Aries
We walked away from Capricorn, Libra following suit. That guy was crazy. A nut case. He seriously thought he had the right to barge in and call us all stupid, but at the same time, I worried that it was all people thought of our group. For one thing, Capricorn's outburst had proven that there were people out there who didn't like us. People who thought we were just brainless populars. That we were all flash and no substance. I hated myself so much for thinking about it, but I couldn't stop myself.
"Hey, don't worry about what that jerk said." Libra put an arm around me, looking surprisingly relaxed after what had gone down. "He's never going to mess with us again." The tone of hostility in Libra's voice didn't take me by surprise. Even though she seemed like an easy-going, simple person, the girl could put up a fight. I'd seen her take on people twice her size in Taekwondo (she had a black belt) and also leave those with an ego three times bigger than hers in tears by the time she was done with them.
But I knew what else that tone indicated. Libra was at war with Capricorn. She was ready to obliterate him for what he had done to us all. Even though I liked to put up a facade and act brave, the real me wasn't very brave at all. Libra was the exact opposite-she didn't act brave, but she was the strongest one out of us all. After all, she was the only one who had the courage to stand up to Capricorn. And she was brave enough to go through with whatever threat she'd given Capricorn just as we were leaving.
Sagittarius came up to both of us, throwing an arm around each of our shoulders. "Well. Anyone up for a Brooklyn 99 marathon tonight?"

"OOH, TERRY LOVES YOGURT!" Libra and Sagittarius chorused. I rolled my eyes, turning to the impossibly loud duo. "Shut up! You're ruining it!" Libra wrinkled up her nose in an imitation of me. "Shut up! You're ruining it!" Sagittarius echoed in a whiny, high-pitched voice that was intended to mock mine. "Do that again and I throw my popcorn in your face." I tilted my caramel popcorn toward Sagittarius, arching my brows. He stuck his hands up, widening his eyes to make himself look to cute to be mad at.
Unfortunately, his idiocy worked on me. I sighed, popping a handful of popcorn into my mouth and wondering how I'd managed to fall for such a comedian. It really was quite amazing, how I'd never found mysterious Scorpio or charming Leo crush-worthy. To me, they were like two older brothers-Scorpio being the introverted, deep one and Leo being the guy whose socks managed to stink up a freshly cleaned house. Somehow, I found myself drawn to Sagittarius' adorable clumsiness. The way his dimple perked up when he shot someone that sideways grin. His high-pitched, loud laugh.
Sagittarius made me feel comfortable and safe. And honestly, what more could you want in a guy? "YOU GO, GINA!" I whacked Libra with my arm, earning myself an odd giggle, followed by a huge yawn. "Well, I'm going to leave you two to watch on without me-I'm just too sleepy." She eased herself out of Sarge's grip, making her way up the stairs to get changed. Sagittarius moved closer to me, throwing an arm around my shoulders casually, like he would with Leebs. Except it wasn't casual for me-I was aware of every spot where his skin was touching mine.
To make matters worse, he pressed himself right against me. I could feel my body going stiff as it came into contact with his, a hot red blush slowly but surely creeping onto my cheeks. "Just you and me, huh?" He bent down, his face centimetres from mine, those warm brown eyes twinkling mischievously. He grinned, the dimple popping out of his cheek as he reached down to take some of my popcorn. "Hands off!" I shoved him with my elbow, which, in turn, only brought his face closer to mine.

"Oh, look, you're all red, Aries." He laughed. "Is it the show? Or... something else?" He's flirting with you. Flirting. With. You. "Aries, you there?" His nose was half a centimetre from mine, leaving me dumbfounded. It was like all my bravado had disappeared along with the space between Sarge and I. "Oh, my god. So flustered." He was so close our noses were touching. "Maybe this will make it better?" Unaware of what was happening, I felt Sagittarius' lips on mine, pulling into a soft, sweet kiss.
Yes, I had been kissed before. But nothing compared to this. It was like all my dreams coming true and then being put under a filter. Pure, beautiful happiness. I felt myself leaning in, not wanting to let go of the emotions I was feeling. The world melted away and all of my concerns disappeared until it was only the two of us and the moment. It stopped time, and nothing could interrupt us-
"Honey-OH MY GOD!"
It was Venus, standing right there in a Gucci dress, a bucket of popcorn lying at her feet.
