《Science-Bros: the really long and twisty tale of Tony and Bruce.》The Introduction

Bruce brought his knees closer to his chest, looking around the dark room, or possibly prison, he was in. The scientist doesn't know if has been days or weeks being in his cell, but his reason being in there made no sense. From what he remember from being the Other Guy, all he did in the last battle was shield his teammate from the enemy firing at them, taking all the damage just to protect them. But someone must of gotten hurt or something because next thing he knows, Bruce was thrown in a dark cell by SHIELD who blame him for the damages and injuring a teammate with no food or water; just in his torn trousers. The lights suddenly lit up, blinding the doctor as he heard someone coming into the room.
Steve Rogers stood in the doorway, looking like a man who was glad that so far, everything was going according to their plan. "Dr. Banner. We're here to rescue you." He then rushed to the cell door, opening it with a key Natasha had aquired.
The doctor looked up to where Steve was at, a bit puzzled. "Wha-what?" he said to the super soldier quietly.
Steve looked at Bruce, and realized he didn't know what was going on. "How much were you told before you were wrongfully put in here?" Steve looked at the windowless room, furious at the treatment of the scientist.
Bruce shrugs slightly and said "They didn't really explain it that much except that it was mine and the Other Guys fault."
"Idiots... I'll explain everything once we're out of here." Steve pulled the door open, and gently helped Bruce stand up. Through the door, the sound of three gun shots could be heard.
Bruce flinched a little when heard the gun shots and turned his head to where the sound was coming from. "What the hell in going on?"

"We're not following orders." Steve said simply, leading him out of the room and down the hall. The style was that of the helicarrier's inside. "Phase three!" Steve yelled, and Thor ran up to them, Natasha and Clint followed close behind. "Any casulties?"
Thor shook his head. "Nay, none have been hurt. The shots were but a warning."
Natasha went over to the doctor's side and lead him down another hall. "We'll have to hurry. They'll send more if we stall." She warned them. Bruce was beyond confused on what was happening but didn't asked them any questions.
They got to a hanger bay, and into a jet, one of which looked similar to the one that they had used to transport Loki during the time he attacked Earth, before any agents showed up. "Clint, take us out of here." Steve kept a watchful eye out for any other jets that may try to follow them.
Clint nodded and headed over to the cock pit, getting the jet ready to take off. Natasha led Bruce to one of the seats and handed him a blanket to cover up. "Thanks." Bruce said quietly as he took it.
"How much of what has happened do you know Bruce?" Steve sat across from the scientist, while Thor stood to the side, his hammer hanging from around his hand.
Bruce looked up at them, his hands shaken slightly as he tugged the blanket around himself. "All I remembered was protecting one of you guys from the enemy. After that, SHIELD placed me in an underground cell with no food, water, spare clothes,...nothing but being trapped in the dark prison."
"You have not eaten in five days!?" Thor asked, shocked at the news. A clap of thunder could be heard outside of the jet.

"Calm down Thor. Is that everything?" Steve asked Bruce, concerned for his team members well being.
The physicist's shoulder hunched a little as he shook his head, but then his eyes widen from what Thor said. "I was kept down there for five days?"
Steve nodded. "During the fight, it seemed that most of the attacks were against Iron Man. He had lost power to the... thrusters I think... in his boots, and crashed to the ground. Hulk had stood over him, taking bullet after bullet, hit after hit, but didn't allow harm to Tony. By the time SHIELD had shown up to help, Hulk had smashed 90% of the enemy."
Bruce nodded slightly, now remembering that the Other Guy was protecting Tony in anyway possible. "Is....is he okay?"
[A/N: And CLIFFHANGER! EHEHEHEHE! Well, I bet you're wondering about what happens next. Don't worry, you'll find out. maybe. >:)
Nah, you will. I'm too nice to leave you hanging for long.

Re: Dragonize
After an unexpected turn of events, Drew must now survive in a world full of challenges with life-or-death stakes. Gone are the days when the biggest problems to face were awkward small-talk at physics department luncheons or mountains of lab work; this former physicist is now adrift in an unfamiliar land without any equipment. Now, Drew's only tool (if it can be called that) is a System, which provides constant reminders of all of the things that are still out of reach for a low-level being who's just arrived in a new world. Luckily, Drew has one powerful asset when taking on the challenges of this new world: surviving violent conflict is a lot easier when you have the power of a dragon at your disposal. Still, Drew has always considered violence a last resort. Why turn to fists (or claws) when a bit of quiet consideration might expose a better path forward? Maybe a life of quiet contemplation is still within reach for this former academic researcher. ...Or maybe not. It probably won't be a life of bloodless pacifism. Additional information for those who wish to calibrate their expectations (I'm adding this based on a few comments I received from readers who feel that the story is not what they expected from a dragon-themed story): Re: Dragonize is not a power fantasy -- or at least, it's not intended to be one. Re: Dragonize is a progression fantasy starting with a protagonist who must start at the bottom (or close to it), and work gradually upwards, making incremental progress with plenty of setbacks along the way. The protagonist, as someone coming from the world of academia, tends to be cautious, methodical, and contemplative. As such, expect this story to contain more than a few digressions as the main character takes the time to pontificate on a variety of topics ranging from Newtonian physics and horology to the nature of existence and the ethical dilemmas associated with being an obligate carnivore.
