《Byakuya X Reader》🕊Hiding the Truth🕊

Me and Kyoko went to our dorm rooms and quickly washed and changed to get rid of the blood and trash smell. Honeslty, it was one of the worst smells I had ever smelt.
I walked into the cafeteria again, using a towel on my damp hair as I sat next to my friends.
'So, how are you going to end this?' Celeste smiled as she held a cup of tea, sipping it slowly, her silver finger ring glinting in the light.
'We have to get Monokuma to agree to hold a trial to re do Hifumi's trial,' I explained, leaning against the back of my chair as I rested my legs on top of the table.
'How do we get the evidence on the mastermind? I mean.. it could be one of us,' Leon suggested.
'I don't think it's one of us,' I pulled out a notebook. 'The locked rooms might hold some clues. If we can get Monokuma to open them, we might be set,' I flicked through the pages before mumbling 'might want to think about who isn't here,'
'What was that?' Kyoko walked over to me, her silvery purple hair was already dry and flawless as always.
'We might want to think about the little clues we found,' I lied and suggested something new, shrugging slightly.
'The little clues? You may have a point...' Celeste frowned. 'What was that thing Sakura said? The remnants? What are they?'
'The... remnants?' Kyoko muttered. 'Alter Ego mentioned something about them to me. He said they were behind the events that lead to us being trapped here... that's not all,' She sighed.
'What else?' Mondo looked up, his eyes were still red and puffy from his tears.
'Alter Ego said the mastermind had hidden one of them among us, but I didn't ask who it was, I believed maybe they had died already. But, we can't be sure,' I felt my heart stop.
'One of the people who was behind this could be here?' Mondo pounded his fists together. 'I'll knock them out before they can do anything else!' I shuddered at the thought of someone as strong as him punching me. I may be a killer but my guns are more powerful than my muscles.

'Wait, Wait, Wait! I made such an effort to make them apart of the game, I don't want you to kill them! I'll kill them myself when the time comes!' Monokuma appeared from no where. I gritted my teeth as he spoke.
'Hold on, how can we be sure they know what they are?' Kyoko pointed out. 'I know something happened to our memories, whats to say nothing happened to theirs?'
Monokuma started to laugh. 'They didn't remember at first, but, I've been slowly feeding them with information and now I know for sure they know!'
'Monokuma. If you already know, we want to hold a trail to redo Hifumi's murder! We will not only solve the murder but we will drive out the mastermind!' I announced, yelling at the robotic bear.
'Fine by me. Just don't go crying when you find out the truth. Oh, and for the purposes of the trial, I'll let you into the locked rooms, out of the goodness of my heart!' He laughed before he vanished.
'I guess that's good. But, we should hurry and investigate before we run out of time,' Celeste smiled.
'Yep, we should hurry,' I nodded.
'How about we all investigate in groups of two? Leon and Mondo, Celeste and Kyoko and Me and Y/N,' Byakuya suggested, putting his arm around me.
'Sounds good,' Leon and Mondo agreed.
We all worked out what to do and split up. Me and Byakuya headed right to the 4th floor to investigate the previously locked rooms.
I slowly opened the Data Processing room, afraid of the other side.
I sighed as I realised what this meant. Junko was filming this and broadcasting it to the world. She Making the entire world fall into chaos using us as her puppets.
'What is this? These are cameras of the school.. and this is... its us,' Byakuya looked shocked.
'I think... it's a live broadcast... this is... a reality tv show...' I looked down.
'That's... the mastermind is a truly sick person,' He scowled.
I walked over to the door with Monokuma's face on, only to be stopped by him.

'Nope! You can go anywhere but here!' He stopped me.
'What? Are you in there?' I crouched down to his level before whispering 'Junko,'
'What's in there is my business! Not yours!' He disappeared.
'That bear really makes me mad,' I sighed.
'Let's go.. this room makes me feel... watched,' He frowned.
'Yeah..'
We explored the headmasters office along with the second floor dormitory and other rooms. However, I did see Byakuya picking something up at some point. I didn't see what it was though.
'I'm going to go to it,' I waved at him 'I'll be right back!' I ran off, the shoes echoing in the halls as the impacted the floor, pushing me along.
I quickly slipped into the room before turning him on.
'Did you tell any of them about what I am?' I typed, holding my breath.
'No, but I found some information on the mastermind, I managed to print it out, it's next to me,' I saw a piece of paper. 'It may come in handy,'
'Thank you,' I quickly read it through.

Even though this could expose me, it was useful evidence against the mastermind, Junko. Anything useful is good, even if it'll hurt me.
After this trial, I know they won't see me the same.
'I'm back,' I walked over to Byakuya.
'Good. We need to investigate the 5th floor classroom, something must've happened there. Then, let's check the art room,' He grabbed my hand, pulling me along.
I hope that this goes well. I'm not the person I was when this started. But, if I can't tell anyone who it is, how can I be sure they'll figure it out.
Byakuya, my lover. Celeste, my best friend, Kyoko, Mondo and Leon, my friends. Yes, they were smart, but can they do this? Can I choose to be silent about what I did?
I'm responsible... aren't I? Thats stupid, of course I am.
I took away Kyoko's dad. I've hurt her. My friends are holding Sakura's family hostage and possibly more. My friends are out there killing people and spreading despair.
If I didn't tell Junko where Izuru Kamakura was... would this have happened?
No, she would have done it without him, but, I still played a part.
But, I need to stop focusing on what I did. I have to fight this fight, if I can't do this investigation, how can I help them?

'You promise you'll always be there to protect me.. big sis?' My brother cried.
'Of course I will. I'll protect you from all the big bad monsters,' I held him close 'I won't let anything happen to you,'
~꧁꧂~
I don't even know where you are... What if Junko did something to you... what if... what if...
'Y/N?' Byakuya rapped me on the shoulder.
'Huh?' I looked up at him.
'You were gazing off into space,' He chuckled slightly.
'Oh sorry... I was thinking about my brother, just wondering if he's okay, that's all,' I shrugged.
'If he's anything like you, I'm sure he'll be fine,' He pulled me into a hug. I smiled as I hugged him back.
My little brother... mum didn't like you that much, but that's alright. I'll always love you. Even if you took your dad's surname. Even if mum says you're 'too beautiful' and should be hidden from the world. Ill see you again...

As obstinate as Han can be, with all of humanity edging slowly towards annihilation, will he truly be able to avoid becoming entangled in the affairs of the deities fighting over his new universe?
