Jungkook POV
"I'll never leave you"
Somehow, for some reason, I just could not stop smiling as I remembered what Taehyung had said.
Shortly after him saying that, Seokjin had knocked on the door and asked if I was ready to view the new properties, cutting our moment short.
I was forced to leave the comfort of Taehyung's arms and take a shower. I gave Taehyung the rest of the day off mainly because he looked like he was about to drop dead at any second and I mean it's not like I couldn't handle myself.
"What are you smiling for?" Seokjin asked as he drove.
"Nothing." I replied and looked out the window just in case he decided to turn his head and look at me. I knew I'd die of embarrassment if he found me blushing like a teenage girl.
"Number one, you never smile for anything. Number two, it wouldn't have anything to do with a particular bodyguard would it?" He asked making my smile grow even wider.
"I'd watch that if I were you. He has someone he likes. Tried it already." He said as he shrugged and pulled into the empty lot.
"What do you mean?" I asked as I turned my head and looked at him as he smirked.
"Maybe you should ask him. It's not really my place to tell but I'll give you a name. Baekhyun" he said as he stepped out of the car and straightened his suit.
Just who he fuck was this Baekhyun?!
I got out and walked to where Seokjin was talking to one of the developers and although I was standing with him and pretended as though I knew what was going on, in reality, I was so blown off course that I had absolutely no idea what I had initially planned for today.
All I remember was Seokjin telling me he had taken an interest in a certain developer's buildings and wanted to invest with him. I remember him saying something about the developer's name being Kim Namjoon and that he was among the top ten wealthiest men.
"Very well. I'll have my assistant bring over the contract for you to review." The tall man whom I was assuming was the Kim Namjoon that Seokjin was talking about, said as he extended his hand to him.

"Sure, or we could discuss it over dinner." Seokjin replied as he smirked, making me roll my eyes at him.
Was there anyone he didn't flirt with.
Throughout the ride back, all I could think about was what he had said and I couldn't understand why it bothered me so much. I had come to terms with the fact that I couldn't be with him like that and that was to save his life, so why did him being with another man bother me so much?
"Don't think about it too much." Seokjin said, bringing me out of my thoughts as he pulled into the driveway of a coffee shop and ordered our drinks.
"I don't know what you're talking about" I replied as I took a sip of mine while he laughed and shook his head.
"Keep playing that game Jungy." He said as he sipped his espresso.
"Call me that again and you'll lose your jewels." I replied making him laugh out loud like the damn child he was.
"Well I'm glad the meds worked. Didn't think it would." He said, reminding me of the exact statement Taehyung had said earlier.
"What meds?" I asked as I took a sip of my coffee.
"The suppository" he replied making me choke on my coffee to the point where I started coughing and had to slap my hand against my chest just so I could breath again.
"It was the only thing I could think of that would break the fever, but hey, look at the bright side, you were asleep and didn't even feel anything." He said as he smirked making me just want to punch that smirk off his face.
"You fucking son of a bitch! You gave him that idea!" I said as I coughed and tried to get the coffee out of my lungs.
"Oh come on, your fever broke and no one got hurt. I'd call it a win win" he said as he slowly pulled into my driveway.
"Since when do you care if someone gets hurt?" I asked as I grabbed a few tissues and wiped my nose.
"You're right, I don't. Now get out, I have a dinner date to plan." He said making me roll my eyes as I got out.

