After some time since Ada left, Y/N finally woke up. He looked around for any sign of Ada. He had to guess that Ada went after Annette. He looked at the wound and saw that it was covered in bandages.

Y/N: "Damn, I must have overslept a little. Can't believe I got shot in the same spot where Leon was hit. I really am taking his place."

He started to slowly get up and back on his feet. It was difficult for him because of the bullet wound. Y/N decided to get an herb he had picked up and help dull the pain.

Y/N: "Better go find Ada. If it's like the game, then she must need help. I'm on my way."

Y/N head for the small elevator in the hall and went up. As he reached the top, he was an area with a water gate at his right. There was also a chest nearby. He went to it and picked up extra ammo and grenades he stored in while he was in the police station. Y/N was thinking about taking the magnum with him but he decided to leave it and save it for later.

Once he was done, he goes downstairs and was about to jump down to the sewer water.

Y/N: "Here we go again. Back into the sewers."

Y/N jumped down and entered the through the dark sewer tunnel. He found more handgun ammo along the way.

Y/N: "God, this is so gross. I guess I can't always rely on a clean route. It stinks here too but that's sewers for you."

He had to take a right since the left route was locked. Ahead there was another choice of direction. Y/N took was about to take a left but then saw that it was blocked by bars, so he took the other direction and continued on.

Y/N: "I just don't get a choice of direction do I?"

He finally found some ground and got out of the water. There was a zombie ahead as Y/N got his pistol out and started firing at the zombie's head. It took 4 or 5 shots to kill it. On the way, he saw dead Umbrella soldiers. Y/N went and search for anything useful but it was only ammo he didn't use and their guns were unusable

Y/N: "All of these guy's weapons just had to be broken. It's almost like someone doesn't want me to use these guns."

He saw one of the soldiers carrying a tape. He picked it up and took it with him.

Y/N: "Might as well watch this when I get the chance."

Y/N moved on and entered an area with doors that were currently locked. There was also a bridge ahead and a chest piece connected to a panel. He encountered more zombies as they were starting to get up. He decided to run across the bridge and avoid the zombies. There was one in front of him. He shot it a few times and moved on, not knowing if he killed it or not.

Y/N went downstairs and got back in the sewer water. He had to slide down and get to the lower level. As he got out, he spat out any water that got in him and tried to brush the sewage off him.

Y/N: "Great, now I'm covered in shit. I should have kept my mouth closed."

He saw something up ahead and notice something in the water moving. Y/N got his shotgun out and had it ready. As he continued walking cautiously, he saw something that may be a monster in the water.

Y/N: "Of course, I have to fight those G monsters. I hate those things."

As he starts shooting it, It emerged out of the water and started approaching him. Y/N aimed at it's shoulder until it revealed an eye. The G monster spit outs little G parasites and they swam towards him. Y/N had to dodge them and fired another shell at the larger G. It finally died after it's eye was destroyed. He ran past and got back on ground level.

Y/N: "I better not let any of those things attach to me. So far, almost anything I face can instantly kill me. Must be realistic if all of these bio weapons are made by T or G Virus."

He went through the next door and saw a cable car as he went up the stairs.

Y/N: "Okay, almost there."

Y/N went up the ladder and entered the control room. There was some shotgun ammo around and a locker with a combination lock. But he didn't know the code. Once he picked up the ammo, he saw a exit and jumped down. He had to jumped down one more to reach solid ground. As he reached the next room, he heard growling somewhere around.

Y/N: "Of course there's something big out there. Why the hell not."

He looked around and saw that no zombies or G mutants around. Y/N head for the window and saw it was the waste disposal area. He looked down and saw Ada unconscious.

Y/N: "There you are. Hope you're still alive down there. Don't worry, I'll be there soon."

He hurried and head for the door. But it was electronically locked as Y/N saw half of the chess in the panels. He clutched his fists in frustration.

Y/N: "Just as soon as I find the rest of the pieces and solve this god damn PUZZLE!"

Just as he was about to leave, he saw a TV and a VCR.

Y/N: "Might as well play this."

He inserted the tape and the TV started to play it.

It was in a first person view camera as it showed an opened case of virus samples.

USS Solider: "Please... Oh...please...stop... Stop!

Gunfire was being heard until it showed another USS soldier firing at the mutated Birkin. But it had no effect. He picked up the case and started eating the samples.

USS Soldier: "Don't...don't...no...no...no..."

USS Soldier 2: "OVER HERE, YOU FREAK!"

USS Soldier: "Don't hurt him...don't hurt him!"

Birkin dropped the case and approached the soldier shooting. He soon slashed him across the wall and the soldier died. He looked down as the rats were eating the liquid that was inside broken samples. The video soon ended as Birkin stepped over the sample.

Y/N: "Nothing too special. Anyway, let's find the other pieces."

He heads back out of the room and entered the treatment pool room. He pulled a lever that lowered the bridge. When it reached to his level, he crossed it and went for the cable car. Y/N found another valve handle and took it with him.

