《Science-Bros: the really long and twisty tale of Tony and Bruce.》What happened to Tony?

"..." Steve looked at the others, a worried expression on his face. "... Bruce... Tony's in a coma."
The doctor's heart almost sank, hands shaken from the news. "Wha-what happened?! I though the Hul- the Other Guy protected him!? Wait! It that why I was send underground? Because they thought he hurt him!?" Bruce asked them, slightly panicking.
"When the reinforcments showed up, the Hulk had Tony in his arms, helmat ripped off. None of us are sure what happened before that, but Tony had slipped into the coma around that time. He roared at anyone who tried to get close, and it took four elephant tranqulizers to calm him enough to retrieve Tony." Steve relayed the events. He looked sorry, and old, too old from the age he had been when he froze in the ice. The team always considered him mid-twenties, not in the late eighties.
Bruce sunk his head down, a worry expression flooded his face. The Other Guy didn't try to protect him, but he wasn't the cause of Tony being in a coma. The doctor bit his lips hard and buried his face into one of his hands, refusing to let the others see his tears.
Thor wasn't easily fooled. He sat on the other side of Bruce, pulling him into a hug. "It is alright Banner, you may cry. None of us will judge." Steve nodded, even though he figured Bruce couldn't see it.
Bruce clings onto the demigod as he broke down in his arms, upset at the fact that his closest friend was in a coma and he was possibly blamed for it.
Thor rubbed Bruces back, the only sound in the jet was the faint hum of the engins, and Bruces sobs.
One of the scientist fists balls up, gripping harder onto Thor as he cursed at himself. "I'm such a fucking wreckless idiot! How could I done something like that to him!?" he cried, thinking Tony's coma and hurting him was all his doing.

"We don't know for sure if it was the Hulks fault that Tony slipped into a coma. We didn't even know where you were until four hours ago." Steve said, reaching out to put a hand on his shoulder. "Until we have the whole story, lets not make assumptions."
Bruce stiffened a little when he felt Steve's hand on his shoulder, anger and worry still flooded his mind but tries to calm down a slightly so he won't wake up the Other Guy.
"Clint, how much longer till we reach home base?" Steve turned and asked, patting Bruce slightly. Thor was still rubbing his back.
"About an hour and a half." the archer called back to them. Bruce sighs slightly as he sobs began to die down, loosening his grip on Thor.
Thor released Bruce, still sitting beside him though. "Are you better Banner?"
"I'll manage..." the doctor mutters quietly, still filled with guilt and shame.
The jet was filled with silence again, each person let to their own thoughts. Thor had been thinking hard, then pulled something out from one of the seats. He opened the box, and offered a poptart package to Bruce. "If you have not eaten in a long time, you should have this."
Bruce looked over at the demigod and the at the poptarts, taking it from him. "Thank you.." he said as he began to eat, finally having the chance to fill up his empty stomach.
Thor smiled, glad to be of some more assistance. He reached over and also pulled out a plastic water bottle. "Here."
The doctor took the water as well and gave Thor a small weak smile, the first one he had in five days.
Steve smiled at the sight of Bruces smile. He was proud of his team. "If you don't mind me asking, what did you do? While you were inprisioned?"

