《Byakuya X Reader》🍯Let the game begin 🍯

As we entered the room, we were faced by a round circle of podiums, one for each of us, including the deceased Chihiro. It could fit 16 people in total.
(A/N note, Y/N was not meant to be part of the class, it was a last minute change before the killing game started, so that is why there is only 16 seats)g
Each seat had a name on it and we all gathered to our places. We could all easily see each other from this point. It seemed to be like this so we could easily all view one another when speaking.
Monokuma started to ramble on about how the class trial works, but I already knew what I had to do, I have to find who didn't have their tool kit. One of the boys must have left their tool kit at the scene. As soon as he stopped the tension rose and the trial began.
As soon as I could I burst into action 'It was one of the boys! They used the toolkit to get the weapon and left it at the scene, whoever is missing there's is the killer!' I exclaimed, crossing my arms.
'Wait, really? Can It be that simple?' Makoto scratched his chin. 'Are you sure it was?'
'Yes, so show your toolkits!' I slammed my hands on the table as all the boys hesitated before they took out their tool kits.
'As you can see, we all have our kits, so clearly you are mistaken,' Byakuya retorted as my face fell.
'What... but me and Celeste found a tool kit at the crime scene! This doesn't make any sense!' I protested, did someone have two sets? How could there be an extra? Did Monokuma do this to throw us off?
'Monokuma, did you do this to throw us off?!' I pointed at him, fury burning in my eyes before I was interrupted.
'Well, actually, I discovered something interesting while investigating his body,' Kyoko began to explain. 'I looked at every ounce of his body to get any clues I could, I would have expected this if you, Y/N, but it seemed you were too grief-stricken at his death,'
'Um, Kyoko, don't you mean her?' Makoto pointed out.
'No, I mean, his. Chihiro Fujisaki was a boy,' She continued 'I found out while investigating,'
'She was a what?!' Ishimaru exclaimed, his hair standing up.
'Yes, you heard me, she was really a he. As to his reasons for this, I do not know,'

'So, the tool kit was Chihiro's?' Leon's crossed his arms.
'Exactly, so the killer could also be female and just simply left the kit there to pin the blame on one of the boys,' The violet haired girl pointed out. 'Everyone here is a suspect so far,'
I had to admit, I was impressed. She was very thorough in her investigation, maybe she would be helpful in the future. I don't getting on her bad side would bring anything good.
But, as I looked around the room at everyone, I realised we were back to square one. I should've investigated the body further, how didn't I notice he was a he? Where do we begin now? What do we even have to go off anymore?
'I suggest we start from the cause of death and work our way towards the killer, so, who wants to start?' Celeste's eyes darted around the courtroom.
'I... I'll say,' I sighed before composing myself 'The cause of death was a blow to the head by a pipe,'
'A pipe? But where did it come from?' Mondo pointed at me, I felt slightly threatened.
'It came from Chihiro's bathroom, it was removed with the toolkit,' I explained.
'The killer must have reasonable strength to hit someone over the head with a pipe and kill them in one blow,' Mondo pounded his fists together.
'I guess so,' said hifumi.
'And where is this getting us? The killer must have strength, does that really lower it down that much?' Byakuya Looked down his nose at us.
'It rules out a few people such as Makoto and Toko, they're too weak to hold something like that,' Mondo pointed out.
'W-what's your problem?' Toko pointed at him while tugging at her braids in distress.
'Enough, we need to focus,' Kyoko ordered us all.
'What about the time of death? Do we know when it was?' Mukuro piped up.
'When I read the Monokuma file, I couldn't find anything about the time,' Sakura examined the file once more to check her facts.
'Then we can assume it took place between the motive announcement and the morning when we found the body,' I twisted my fingers together, my nerves felt like they were going to burst. I know I didn't do it, but I still felt guilty. I was still worse than the killer.
'So it was between 10pm and 8am, none of us can provide alibis, correct?' Taka frowned.

