Sandra: Answer your phone.
(2)Sandra: Holy I see you in front of me.
(3)Sandra: You're even looking at your phone.
Amelia💗👯: What?
Sandra: Finally!!
Amelia💗👯: Excuse me for actually wanting to learn.
Sandra: Mrs. Snore is a boring anyway. Idk how you're awake I'm yawning every five seconds.
Amelia💗👯: Mrs. GARRETT is a good teacher now leave me alone
Sandra: Lia seriously?
Amelia💗👯: what?
Sandra: Is this about Emil?
Amelia💗👯: Emil who?👀
Sandra: stfu you know who I'm talking about.
Amelia💗👯: I don't want to talk about it🙄
Sandra: Lunch?
Amelia💗👯: no.
Sandra: during art then?
Amelia💗👯: still no and stop coming into my art class babe you have class yourself.
Sandra: after school?
Amelia💗👯: busy.
Sandra: the school boat dance tonight?
Amelia💗👯: I don't think I'm going to go tbh.
Sandra: WHAT? WHY? WE EVEN PLANNED OUT OUTFITS😑YOU'RE COMING.
Amelia💗👯: It's going to be shit anyway. It's not even going to be a proper boat.
(2)Amelia💗👯: Watch it'll be a dinghy.
Sandra:😂shut up
Amelia💗👯: it's true😒
The bell rang and I waited for Amelia as she packed her stuff, putting them into her bag. "You're really not going to come?"
Amelia shook her head. "Nah. I have work anyway and I'm not up to it. You know that I'm sick too."
"C'mon Lia. You love a good dance." I knew Amelia. She wasn't going to let some sickness or even work stop her from dancing the night away. Besides, it was the first time in decades our school was bringing back an event like this. I didn't want her to miss out.
"Not tonight." Amelia pulled away from me, walking down the hallway as students started moving towards their next class.
"I'm honestly not feeling good. Have a good time without me." And now that I was staring at her clearly, she looked flushed and a little pale for my liking.

"Feel better." I told her, giving her a quick hug before she walked down the hallway.
I didn't think it was just the sickness. This break up with Emil was honestly getting to be so bad. Amelia had been down for the past week and wasn't truly acting herself. Emil on the other hand looked as if nothing had happened.
She told me that Emil and her had broken up and that it was mutual but I felt like Amelia was the one who got broken up with instead.
Maybe she just doesn't want to admit it. I thought to myself, heading to my locker.
My phone buzzed in her pocket and I looked at it.
👭
My eyes narrowed at the phone screen. I knew my little sister wasn't telling me the full story.
Sandra: which friend?
👭
Sandra: you know I can find out and tell mom or dad right?
👭🙄
Sandra: I'll see you at six before I leave.
👭
Sandra: don't push it.
👭
I sighed, wondering what the hell my sister was doing after school. I knew she wasn't going to the boat dance.
So what was she doing?
"Sister issues?" A voice asked.
Cameron's eyes were on my phone and I shoved it into my pants, quickly opening my locker to find my Calculus textbook. "I never know what Raina is doing."
"She's fifteen Sandy."
"And? She could be doing the unthinkable after school with the people she hangs out with."
"Oh yeah? Like what?" He leaned against the locker beside mine, just as I shoved my physics textbook inside.
"I don't know. She could be smoking, drinking...oh my god...she could be having sex. My little sister's virginity could be gone before mine."
Cameron raised an eyebrow. "Have you met your sister? I don't think she'll do that."

"You may have thought that last year but this year it's like I have a whole different person living under the same roof as me."
She was rebelling. Enough said.
"Seriously? When was the last time I've been over to your place?"
I closed my locker, thinking back. "I think it was last summer."
"Worst cousin ever huh?"
I shrugged. "If our moms reconciled then maybe I would see you more outside of school."
Cameron's mom and my mom had a fall out last year. I rarely see Cameron outside of school since he was busy with so many things. He was on student council, the soccer team even glee club. I barely saw him as it was.
"That's not going to happen." We both said at the same time.
Just then the bell rang. "I have to head to Calculus. See you tonight?"
Cameron nodded. "I'll be that guy standing to the side while the rest of you people are dancing away."
I rolled my eyes, passing by him. "I'll see you dancing tonight, Cameron."
My phone buzzed in my pocket again and I saw a text from Amelia.
Amelia💗👯: I'm heading home🤒. Tell me all about the dance tonight and take tons of pictures😛❤️️
Let's see if I'm going to enjoy this dance without my dance partner.

Also English isn't my mother language so any advice or correction is welcomed.
