Gemini
"Oh, Aries, didn't expect to see you here-"
Libra pushed Sagittarius out of the way, walking right up to our table. Queen Curls was definitely in a temper. "Okay, whose idea was it to sneak out of school?" She slammed a fist onto the table top, causing Leo to jump. It was hilarious, really, how a 6'4 quarterback was absolutely terrified of Libra. Not that the girl wasn't scary-from martial arts duels to prank wars, Libra was the top dog. "Uh... It was Gemini!" Leo laughed nervously, pointing toward me. "Hey, quit lying, everyone knows it was you-"
"Save it, Gemini." Libra pulled a stool from a table, promptly sitting down on it. "I know it was Scorpio who set all this up. It's a good thing he's not with you guys right now." She sighed. "Also, why have you brought Cancer into this?" Cancer smiled slightly. "Uh... The teacher was making fun of me, so..." Libra smiled reassuringly. "It's okay, I get that you needed a break." She stood up, arms folded across her chest. "I'll let you off the hook this once. I'm bringing Sarge in." Aries reached across the table, grabbing Libra's bracelet by the charm.
"No. I'm not looking at his jerk face for the rest of my-" Libra shook Aries off. "Look, nothing's going to change unless you face the problem. Trust me, I learnt that the hard way." I knew this for a fact-whenever Libra got cornered at a party, her first instinct was to run away. She probably acted the same way whenever she got caught up in drama at school. Aries opened her mouth to protest when Libra called for Sagittarius. "C'mon, let's give them some privacy, you guys."
We all walked out of the shop, leaving Aries and Sagittarius to talk it out. I decided to watch them through a window instead-I did, after all, take Lip Reading at school.
"Why did you run off, Sarge?" Aries questioned.
"Look, Aries, you know how much commitment scares me."
This I could relate to. It was daunting, putting your time, love and devotion into one person. I mean, commitment meant holding your end on promises and offering your unwavering affection and support to a person. For a person who changed their mind so easily like myself, it wasn't an easy thing. Besides, in my opinion, it was better to just live life in the moment. It was my motto: What happens at the party stays at the party.

"I get that, but I thought you'd be willing to give it a try for me!" Aries exclaimed.
"Aries, you don't understand. When I looked into your eyes, I saw what the future could look like if you and I ended up becoming an official item. It was horrible. All the plans I had to cancel, the people I had to leave behind, the never-ending pressure of being committed to someone else... and that was just in my head. It would be ten times worse in real life."
Aries moved closer to Sagittarius, taking his hands in her own. "It was all in your head. None of that is going to happen in real life."
"But how do I know that? If I get myself in, there's no getting out-"
Aries placed a finger to Sagittarius' lips. "Look, I know you're scared and unsure about what this is going to be like. So I'll make you a deal of some sort." Sagittarius nodded as Aries' finger came off his lips. "We'll start officially dating. If you like it after a month, we'll stay together. If it's too much for you to handle, we'll break up. No hard feelings. Okay?"
Sagittarius smiled. "I'm down."
"Then I suppose we have something to go and tell everyone."
.....
"Okay, so we're officially a couple!" Sagittarius announced. Everyone started cheering (myself included.) Well, I was cheering up until they kissed. God, love is gross. "Get a room, you two!" I shouted. Leo stifled a laugh, earning himself a smack on the head from Libra. "Well, at least something came out of you skipping. But Scorpio is still dead when I see him." I smirked as Scorpio walked across the path to Libra. "Miss me, babe?" Libra turned, punching Scorpio's chest. Hard.
"Ow, that hurt!" Libra growled. "It was meant to. You let them skip!" Scorpio shot Libra a lazy grin. "I didn't skip, though, did I?" Scorpio earned himself a further punch from Libra. The muscled rebel winced, clutching his chest. "You just got served!" Leo whooped. "Damn straight." I bumped fists with Leo, smirking. "Well, while this is all great, we should probably head back." Scorpio nodded, putting an arm around his girlfriend. Leo looked at the couple, a small, sad smile on his face as he listened to their conversation.