Y/N: "How many valves are there again cause there always seems to be a lot."

Before he leaves the area, he went to the safe on the other side. There was also a corpse by it.

Y/N: "You better not get up."

He looked at the safe for a moment.

Y/N: "Oh no, I don't know the code. I wonder what it could be. Oh, wait! Never mind, it's right by the side. What a fucking miracle!" He said, sarcastically.

He worked on the combination then opened the safe. It was a shotgun stock. He combined it with his shotgun.

Y/N: "Nice, now I look like a badass."

Y/N exit the treatment pool room and heads downstairs. There were a few zombies in the room but he had a little trouble as he fired the shotgun at each zombie. After about a minute, he cleared this room full of zombies. A crawler was getting to Y/N's leg but Y/N had his shotgun aimed at the zombie's head and blown it off.

Y/N: "That's how it's done. Wait a minute, what am I doing? I should be saving these shells for the G monsters."

He went to the lever and pulled it. The gate opened and Y/N jumped back in the sewer water. He crossed through the sewer water and came up to ground when he saw a valve sign. He used the valve and opened the door. Y/N saw a small elevator in the room then used it to go up.

When he reached the top, he saw a hip pouch. Y/N went to it and attached it on him, making more space for ammo.

Y/N: "I was wondering if I was gonna need another one of these."

He unlocked the door and opened it. He was back in the room where the bridge with the chest piece. He glance at the bridge and saw zombies currently on it. He took it and the bridge raised up, along with the zombies.

Y/N continued on and head for the path he came in once. There was a zombie in the way. He switched to his pistol and aimed at it.

Y/N: "Alright, not gonna use the shotgun this time."

He started to shooting it every 3 rounds until he killed it. Zombies from the bridge were falling off and started to head to Y/N.

Y/N: "Sorry. don't feel like sticking around."

He quickly left the area and double back to where the locked door was. There was another door with a valve required. He opened it and the door opened. He goes down stairs and enters another sewage area. It was filled with blood, sewage and other parts that Y/N does not want to know about. He saw a door with a red light above. Y/N sighed as he did not want to go through with this.

Y/N: "I can't believe I have to go down there."

He had his shotgun ready and climbed down the ladder. Y/N began to cross through the sewer water with caution. As he approached another corpse, a G parasite came out of the torso and jumped in the water.

Y/N: "Damn xenomorphs. I'm staying away from those Alien movies."

He climbed on the sewage and passed by many corpses then jumped back in the water as he continued to navigate through the small maze. He saw another lump of G in the water.

Y/N: "Great, another one of those things."

He lured it out by shooting it with his pistol. It emerge out of the water and starts heading towards Y/N. It had no protection for it's eye. Y/N fired two shotgun shells at the eye. It was destroyed and the G monster died.

Y/N continued on as he prepares to face another G mutant. He was getting close to the door until another G mutant came out of the the pipe and face Y/N. It's eye was covered by the flesh. Y/N threw a grenade at it then exploded as it reached the G monster. It did damage to the flesh on it's shoulder but didn't expose the eye. It was getting closer as Y/N fired the shotgun at it. It took two shots to expose the eye. Y/N fired another shotgun shell at it and was about to fire another one but he had to reload.

Y/N: "Not good!"

He didn't have time as it was getting closer, so he quickly switched to his pistol and fired it repeatedly until the eye was destroyed. It was finally destroyed and the G monster fell in the water and died.

Y/N was about to move on but he turned around and saw another G mutant approaching him.

Y/N: "Not another one. I'm getting out of here."

He hurried to the other side and finally reached the ground. The G monster went back in the water as soon as Y/N was out of it.

Y/N: "I wish I didn't have to go back. But let's get the other two pieces first."

He entered the door and was in a storage room. Y/N looked around saw many closed doors in the area. He sighed.

Y/N: "Another puzzle."

He went down the stairs and went through the opened door on his left. When he went through it, he saw the queen piece plugged in on the panel. He took it and the door closed.

Y/N: "That's fine, I don't need to go that way anyway."

He approached another door with a queen panel and plugged it in. The door opened and he entered through it, gaining access to the second floor. As he was about to reach the stairs, a zombie dropped to the floor and started to get up.

Y/N: "I'm not going deal with you."

He heads up the stairs and goes through the door. The zombie was following him up. Y/N found the king piece and watched the zombie get closer. He waited until he was close enough. When the zombie was about to enter through the door with it's arms reaching out to Y/N, he pulled the plug and the door closed, trapping the zombie's arm on the door.

Y/N: "That takes care of that." He smirked.

He jumped down back to the first floor and reentered the door where the queen piece was. This time he entered the door on his left and insert the king piece. The door opened and he went in. Y/N saw a flamethrower in that room, so he picked it up and took it with him.

Y/N: "Now I get to burn things." He laughed mischievously.

