Theresa stood in the shower, letting the water fall on her, as she finally got to let realization sink in.

So much has gone on in the past four days that Theresa hasn't had any time to process any of it.

First her mother decided to leave her and her father, with no explanation what so ever, then her father refused to talk or leave the living room except to go to the bathroom and/or grab a beer. The last time Theresa heard her father talk was when he called Charlie to ask him to take care of her. Next thing she knew, Theresa was on a plane to Forks, Washington, then was picked up by Charlie, thrown into a new high school in the middle of the semester, and lastly met the Cullen's.

Theresa took a deep breath, letting everything that has happened in the past few days sink in.

The deep breath didn't help Theresa calm down though, because she began to cry.

All of her insecurities came crashing down at once, "Why did she just leave?" and "Am I not good enough?" was just some of the questions Theresa asked herself as she cried in the shower.

"What did I do wrong?" Was the last thing she asked herself before she realized that there was nothing she could do to stop her tears, except let it out.

Theresa began to sob as she slowly sat herself down on the floor of the shower.
