《The Long and Winding Road { Dreamwastaken x reader ff }》Chapter 5

It was already Monday, I was so tired and I'm really not ready to deal with Terra. We had our first period together, English. We both were pretty bad students so that was the one thing we bonded over, being a disappointment.
"Hey, Terra." I slid into my seat next to her.
"Y/n!" She smiled, how is this girl so happy all the time.
"Yeah....sorry, but I really can't do the Clay thing." I apologized.
She smiled, "No worries! I'm kinda over him now."
"Already? You haven't even met him yet." I was shocked.
There was a moment of silence in our conversation. I took the book our class was reading out of my backpack and threw it onto my desk. I turned back to Terra, she looked as though she wanted to tell me something, "Terra?"
"...I-I..." Terra stuttered, "I saw what happened on Saturday."
I was left confused, what happened on Saturday? Then it finally hit me, "The slap?"
Terra giggled, "Yeah, he seemed like an asshole." She started rolling her pencil back and forth on the desk, "Why didn't you tell me that you hated him?"
Is this the same Terra? I mean we've only been friends since the start of the year, but damn.
"I just thought it wouldn't be a problem." I let out a fake laugh to try to break the awkwardness.
Terra started taking out her books for class out of her backpack, "Wanna eat lunch in my car after class?" She asked as as she rummaged through her messy backpack.
Terra checked her phone, "It's 12:30, I should get going," She started packing up her lunch and then threw it in the back seat of her car carelessly.

Terra handed me her car keys, "I need to get going, like right now, I gotta meet up with a teacher because apparently 'my grades have been low'. So just lock the car once your done and give me it back after school." She shut the car door and started sprinting back to the school building.
"Huh," I took another bite of my dinosaur chicken nuggets as I watched her run away.
I went to pick up another nugget and out of no where a giant thud hit the car. I dropped my chicken nugget on the car floor, "Shit," I picked up their body and stared at their deformed face. "Poor little fellow," I wiped the nugget then put it back in my mouth.
Another loud thud hit the car again. I jumped, "God fucking damnit." I started hearing some muffled yelling.
My curiosity and deep desire to stick my head into other people's business took over me and I very silently opened the window so I could hear what they were saying.