He went back out and took the king piece out. He back to the queen door as he saw the zombie still struggling to get out.

Y/N: "Having fun up there? Good."

He took the queen piece and set the queen piece where he found it. The door opened and he went through it, there was another door in front of him with a king panel. He put the king piece in and opened the door. He went in and heads back around to the queen piece and took it then went back and took the king piece again.

Y/N: "Alright, I got all of them. Now to get back to Ada."

He heads upstairs and leaves the room, going back to the infested sewer maze. He got back in the water and passed by the water pipe. He went straight ahead as he avoids the G monster heading towards Y/N that he ran from earlier. He managed to climb on the sewage and drop to the next area, getting close to the ladder. He was about to reach the ladder but another G mutant emerged out of the water and grabbed Y/N.

Y/N: "No. Not like this!"

It's mouth was about to implant a G parasite but Y/N was holding it with one hand and used a knife to stab the mouth. As soon as he got free, he threw another grenade at it and stepped back from the explosion.

The explosion managed to destroy the eye and kill the creature. He sighed in relief as it was a close call.

Y/N: "Better get out of here before I fight another one."

He climbed up the ladder and got back on the platform.

Y/N: "I'm not going back that way."

He went for the door across the bridge and opened it with the valve. He was back in the room where he cleared the area with zombies. Y/N went upstairs and returned back to the treatment pool room then the room with the other chess pieces.

Y/N: "Okay, now to put all these pieces in the right place. Let's look at where they need to go."

He goes to the center of the panels and read the note.

Y/N: "Rook and knight on the same wall, bishop and queen aren't next to each other and queen and rook on opposite each other. Okay, I got it. Shouldn't take too long."

Y/N: "Oh, come on! You know that's not true! It's only been 15 minutes!"

Y/N: "Close enough."

Y/N: "Oh, right. Right."

Y/N had his hand on his head in frustration.

Y/N: "How is this so difficult! If only I could look it up online like I usually do! I know the queen and rook are in the right places, same as the knight But where does the other three go?"

Y/N: "Maybe if I put the bishop here? No that would be next to the queen. Maybe if I..."

Y/N set the last piece in, though it was in the wrong spot. However the door was unlocked and opened

Y/N: "Oh, I guess that worked. I must be better at puzzles than I thought."

Y/N: "I'm almost there Ada."

He goes through the door and was outside of the waste disposal door. He pulled the lever next to the door but nothing happened.

Y/N: "Always one thing after another."

He turned around and entered the room across the waste disposal. He went to the generator and restored the power.

Y/N: "Weird, I thought this was another puzzle."

Y/N: "Anyway, back to Ada."

He was head through until something stopped him.

*CRASH*

An claw came from the ceiling and smashed the door.

Y/N: "Damn it! Stop preventing me to get to Ada!"

The fuel barrels soon began to lit on fire and spread throughout the room.

Y/N: "Double Damn it! Now the room's on fire!"

He had to dodge out of the way as the claw was about to slash him from above.

Y/N: "That's even better!"

Y/N had to keep avoiding the claw as he moves to a different area. The fire was soon spreading out of the room and he was running out of space. As soon as Y/N was at the last corner, the shutter behind him was being slashed opened and moved the shutter out of the way. Y/N finally got a clear view of who was attacking him.

Y/N: "Great, Birkin's back! And he's stronger now!"

He ran past him and ran through the hall, quickly turn to each corner at the end of the hall with Birkin following him. He soon end up running across a platform in an opened area. He saw a crane holding a container. He jumped down to the next platform and ran to the controls. He quickly pressed a button and the crane moved the container to the other side of the area. Birkin jumped down and was making it's way towards Y/N.

Y/N: "Alright, round 2!"

Birkin came up close and was about to slash him. Y/N rolled out of the way and ran to the other side of the platform. Y/N had his shotgun aimed at Birkin and fired at his big eye. It had little effect on him as Birkin got close enough for another slash with it's claw. Y/N managed to barely avoid it but still got hit. Y/N fired another shell at Birkin from behind, shooting his back eye.

It roared in pain as it got on one knee for a moment, recovering from the wound. Y/N took this chance to hit the button while he had his hand on his injury. The crane slowly moved the container back to where it was.

Y/N: "Alright, time for you to go."

Birkin got back up and resumed in attacking Y/N. He fired his shotgun at Birkin to keep him there but it was not slowing him down.

Y/N: "Come on! Stay there a little longer!"

Y/N threw a flash bang at it and it managed to stun him from the sudden bright flash. Birkin stopped as it swing it's arm around with it's eye closed for a moment. It was enough time for the container to hit Birkin and push him off the platform. However, Birkin was hanging on the container and tried to climb up. But the crane's hook detached and Birkin fell into the bottomless floor along with the container.

Y/N: "I beat him again. I just might survive this whole game."

He started to make his way back to the waste disposal, using the path that the container made. He would soon regroup with Ada and enter the underground lab.