Personally, I thought Leo ought to step up and tell Libra how he really felt instead of hanging back like a loser. He would never know how she felt about him if he didn't work up the courage to confess. But then, again, Libra was dating Scorpio. God, relationships were so messy. But I couldn't deny the fact that Scorpio and Libra made commitment look so appealing. Even now, they were walking perfectly in sync, laughing about nothing at all. Even though they had the occasional fight and weren't exactly the two most similar people in the room, Libra and Scorpio were the definition of a perfect couple.

I would never say it out loud, but those two were my OTP.
"Hey, you guys, the sun's setting-look at how pretty it is!" Aquarius called. The pastel pinks of the sunset interlaced with the vibrant orange and underplayed red streaks of light sparkled like a freshly painted canvas under studio lights. "Not as pretty as you," Scorpio mused to Libra. The 5'7 teenager rolled her eyes. "Fine, be like that-don't accept any compliments I give you-" Libra silenced Scorpio with a kiss, right there and right then. PDA. Psh.
Even though the kiss was really sweet and everything, it was hard not to notice Leo's heart breaking right there and then. He couldn't tear his gaze away from Libra and Scorpio. The two broke apart, Libra still smiling, watching the sunset hand-in-hand. "Guys, I'm going to go-I'm not feeling that good." Leo excused himself. "You sure everything's okay?" Libra asked, still holding her boyfriend's hand. Leo's gaze slipped down to their intertwined hands.
He looked up to face Libra, his expression carved from stone. "Yes, I'm sure." Thrusting his hands in his pockets, Leo walked off to his car.
Once he had sped off, Libra turned to face us. "Hey, what happened to him?" I groaned, tired of Libra's ignorance. Someone had to say something before it was too late. "Libra, you're a dolt! Leo likes you. Like likes you." Libra let out an awkward laugh. "Don't be silly, he's just a friend-" I brought myself closer to Libra until I was inches from her face. "I'm sure that's not what you were thinking at the hospital."
Libra sighed. "Look, he said he liked me, but he was on really powerful meds, and-" Scorpio stepped in front of Libra, calm in a deadly way. "Libra, what did you tell him?"
Libra took a deep breath, steadying herself. "I said... I said I liked him back. I wrote it down on a note and put my bracelet on the top. But somehow the note blew onto the ground and, well, Leo never got it."
Scorpio gulped, his eyes brimming with... tears? "God, Libra, I have no right to be upset, and I know that. I'm the one who was rude to you ever since we broke it off last year. It... wasn't the best way to handle my feelings. Obviously you met another guy, a girl as pretty as you, and it just had to be the guy whose back I hurt-" Libra wiped the tears from Scorpio's eyes, taking his hands in hers. "Look, Scorpio, what I did at the hospital... It was a desperate act.
"I tired to convince myself that I had feelings for Leo when I really think we're just friends. And I did it so I could get my mind off how much I was thinking of you." She looked down at her feet, embarrassed. "I used him, Scorpio. And now that's on me." She turned, running toward the parking lot where her ride was waiting. She closed the limo door behind her, her tears visible from so far away.
"I know this is, like, really bad timing, but when Libra said 'just a friend', my head instantly went to Miraculous..." I attempted to ease the mood. "Oh yeah, the love square!" Aquarius exclaimed. "Honestly, I ship Lukanette more." Cancer seemed happier too. Scorpio looked dumbfounded. "If I had just accepted what Libra had said to me in the first place about breaking up after the incident, none of this would be happening. Now she thinks she used Leo and she's blaming her self and-" Sagittarius walked over to Aries, putting an arm around him.
"Look, I had my doubts about you from day one-"
"Sarge, don't push it-" Aries warned.
"No, wait. I had my doubts about you, but you care about Leebs so much! You're the perfect guy for her, and she knows it." Scorpio smiled. "Okay. I'm going to go cheer Leebs up." He ran off to his motorcycle, rushing to get his gear on. "Well, that's that, I guess," Aries shrugged. "Hey, let's go get dinner at a restaurant. You know, to celebrate your relationship," Aquarius gushed. "I like that idea." We all hurried to the parking lot, strapping up for a dinner.
