians filled the area many were taking pictures but Gohan turned to Lois. “As for you question, just know as long as I am the God of Destruction this universe will thrive.” He stated as the cheering became even more deafening.

“However, I forbid any sort of worshiping to be done it is not what I stand for and it is not who I am, so no religions are authorized and I recognize none who attempt to use my name for glory, fame, riches, power and influence unless of course I declare it to you all as I have done now anyone saying they were chosen by me is lying.” Gohan stated as the crowd got quieter at the statement.

“But you’re a god…wouldn’t you want followers? I mean regardless I assume there will be those who worship you.” Lois said as Gohan nodded understandingly.

“True I will not persecute those but I will be sorely disappointed if I hear of it, just because I am a deity does not mean that I want followers I do my duty as a destroyer simply because the strong should not suppress the weak and balance in creation is essential to life and if balance were to cease the universe would become a dark and cold place and the mortal level would plummet, the consequences of that is not something any mortal civilization should experience, it would bring shame on those who rule the cosmos, those who wish to admire me are allowed but no worshiping, think of me as a celebrity, that is the most I can do for you.” He stated as he looked at the league.

“Let’s leave, I think I answered enough questions.” He said as they nodded and flew off leaving Lois and Jimmy behind as they flew to a secluded area Gohan reflected on his words, he didn’t want people to worship him simply because he was once a human himself if he let that go to his head he may lose who he is in the process and he didn’t want that, he wanted to return and see his family and friends as Gohan not Lord Gohan - God of Destruction who has trillions of people worshiping him.

Unknowingly this single act made even more people adore him and even moved the Justice League as well.
