The wind tousled my hair, making me feel like I was nestled in the clouds. My arms were around Scorpio's waist, fitting snugly like they had before. "Well, Leebs, hate to break it to you, but we're almost back." I frowned, shuffling closer to Scorpio. "That sucks." He chuckled. "Sure does-here, let's park and I'll get you some breakfast." He pulled into a mall carpark, taking a ticket. He swept off his motorbike in one swift motion, holding out his hand for me.

"Chivalry's long gone, Scorpio," I laughed, swinging off the bike. "Oh, okay then." He threw an arm around me. "This isn't... long gone, is it?" He kissed my cheek gently, making me smile. "No, not at all. So where you taking me?" I asked. "You'll see," he replied cryptically, walking toward an ATM. I pulled my phone out of my bag, gasping when I realised that I had promised Leo we'd meet up after I went to Virgo's.

I remembered the half-hour I spent putting together an outfit to impress him. I was going back and forth between a simple athleisure ensemble and a dress with a jean jacket when I saw the romper out of the corner of my eye. I remembered holding that romper close, inhaling the faint scent of the varnish Scorpio used on his bike, before slipping it on and smiling, thinking about Scorpio.

I remembered how my feelings for Scorpio had pushed through last night. Every logical thought I'd had was suddenly gone when he slipped his hand into mine, the memories threatening to make me collapse. The kiss we'd shared wasn't impulse-it was alot of pent-up feelings I was finally able to release. "Close your eyes." I shut my eyes, allowing Scorpio to guide me through the mall.

"Okay, you can open your eyes now." I looked around, the sight of a mixed berry smoothie and pancakes causing me to squeal. "Oh my god, you brought me to Margie's?" Margie's was my favourite cafe. It was established in 1924 by a chef called Raymond Phillips, who decided to open up the cafe in memory of Margie, his deceased sister. His love for his sister had driven him to pursue his passion and open the place, and it had become a legacy now.

I remembered the mornings I'd spent at this very cafe with Scorpio, sipping on a smoothie and talking about everything and nothing at the same time. Just being there with him again felt so special. "Take a seat, Leebs. " Scorpio sat on a stool opposite the one I took, sipping his triple-shot espresso. I wrinkled my nose at him. "How do you drink triple shot coffee and manage to stay awake?" Scorpio laughed. "I dunno, Leebs-this one's still a bit sweet for me." I rolled my eyes at Scorpio, who took a sip of his coffee before setting it down.

He took my hand, smiling, his eyes sparkling like two precious gemstones in the buttery sunshine. "I'm so glad you're giving me a second chance. I really do love you... never forget that. I want you to be happy, and if at any point I'm making you unhappy, leave me." My eyes widened. "I know I can be a bit... aggressive at times," Scorpio admitted. "But I'm going to try and change. For you." I smiled, happiness flooding through my body. "I'm going to start by coming back to school. I'll be the new kid."

He looked out the window, almost as if thinking about the possibilities ahead. "Then we can graduate together... you'll write a book, just like you've always dreamt of doing, and I'll be by your side when you have hordes of fans screaming your name." I chuckled. "How can you be so sure everything's going to turn out okay?" Scorpio gripped my hand tighter. "Because I'm with you. Everything's okay when we're together."

We walked out of Margie's, Scorpio teasing me for how I'd asked the cashier for a take-away cup for my smoothie.

"Well, I didn't know he thought I was flirting with him..." Scorpio snorted. "That guy was going to ask for your number!" I wrinkled my nose yet again at Scorpio. "Honestly. I said excuse me, smiled, and then asked KINDLY for a take-away cup." Scorpio smirked. "You said, and I quote exactly: "Hi, I loved the smoothie today. You're such a good chef! I just really wanted a take-away cup because I didn't finish my smoothie... It's too good to leave behind. You know, because you made it so amazing!" And then you shot him a smile. And then he was about to ask for your number.

"I saved you, Leebs." I rolled my eyes. "Sure, keep living in whatever fantasy world you've found yourself." Scorpio laughed. "Well, let's head back then, Scorpio." I took his hand, walking to the car park. "Okay then." I got onto the bike, my hands around Scorpio's waist as we zoomed off into the distance.
