Shadow II
Yuliana Essie appeared in a helicopter. It approached the four hostages as Yuliana lend out a hand to them when the door opened. Only a weak King Philio and Grand Duchess Artemis successfully got on. Moon and Blue still stood on the ground. As the helicopter went away, a figure jumped from it. It was Crystal.
"Kiyaaah!" she screamed, landing on the ground. "Blue! Moon!"
"Crys!" shouted Blue. "You're here?!"
"That girl," Crystal's thumb pointed to a person behind Moon. She turned. It was Platina. "Princess!"
"More people are coming," Sinnoh's princess informed. She threw a shuriken at a guard, successfully getting him in the heart. Crystal launched her lasso, capturing three and throwing them out of consciousness. Blue threw two slightly broken daggers, killing two and one of the fallen bodies knocked another guard out. Moon punched a guard and slid, kicking another guard of her feet.
"There's too many!" Crystal yelled. "We gotta move!"
"Wait!" called out a voice. The girls turned, seeing Sun approaching them.
"What?" asked Blue.
"Let me guide you out of here," he said. "I know a way out."
"Sun!" yelled Polarri. "Come back here!"
"You're going to just listen to him, aren't you?" asked Moon. "You're a spy!"
The boy quickly planted a kiss on her cheek and then took a step back. "Maybe I am just going to listen to him if you won't listen to me," Sun hanged his head, not letting her see his eyes. "Besides, I wasn't planning on helping him catch you."
Moon didn't respond. Sun turned around and walked away from them. Blue dragged the raven-haired marchioness out of the cave with Crystal and Platina. Connie Essie appeared at the entrance of the cave and smiled at the sight of the four girls. "Hey."
"Hi, Constance," said Platina. "Where's your sister?"
"Somewhere in the mid-air," answered Connie. "Don't worry. She's coming." But then, a helicopter they've never seen before landed beside her. A familiar face appeared as the door opened.
"Gold?!"
"Surprise, Crys." Silver hopped out of the helicopter with with a Proteam Omega cap. "Thanks for following up on merchandise, Crys."

She gave him a genuine smile. "You're welcome, Silver. Glad to have you here."
"Hey!" shouted Gold. "What 'bout me?"
"Oh! Yes!" snapped Crystal. "Happy to see you too!"
Gold gasped. "I came all this way!"
"Enough bickering," commanded Blue. "We must be on the move." The six (Gold didn't get out of the helicopter) of them got inside. Moon sat next to Crystal next to the window. They all sat in silence, except for the Johto trio.
"Alola looks so cool!" said Gold. "I want to come here for vacation! Think of the same, Crys?"
"Mhm-m," sounded Crystal.
"Right, Silver?"
"Sure."
"You two are no fun."

Sun Taiyono stared down at Polarri. The man was lying on the ground, looking up at the boy. Suddenly, the stones stopped falling in mid-air. Polarri desperately held out his hand.
"S-S-Sun.. help.. me."
Every living thing stopped moving. Time stopped around the two figures. The universal force stopped it all for them. Moon looked down from the helicopter and the cherry blossom's petals flew away. The clouds froze and hope fell.
Sun did not take his hand.
And time returned.
Stones fell, clouds rushed, and the petals escaped. The cave fell apart and so did Polarri's emotionless face. He screamed at the top of his lungs at Sun.
Traitor! You are a traitor!
I helped you kill the man who have killed your parents! I helped you survive! I helped you live!
Polarri's words brought Sun crashing down onto his knees and into tears. The reminder of having blood on his hands swelled him forever. A gentle and motherly hand was placed on his shoulder. He glanced over his shoulder.
Grand Duchess Artemis placed her other hand on the ground, releasing a force of the celestial bodies. The power pushed the rocks away, not letting them fall on Sun.
"M-Miss Lumanlan?!"
"Sun," she began. "Don't act so surprised. I owe your parents big time."
Yuliana Essie and King Philio were behind her. Yuliana marched over to Polarri. "Where is this dimension you speak of?! Where?! You and those lying Novarros told me that my father could be there!"
Polarri snickered. "Oh, Yuliana. There's no such thing. You just simply got caught in our words."
"What..?" Yuliana took a step back.
"The gate we mentioned is of the beginning of a new era. This dimension is where we would have greater power for this corrupt world."

