《The Mandalorian of Attack On Titan.》Mikasa and Annie

Mikasa:"What are you doing?"
Annie:"Me? I'm peeling potatoes. What are you doing here? You're not on duty today."
Mikasa slammed the door shut behind her and pulled out a small ring that Annie instantly recognized.
Mikasa:"I found this out on the training grounds. During combat training just now. I believe it's yours."
Annie:"It is, thank you." As she went to grab it, Mikasa quicky pulled her hand back and popped open the small hidden needle.
Mikasa:"What's the purpose of this?" She sternly asked.
Annie:"For self-defense..."
Mikasa:"Someone as talented and skilled as you in close quarter combat shouldn't need to rely on something such as this. Besides, I don't think this will be of any benefit to you during a fight."
Annie:"What are you getting at?"
Mikasa:"Nothing, I'm not interested in any of your silly excuses. Still, I'm curious as to why you would carry a dangerous item like this around."
Annie:"My fath-...my parents gave it to me before I left." Annie looked up at Mikasa and found her staring at the counter top. Annie looked down and noticed she was tightly gripping the knife in her hand.
Annie:"My parents were worried over sending their daughter off to somewhere unknown. They wanted me to bring anything along with me for my protection, even if it was useless. Isn't your father the same?"
Mikasa:"No, because he trusts me to be able to take down whoever dares threaten me or my friends. Your parents should trust you more given how skilled you are."
Annie:"I see..." Mikasa walked up to her and handed back her ring.
Mikasa:"Make sure you don't wear that while practicing against someone. They'll get hurt."

Annie:"Thank you and I barely wear it. I consider it a good luck charm."
Mikasa:"Alright, sorry for bothering you." She turned to leave but stopped when Annie got curious and asked a question.
Annie:"Your father....what's he like?" Mikasa slightly turned her head to face her.
Mikasa:"Where's this coming from?"
Annie:"Well seeing as how you're the only person who's come here, I thought I chat with you to pass the time. If you don't want to then that's fine by me."
Mikasa thought about it for a bit and ended up shutting the door. She looked down and remembered some moments with Din.
Mikasa:"He's a kind, strong, dependable father, one that I'm proud to have."
Annie:'Dependable, huh?'
Mikasa:"Ever since my parents died, I thought I would be sold to a fate far worse than anything anyone could imagine. But then he came along and saved me from that fate, taught me many things, and came to love and treat me like his own daughter. I'm happy to have him in my life."
Annie:"He's not your actual father?"
Mikasa:"No, my parents died when traffickers came to take me and my mother. She died defending me and my father never had the chance to fight back."
Annie:"I'm sorry..."
Mikasa:"It's fine. I'll be going back to the barracks." She opened the door and left Annie to the duty she was assigned to.
Annie stared at the door and then looked outside the window in front of her. She was surprised Mikasa had a dark past but then again, it didn't given how she was always gloomy.
Annie:'Weird, to think her and I are the same.'

The Calculator - Supervillainess Time Loop
What makes a terrifying villain? Is it ruthlessness? Is it how powerful they are and how many buildings they can down in one blow? Is it how hard they are to kill, contain, or get rid of in any manner? Is it their knowledge of a hero’s true identity in a world where secrets must be kept? Or is it perhaps how they seem to be perfect in all their actions, defeating the hero at every step of the way throughout to the last one, only to humiliate them one last time before declaring themselves the winner in the grand scheme of things? Isabella Blair is perfect. She knows all your moves before you even make them. All your ambushes are faced with traps and she dodges all your blows like it’s child’s play. Catching her is impossible because she’s always ten steps ahead of you. She says she calculated everything, but she messes up in every fight. She loses far more than she wins, sometimes a hundred times for just one small victory. Yet, she is perfect. How is that possible, you may ask. That’s because she has the uncanny ability to return to the past whenever she makes a mistake. All that’s left in the end can only be what’s perfect if all the realities in which you’ve lost are gone, after all. And that makes for one hell of a terrifying profile. Crossposting on ScribbleHub, SpaceBattles, and Wattpad. Don't mind the "Pre-Rewrite" Volume. It is there for reference until the story catches up to the chapter count via the Rewrite (and to justify the current reviews as there would be no context to them otherwise). If you are a first-time reader, feel free to start from the other Volume.

The Runners of Westal
Anya Vorian wasn't picky. She'd take any apprenticeship that came her way. It was dirty. They were respected, certainly, but in the sort of way that one respects a skilled plumber - grateful to have the job done, but glad it isn't your arms elbow deep in dung.