Silence fell over the room, we were all stuck. 'Hey, Y/N, didn't you find something in the trash room?' Sayaka looked over at me.
'Oh, yes, I did actually! I found a blanket with stains of blood. Chihiro must've had it when he was killed,'
'Ah, I see! But, where does that get us? I remeber giving some blankets to him last night, but he must've had the blue one with him when he died,' Hina bit her lip in frustration.
'Well indeed Miss Asahina! That is what Miss Y/N just said,' Hifumi pushed up his glasses.
'Wait, Hina, can you repeat that?' Celeste looked concerned as something clicked in her brain.
'Huh? What is it, Celeste?' I asked, I didn't see anything wrong with her statement.
'Y/N, you said you found a blanket with blood stains, you never said what colour,' Makoto pointed out.
'So what? I gave her the blanket?' Aoi protested.
'You gave her multiple of different colours, how do you know that one was blue?' Celeste giggled.
'Hina... answer her... please, you couldn't have,' I trembled. Hina did this? Hina was the one we were going to condemn? 'We were all friends... so why..?' I never imagined a friend would turn into a killer like I did.
Hina stood there, fear causing her to shake, her eyes started to water as they darted around the room. She clutched onto the desk in front of her, fear implanted into her core. 'I... I'm sorry..,' Tears streamed down her cheeks. She chocked on her words as she spoke. 'I saw the... opportunity and I... I... took it,' she lowered her head.
'Well then, it seems we have our killer,' Byakuya stated as he glared down at the girl.
'Well then, Monokuma, what now, we found the killer,' Celeste looked at the small bear.
'Now, you all vote for who dun it! Then, we move onto the punishment!' He grinned cheerfully, malice in his eyes.
'P..punishment...?' Hina murmured.
'To put it more simply, execution,' He spoke in a monotone voice and silence fell on the room like a thick sheet of snow.
'Hina,' I gulped back my fear 'Why..?' I looked at her through watery and blurred eyes. I didn't hate her for it, she wanted to live. But, to know someone like her was capable of murder scared me.
'I was delivering the blankets and then Chihiro asked for my help... he wanted me to help him fix the blockage in the pipe... he gave me the toolkit... I took the pipe off the wall... and...' she started to choke. 'I hit him with it... I don't know what came over me,' As her knees wobbled and gave way she collapsed still clutching onto the stand in front of her, sobs escaping from her mouth.
Monokuma started to laugh manically. 'What a sad story! Now then, I'm getting bored of all these tears! Time to move onto the punishment! Press the button to vote!' He sounded awfully cheerful.
I felt dreadful as I placed my vote for Hina, I was sending my friend to her death. Her blood was on my hands. I watched as Monokuma brought out a casino machine and pulled the lever on the side. I watched little faces of all of us in the room roll by before I finally landed on Hina.
The silence felt like sharp knives as we all stood there, faces down while Hina let out sobs as she clung to the rail.
'Hm, you don't want to say anything else?' Monokuma looked confused 'You're never going to see your friend again, you know,' he laughed.
'Hina...' Sakura started 'I'm sorry I wasn't there to convince you not to do it,' she sighed as Hina sniffled.
'It's o...okay,' she tried to smile. 'Just please... Sakura... don't give in to it,' she looked at everyone, the pain in her eyes was visible to all as Monokuma pulled out a judges hammer and slammed a button.
A metal chain launched towards Hina as it closed around her neck, dragging her backwards and then dropping her down into a small glass tank full of water. The words 'water illusion show' Displayed briefly on a sign before the execution reached its peril.
Monokuma stood at the top of the tank, wearing a top hat and a cape. As he waved a magical wand a curtain fell over the tanaka before unveiling to reveal 6 sharks surrounding Hina. As he waved the wand again, the curtain fell and the sound of water gurgling and splashes could be heard before it unveiled again. This time all that was left was 6 shark, with blood stained teeth and small pieces of fabric and flesh left in the tank.
Aoi Asahina was dead.