I shook my head as he winked at me and pulled out of the driveway while he laughed.
He could be so immature at times!
I let out a sigh as I walked into the mansion and made my way upstairs. For some reason, I just didn't feel like talking or associating with anyone today and just felt like sleeping.
Maybe it was the after effects of the fever or maybe it was because I just felt so done with everything.
I hadn't told anyone that I had been feeling sickly as of late, mainly because I didn't think it was necessary or important but I did not expect to faint like that. Something like that had never happened before.
I walked into my room and closed the door behind me. I stripped out of my clothes and walked towards the bathroom. I rubbed my eyes as I opened the bathroom door only to get a shock of my life when I saw Taehyung standing in front of me, completely naked and dripping wet. I widened my eyes and stood there like an idiot for a few seconds before I gasped and closed the door.
I leaned against the door and tried to calm myself down before he saw anything that would diminish the last shred of dignity I had left.
I looked around and grabbed the towel on the bed, using it to cover me when I heard the shower door opening. I looked up and saw him coming into the room while he dried his hair with a towel. I tried not to stare at his absolutely perfect body, but he was making it so difficult with the way his muscles flexed as he moved.
"Uhm. Sorry" I said as I scratched the back of my head and looked the other way when he dropped his towel and slipped on his boxer.
"It's fine, but did you need me to do something for you?" He asked as he slipped on his sweatpants and stood in front of me shirtless like it was the most normal thing to do.
"No, I actually just wanted to take a shower." I replied as I looked at the wall.
"You uh, wanted to take a shower in my bathroom?" He asked and chuckled making me snap my head in his direction.
I looked around the room wide eyed and felt like slapping myself in the face when I realized that I was indeed standing in the middle of his room in a towel.
I was so lost in my own thoughts that I failed to notice that I had entered the wrong room!
His chuckling made it all the more embarrassing as he walked to his closet and took out a t shirt. He slipped it on and turned towards me, who was still standing there like the idiot that I am.
" I use bubblegum shampoo, I hope you don't mind" he said as he smirked at me.
"Huh?"
"It's on the top shelf of the shower." He replied and began brushing his hair.
Did he want me to take a shower in his bathroom?
The thought alone sounded insane, but then again so did walking to my room in a towel!
I nodded and walked towards the bathroom. I closed the door behind me and wished the ground could swallow me whole!
I opened the tap and let the water run down my body while I leaned my forehead against the wall. I closed my eyes and smiled when the image of Taehyung appeared in my head.
I had no idea if it was because of the fact that I hadn't had sex in months or if it was due to the fact that I just just seen him naked, but somehow, my body reacted to him instantly.
I let out a sigh as I ran my hand down my body and wrapped my hand around myself. I let out a shaky breath as I moved my hand and began to slowly stroke myself and I was not even surprised when the imagine of Taehyung conjured itself in my mind. For some reason, lately, he had been the only thing I had been thinking about.
I could feel myself nearing the edge as I leaned my forehead against the wall and sped up my strokings and tightened my hand.
"Did you find the shampoo?"

Almost a Good Person
A memory, a memory of a boy who wanted more than pain, of a girl who wanted more than death, and an Isle that should not exist. The Isle of Red is a small, unassuming, quiet place. It is just large enough for a college, a small town, and maybe even a few more unusual sorts of places. Of course, the townsfolk practically know each other as family. Flush-faced regulars can be found toasting just about anything in the Briar's Brew, then, a few streets away, the same haggle of older women stationed themselves on their perch as they did every day from one of the few balconies in Central Square. They fuss away now, spouting the usual gossip as they watch us all from on high. Then there is the College here on the Isle of Red. My college. It has been often described as an unusual place by a good deal of people on the mainland. If they only would visit -why I am sure they'll soon have a change of heart, they may even come to find it a quaint sort of place, odd but in the same way a tattered old quilt can be both odd looking and warm, and especially soft. We teach mostly the same sort of disciplines here, with fantastic and absolutely normal professors.I must conclude that I am quite smitten with myself. The stage is set with a level of perfection that would have astonished me in my youth. They are coming. Derek will follow her. He knows the weight of reality too intimately, but she will be his true north if only for a short time. A beacon in the storm to show him the stunning pastels and brightness the sun may yet refract through his thinner, sharper pieces. Theoline will lead as she always has- well not always, not yet. She holds onto questions feverishly tight, that one. Lights them up inside like a new type of fuel without the slightest worry of being burned. She knows... There is but a certain few who can look at a map and find nothing where I stand but the Atlantic Ocean. And still, there is earth beneath me, a noisy pub down the road from me, and several people clucking conspiratorially on a balcony above me. She knows... that the Isle of Red doesn't belong here. Neither, technically, do I. (Hello!
