"Dad?" I screamed as Cam and I entered the house.
No one seemed to bed in the living room or kitchen.
"Hi sweetie we missed you." He came trotting down stairs and pulled me into a hug.
"I missed you too." I smiled at him.
"Oh and Hello Cameron it's nice to see you again." He said, pulling away from me.
"You too Mr.Grier." They shook hands.
Grabbing my bag I started heading up to my room, Cam following after. Pushing the door open I threw my suitcase down and dived into my bed. I could hear Cam laugh behind me before he climbed into the bed too.
"So what are we doing today?" He asked, wrapping his arm around me.
"Maybe we could go to the mall a little later then the movies after? I still need some shoes." I suggested.
"Sure let me just go shower first." He pushed himself off the bed.
He grabbed some clothes from his suitecase and walked into the bathroom. I stayed laying down in my bed just enjoying the comfort of home.
"When'd you get home?" Hayes asked, walking into my room.
"About an hour ago." I answered sitting up.
"Oh well dad just wanted me to tell you that we're going out to dinner tonight." He explained getting up and walking towards the door.
"Sounds good." I answered, closing it behind him.
Turning I walked towards my closet and pulled out a pair of skinny jeans, a maroon cardigan with a plain white tank top underneath and some sperry's.
Changing into them I walked back out to find Cameron dressed and ready sitting in the bed.
"Ready?" He asked, standing up and grabbing my hand leading us down the stairs.
"Dad we're going out!" I yelled, walking through the door and into the car.
"Where do you wanna go first babe?" Cam asked as we walked towards the entrance of the mall.
"Let's go to Tilly's." I decided and he agreed.

We walked hand and hand into the store.
"I'm ganna go check out the vans." Cam said.
"Okay I'll be over there." I said, pointing towards all the racks or shorts.
Nodding we both turned and went our separate ways. Sifting through the rack I found the perfect pair of shorts. They where a teal blue with Aztec pattern printed on.
"Your ass would look great in those." A voice commented.
I spun around quickly to see who the person was. I was met with a pair of bright green eyes.
"Jack?" I questioned eying him up and down.
Jack is my ex boyfriend. I had broken up with him in December and things did not go smooth.
"Hello Lexi." He said, smiling and showing off his dimples.
"Um hi what's up?" I asked, a little awkwardly.
"Nothing much baby girl just been around, where have you been?" He asked, using my old nickname.
"I've been with my brother and his friends in California for a while. And please don't call me that..." I trailed off.
"Why not? Didn't you use to love when I called you that." He stepped closer towards me.
He was a little to close to me for my liking since Cam could come and see us any minute.
"Y-yeah but that was when you weren't an asshole. Plus I have a boyfriend now." I looked up at him.
"So I've heard. One of your brother's friends right?. I'll bet I'm way better then him." He asked smirking.
"You were a complete dick by the end of our relationship. So I don't think you're anywhere near being better." I glared at him.
"I can tell you now that I'm way better in bed then him." He whispered, smirking and started to lean in.
Before I could slap him in the face for that comment Cam had walked over.
"Hi babe." He kissed my forehead, wrapping his arm around my waist.
"Hi." I smiled up at him.
"Who's this?" He asked, referring to Jack.

I had to think for a moment on how to introduce him.
"This is just an old friend of mine Jack. Jack this is my boyfriend Cameron." I introduced him.
"Oh cool hey dude." Cam said.
"Hey well I gotta get going maybe I'll see you at prom?" He asked.
"Yeah see you there." I said back, taking Cam's hand and walking out of the store.
We walked through the almost too crowded mall towards the candy store since I wanted some sour patch kids.
"So I'm guess he's your ex right?" Cam asked, breaking the silence.
"How'd you know?" I asked looking at him.
"I could hear him in the store." He explained.
"Oh well ah yeah we had a thing for a while.Until he turned into an asshole."
Cam stopped walking and looked down at me.
"I'm better then him right?" He asked. looking down into my eyes.
"A thousand times better." I smiled, standing on my tippy toes to kiss him.
"Good because his dick's probably all in his personality anyway." He pulled away.
Letting out a small giggle, I grasped his hand and dragged him to the nearest shoe store instead.
"Hey dad." I smiled as Cam and I sat down at the table joining my dad.
Cam had pulled my chair out so I could sit and took the seat next to mine. We had just gotten done with shopping and met up with my dad at Chili's.
The waiter came over and greeted us and took our orders. He was about our age and looked a lot like Carter but shorter and had greenish eyes.
"I'll just have a burger and fries." Cam answered putting down his menu.
"And what would the pretty lady like?" He asked turning toward me.
"Ah I'll just have a Caesar salad with grilled chicken." I answered looking at him.
"Sure thing." He winked at me ask he walked away.
I could just feel the glare Cam was giving him as he placed his hand on my knee. I could hear him whisper mine in my ear as my dad spoke up.
"So do you guys have any plans for after prom?" He asked, sipping his drink.
"Yes sir, Jacob and I rented a cabin for a few days after if that okay with you?" He seemed a little nervousness so I placed my hand over his.
He sat there and thought for a few seconds.
"Jacob? That's Taylor's boyfriend right?" He turned to me.
"Yup you have met him a few times." I answered.
"Well I guess if you give me the address it's okay with me." He smiled at us.
"Thanks dad!" I leaned over the table and hugged him.
As soon as we got home I jumped into my bed. Cam soon followed as he changed first and handed me his shirt. I sat up and slipped mine off along with my pants and put it on.
Climbing under the covers Cam wrapped his arm around me.
"Oh shit sorry are your ribs still hurting?" He panicked as his hand brushed over them and I winced.
"Yeah just a little sore but I'll be fine." I readjusted myself.
"You took the pills right?" He looked down at me.
Nodding yes, I placed my head on his bare chest.
"So tell me about the cabin." I said, tracking patterns along his arm with my finger.
"It's more of two different cabins so Jacob and Taylor can do their thing and we can do ours." He kissed me.
"Oh and what kind is things are those." I unwrapped my arms around him, going to straddle his lap.
"You'll just have to wait and see. But how about a sneak preview tonight." He cheekily smiled up at me before pulling me into a kiss.

UNSPOKEN
Unspoken is a book filled with poems and songs I've made throughout my life. Each chapter will be either a song or poem. They are similar to what many of you have experienced in life... featuring love, heartbreak, loneliness, etc. These are all the emotions I was never able to let out so I chose to write them out on paper.