Bruce smile faded away and when Steve asked him. "Just sat there, wondering if I was able to come out soon. I tried to change into the Other Guy in there but......they put him down before I got the change. Like it was triggered or something. It'......it was horrible. I felt like a fucking animal in there."
Thor frowned, sad his friend had been treated so harshly. Steve let out an annoyed noise before speaking. "Sometimes, I forget how cruel humanity can be, then something like this happens, and it's like a slap in the face." Steve stood and paced a bit. "And you're not an animal, you're our friend."
The physicist sighed a little and tugged the blanket even more around himself. "We're here!" Clint called out.
Steve nodded, and looked at Bruce. "Since we're now on the wanted list of SHIELD, we made a personal homebase." The back door opened, and Steve exited the aircraft, leading the way.
Bruce tried to stand himself up as he follows him, still covering himself with the blanket.
Thor put a guiding arm around the smaller man, as the team walked through a long, and simple hallway.
There was a faint earthy smell, and the lack of any windows told Bruce that the base they were in was an underground one. The doctor didn't say a single word as the team led him down the hallway.
Steve stopped in front of a door, and turned to Bruce. "We do have two other people here, so don't be surprised." He then opened the door, reveiling Nick Fury and Pepper.
Bruce breathes in a little when he saw the two, noting they would be beyond angry at what happened.
Pepper kept herself quiet despite what had happened to Tony. She only heard a few informations about the Hulk protecting him but how he went into a come was a complete mystery to her.
Fury nodded towards Bruce. "I did try to keep you out of a cell Dr. Banner. The Council made a decision, even though it was a stupid-ass decision and I was electing to ignore it..."
"But you didn't have a choice?" Bruce finished him, his tone was stern.
Natasha placed her hand on the doctor's shoulder and said "Doctor Banner please. We're helping you here."
"No. They overruled me, and gave direct orders to the rest of SHIELD." Fury answered truthfully.
Bruce breathes in again, bitting the inside of his cheek. "Where is he now?"
"We built a medical room for him. He's down the hallway." Fury looked Bruce right in the eye. "Bruce, what happened?"
[Want a time to end this part! I may make a habit of this, who knows?
So what do you guys think happened? Did Hulk put Tony into a coma? Was it something in the air? Or maybe an attacker? Leave a comment on what you think happened. I would love to hear from you!

The Perks of Immortality
This story will no longer be updated. After living decades and dying hundreds of times, Kegan has learned that he has finally passed some test that the cruel spirit had given him. Now, Kegan has the ability to gain “perks” that can make his life much easier. He is looking forward to finally having an easy life with the new perks he has earned. Rules to keep me honest for the perk system: Spoiler: Spoiler 1. The purpose of perks is to help the MC live longer and do new things each life. 2. The perks can be unlocked by getting hurt or killed. 3. The perks can be unlocked by putting in a lot of effort that isn’t easily duplicated in a new life. 4. Perks are generally beneficial enhancements to the MC’s body. 5. Perk costs can be lowered with more impressive achievements to unlock them. 6. Perk costs can be lowered by repeated death or injury from something the perk protects against. 7. Perk costs are increased for quality of life improvements that don’t benefit survival. I want to avoid one of the pitfalls I see for other LitRPG stories where the game elements barely relate to the story, or offer very little information. If people are skipping over and not reading the perks then I'm doing things wrong. So I promise to try and make the perks interesting, sometimes humorous, informative, and relevant to the story.Cover art by http://dertypaws.com/

As it gained momentum, they called it a problem. Now, they call it a crime. But for nearly a half a million people, it's now their real home. Yearning. Escape. Duty. The reasons to go are many. Despite the criminalization of the Silvergating, people still seek out their ticket to Northworld. But for new Gaters Jasper Hill, Erika Haglund, Henry Esteban, Northworld has surprises in store. Not every rumor are false, not every conspiracy theory is stupid. When the veil lift for them, showing truths about Northworld that no one suspected, they may have a hard time making themselves heard. And being trusted may mean the difference between life or exile forever. Northworld is a litrpg story where people enter an actual world, submit to an RPG-type Interface, and discover an alternate reality. You could describe it as a reversible Isekai since people alternate between Earth and Northworld. The characters are usually casual about it, which means casual talk and the not-infrequent profanity. Four letter words dropped in conversation (or internal monologue). Warning: one potentially horrible theme and one implied sex scene. Book 1 is complete, as the title says. Book 2 is expected to start in 2022 (hopefully).

Am I The Only One Who Is Not Forced to Migrate Across Worlds....?
A random isekai adventure might not be random. Underlying conspiracies, not-so-kind world and most importantly two-faced characters. Only time can reveal the flaws of the so-called Migrators! *** I am rewriting the novel. All this time, I have honing my skills as a writer. As my first novel, this novel served as a self-reflection of how much I improved later on. This doesn't have the most unique of plots but as a first novel, I still have some aspirations and memories.
