《7 Minutes in Dangan Heaven (discontinued)》Introduction (Monokuma's Game)

Everyone gathered in the Gym worried to hear the new motive from that desbearing stuffed toy. Monokuma had told us that he had a new motive and it was going to be a good one that everyone would love. The announcement was played at 9 AM: breakfast. As it played everyone including you froze. Everyone found this hard to believe. You were silent but so many thoughts rushed through your head. "How can we love a reason to kill each other?" Instead of questioning the announcement, you and everyone else got up from the table and came together as a group and hoped for the worse.
"Helllllllooooooo Hopes Peak students! I hope you're having a wonderful blessed morning! It is a simply stunning Spring day! I mean how can you-" Monokuma was interrupted by Togami. "Alright you two toned pest why are we all here? You interrupted the drinking of tea that belongs to the esteemed mouth of Byakuya Togami." "Alright you little brats. We're going to play a DESPAIRINGLY FUN game! It's called 7 Minutes in Heaven. This is the stuff kids your age play at parties and stuff so you should know how to play already so I don't have to explain how to play, oh goody! I'll just go over the rules and then we can start!" You were silent. Not only are you very uncomfortable in tight spaces with people but you have not even been in a relationship. You were not alone. You glanced at everyone else to reassure yourself. Monokuma has something planned. They probably just want to kill us off faster so they're putting us in a closed space to help the process go by faster. "Rule #1, no killing." A relief sigh was released from everyone. Okay so today I live another day.. That's nice to know but I should listen for more twists that bear will put as rules. "Rule #2, you must stay in that closet over there for 7 minutes and 7 minutes only." Okay not bad. How bad could 7 minutes locked in a closet be? I looked over to see a supply closet. "Won't that closet be full of I don't know supplies?" Hinata exclaimed, still concerned about this "fun game". "I've emptied it so there's plenty of room!" Monokuma explained. "The 3rd and final rule is you cannot draw a name twice. You must go in the closet with the first name drawn and if your name is drawn twice, then lucky you! You get twice the action! So, shall we begin? Upupupup" Monokuma grabbed a bag of slits of paper with everyone's name on one.

One thought was still bothering you: how were you going to stay in a closet with another being for 7 whole minutes and survive? Sure there was no killing permitted (for once) but still.. With your awkwardness, how could you do it? Can you do it? "Monokuma held the bag as if it was a bag of despair, which it was. "Who will it be? Who's the lucky person to draw a name first... I think.. It should beeeee.."

A Primeval Future
Follow the story of a modern caveman as he learns to survive, thrive, and shape his nascent civilization in a world yet untouched by man. Expect a focus on the nitty-gritty of primitive living, especially early on. I plan for this to eventually progressing to the settlement management and politics stage as people gravitate towards the one guy who looks like he knows what he's doing, but this will likely take some time. Despite the occasional system elements, skilling and levels will not be a part of this story. No shortcuts. There will be violence and there will be sexuality but there will be no sexual violence. I hate reading that crap and I hate writing it even more. This is my first serious foray into writing. I plan to put out at least 1 chapter a week, more when I can. Constructive criticism is very much welcomed as are ideas and suggestions! Cover image credit: "Mesolithic camp site" by Wessex Archaeology is licensed with CC BY-NC 2.0. Lost Things
"In this disordered continent, where everyone seeks to be the heroes of their own tales, there are still some rooms for smaller stories to breathe." "Past, present, and future—keep your eyes open, and see where they lead you to." This story follows three housemates’ lives: Carson Calding, Virgil Barion, and John Salore—onto their adventures of finding Carson’s past, Virgil’s present, and John’s future. Despite their clashing backgrounds and circumstances that forced them together, they’re definitely going to find the things they had lost, for sure. Each entire chapter will be updated biweekly. There'll be three smaller parts per each chapter. Note that this story was written to be an interactive one, with polls at the end of each parts deciding on what happens next. Though, the polls for this story won't be available on Royal Road updates. (I also upload this in Arcane Odyssey forum, and it's currently the only place where I open the polls and use the poll results from.)
