What do you want?
What do you mean?
You're staring at me.
Oh.
Well can you stop? It's causing me to feel sick.
I couldn't even respond I was so pissed off. I turned my phone off and sat quietly, waiting for Monokuma to choose his next victim in this game.
He tapped his foot cunningly and began to walk closer to someone. He held the bag out to the young heir. "You're turn, bossy britches!" Byakuya just rolled his eyes and reached into the bag. "Let's just get this over with."
He pulled a paper out and unfolded it fast. As he read it, a light pink dusted his cheeks. "Y/N let's go." "Eh?" I looked up to see an impatient Byakuya making his way to the closet.
Just as I was standing my phone vibrated.
Hurry up. I don't have all day and God only know how badly I want to get this over with.
I ran to catch up, only to have my head be met with the hard door. I let out a sigh and opened the door.
Monokuma locked the door behind me and our 7 minutes of hell had started. I went over to Byakuya to sit when my phone buzzed once more.
Don't sit by me.
If I wasn't mad before, I was now. I responded hastily.
Why not? And why are you texting me when I'm right next you to?
I refuse to associate with anyone who isn't as high on the financial level as me. You do not even come close to it.
I shut my phone off. I didn't even want to text him back. I walked up and stood in front of him. He looked displeased and I ate it up.
"You don't have the right to tell me what I can and can't do. Last time I checked you weren't my parent, and if you were, well, how unfortunate for me." I said this with a stern face but it only made him flustered and agitated with me quicker.

"Move out of my way, plebeian." He said pushing me slightly, almost as if he was embarrassed to even breathe the same air as me. I only stool my ground firmer. "No."
"It would be a shame for an exquisitely pretty girl like you to be shoved out of the way." My eyes widened and I relaxed my guard out of weakness. "Did he just call me pretty?" I couldn't put my finger on it... that was until he had processed what he said and started to turn red.
I decided to milk it.
"Aw does the esteemed Heir Byukuya Togami have a crush on a plebeian like the Utlimate ____ Y/N L/N?"
He pushed me onto the ground. Hard. "Now I warned you." He looked down at me while wiping his shoulders off like I was dirt. I released my tsunami of anger that I was holding back.
"DON'T YOU DARE TALK DOWN TO ME JUST BECAUSE YOU ARE RICH. WE ARE THE SAME AGE. YOU ARE NOT MY DAMN PARENT." As I finished my last line, I felt tears of frustration prick my eyes. His, on the other hand, widened and looked down at his phone again.
My phone vibrated again, signaling me that I had a message. I took it out of my pocket and glanced downwards.
I am sorry. I did not mean to hurt your feelings.
This wasn't like him but I didn't care at the moment, I was too mad to even consider it.
Can't say it aloud? Too scared that the others will hear that you have a heart?
Not that. I'd rather not say.
Whatever.
Can you drop the tsundere act? It's quite annoying.
No.
Stop now. I asked politely.
You think that was polite?
It was at least sincere.

How the hell was that sincere? You insulted me? You have a lot to learn.
I know how to be sincere.
I'll believe it when I see it.
Just as I turned my phone off, I felt two hands placed beside my head, holding it in place. I turned only to be met my Byukuya's lips pressed softly on mine.
After what felt like years, he pulled away. "I love you, Y/N. That was sincere I promise you." I blushed softly.
Byukuya readjusted his frames and walked towards the door. "Just don't tell the others." He turned back to face me and I nodded twice.
"Monokuma, it's been 7 minutes. Let me out." "You're right, tight ass. Alright alright." He unlocked the door, casting light through the dark room.
We both walked out and just sat down where we were first. Monokuma just continued with his game.
"ALRIGHT! WHO'S NEXT?!"

Dungeon Core? Nah, I Think I'll Just Get Super-Wealthy Instead
The cycle is simple enough. A Dungeon Core is born from a wayward soul. It seeks power and agency, and works to accumulate wealth to fuel its power, in turn using this power to accumulate further wealth. Inevitably, the mind is lost as desperation and ambition drive it to commit darker and darker acts. Shortly thereafter, the adventurers arrive to quell the core. This is a tale that has repeated itself countless times throughout history: all cores desire power. And yet, this core seems to have it backwards. It doesn't want to rule the world. It has no desire to enslave or conquer. No, this core doesn't want to be a warlord, a villain, or a tyrant. It wants to start a core-poration. After all, when money is power, what greater weapon is there than capitalism? Join a dungeon core that wastes an absurd amount of time and effort trying not to be evil on his journey to earn fat stacks against all odds. -This is a 'Dungeon Core' type fiction with LitRPG elements in it. The start may be fairly slow compared to the average. Expect roughly 2.5k per chapter. -I'm only a hobbyist writer. As such, there may be the occasional error and pacing may be poorly-handled.
