Narrator's POV
All three scouts met in the basement. Shadow was gone except for his shoulders and up.
"Shadow..." Scourge whispered as he looked at his almost forever gone lover.
"Hurry, all emotions back into the original!" Tails signaled.
Naughty and Bashful let their group go first, then they went in. Clever and Smart let their group go first, then they entered. Fear and Brave let their group go first, then they did. All emotions were back in their body.
The room went silent.
"Shadow!" Scourge ran to his still disappearing lover. "Why is he still disappearing?" Asked Scourge.
"I don't know, there must be an emotion that is still out there somewhere." Tails explained.
"Let's look for him!" Sonic ran out the basement. Tails ran out as well. Scourge stayed down there to watch his disappearing lover.
Sonic's POV
I searched the backyard, the tool shed, the bushes everywhere outside. Nothing. Where could he be?!
Tails's POV
I searched the house, up stairs, attic, living room, kitchen. Everywhere! He wasn't there!
Scourge's POV
Shadow's eyes were half gone. "Guys! Hurry!" They came back in. "Did you find him?!" They didn't say anything. "Well, did you?" I asked.
"Well...no."
"We searched everywhere! He's not here... I'm sorry." My ears perked up.
"Stay here! I might have an idea where he is." I ran out the basement and upstairs into the room where Clever had been. "Shadow! Come on, please..." I heard a small squeak coming from under the bed. I kneeled down and looked under the bed. "Shadow?" I whispered.
There he was curled up with fear in his eye. His eyes were big and bright. He looked so defenseless, so weak, so hopeless...
"Come on out Shadow... I'm not gonna hurt you." I told him. He seemed more scared now. "Please... Let's go home..."

"Home?" He whispered.
"Yes, home." He crawled out and I picked him up. I walked with him in my arms down to the basement. There I saw Sonic mad Tails. Shadow's ears were the only thing left. "There you go... It's home."
He looked at me. "Home..." He smiled. I smiled back at him, a sudden pressure was pressed upon my cheek. He was kissing me. I blushed. He giggled and got out of my arms. "Home..." The tips of Shadow's ears were the only thing left. He walked in and was suddenly gone. The tip of Shadow's ears disappeared completely.
He was gone.
Narrator's POV
"No! No! No! No! No! Please! Shadow! Please!" Scourge tried holding air, trying to bring his love back. Trying to put the pieces together.
Tails and Sonic put their heads down looking down at the ground in sadness and sorrow, for their friend was forever gone and there was no way to bring him back. Scourge's expression changed all of the sudden when he placed his eyes on the kit.
"You! This is all your fault! You! You did this! If you would have never used him as your genie pig for your experiment, none of this would have happened! You, you, you...bastard!"
"Scourge!"
"No, Sonic. I deserve that." Tails stated. "You're right. I should have never used him. Tonight was my fault and mine only. I'm sorry Scourge..."
"Like that's gonna fix anything. It's too late to apologize." Scourge walked past the blue hedgehog and orange fox, stopping at the staircase. He turned his head to the right. "So long...thanks for nothing..." Were his last words.
The fox and hedgehog laid their heads down in disappointment. The green being was disappointed and angered, his love was forever gone.

You know why you clicked on a story with this title #anime is trash and so am I The main character dies of a heart attack and awakens in another world, alone and in a cave with the body of a newborn baby. However he also has increased mind based stats due to his memories, so expect a somewhat op start, but no where near all powerful for the world. There is no real plot, the main character is just trying to figure out what he can before something that already knows what it is doing manages to kill him first.