Sun threw a rock at his former boss. "You tricked me too! You said this was about eternal life to me! This was ever only about you!"
"The Novarros promised that the celestial bodies would respect us if we took over the Lumanlans. The Grand Duchess seems to have the power.."
"Power chooses you, not the throne," said King Philio.
"Then, I'll make it choose me!" screamed Polarri. "I'll make it choose me!"
Suddenly, a wave of water crashed into Polarri. Blue, Crystal, and Platina appeared along with it. Platina and Yuliana fought off more of Polarri's henchmen. Crystal flung his henchmen against the wall with her lasso, making them fall unconscious. Blue threw daggers everywhere. Artemis fled with her father. Astrid and Evan tried fleeing themselves.
They were stopped by Moon. She fired arrows at them faster than ever before. Alola's marchioness tripped Kalos's grand duke and stabbed Astrid's foot with an arrow. "Agh!" raged Astrid from pain.
"Moon!" shouted Sun. She didn't look at him. Lighting an arrowheads on fire, she shot it in the air. Then, a helicopter appeared. They got the signal. Artemis and Moon's grandfather got in.
Moon sighed with relief. Behind her, Crystal swung her lasso and Yuliana punched a Novarro in his private part on accident. Blue used her shield as a weapon, injuring Polarri's henchmen with the help of its sharp edges. Moon kicked and punched a few before joining Platina. The princess was throwing shurikens everywhere, without a sense of any direction intended. Moon shot a few arrows alongside her.
"Have any idea where Polarri could be hiding the stuff inside the zodiac sphere?" asked Moon.
Platina stopped attacking and studied her surroundings. "Hm. Under his feet maybe?"
"What do you mean?"
"Look, he's not even moving away from that throne of his. Judging by the way he's looking at us now, it feels like he's super confident in us not finding it. Try getting closer to him."
"Alright. Thanks, Platina."
Moon ran towards where Polarri was. She knocked him out with a single hard punch in the forehead. She ran back and grabbed Sun by the arm. "C'mon," Moon said. "Let's get 'em."
"Get what?"
"Something about the Novarros." He joined her. There was a button, and Moon pressed it. It was a hidden trapdoor. They hopped in, finding a huge underground room. Sun pointed at a wall filled with writing. Moon scanned it.
"Something about stars... destiny," said Moon. "It's hard to read in the dark."
A figure suddenly entered the room with a torch. Both Sun and Moon turned. It was Connie. She sauntered cautiously over to the wall with her light source.
"Back away," Connie ordered. "Our only choice is to ignite the wall."
"Why.. are you doing that?" asked Moon.
"It says to light it on fire."
Astrid looked back, seeing a wall underground go up in flames. She screamed louder than she has ever before. Evan stopped in his tracks and glanced at his sister. Artemis followed his gaze. The fight stopped as Astrid sank to the ground.
"When the twins fall," began Crystal. "The clouds shake."
"No!" Evan cried out.
Crystal continued. "When day falls, the clouds break. When expiration lands, your destinies die."
Astrid's body started trembling. Moon and Platina looked up at the sky. Blue pointed at a large crescent object in the air. "Look!"
Sun held onto Moon's wrist. She didn't seem to notice since she was being fascinated by the unknown object. Crystal narrowed her eyebrows at Astrid and Evan. "Do you know what that is?"
"No," said Evan.
Connie licked her lips. "Isn't it the moon?"
Artemis was shaking her head. "It's the sign of the sky. We're done."
"Mom! Wait!" called out Moon.
"What?"
"What was exactly in the zodiac sphere?"
"The Novarro scrolls. It contains the source of their mythical power."
"Why—?"
"You both are coming with me."
⇺⇻
Sun walked down the aisle. He trembled with every step. When he reached the steps, he bowed. Artemis placed a fake crown on him and closed her eyes.
"I owe your parents so much. They were my friends and advisors in life. Thank you for trying to protect my daughter."
Moon was standing beside her mother. Sun caught her eye. "It's all your daughter, Grand Duchess Artemis."
She laughed. "Is that so, Marquess Sun?"
"Yeah." Moon blushed. Sun walked up to her, took her by the hand, and ran out of the building with her. Artemis grinned proudly at them. Suddenly, a yawn was heard behind her. "Arty, are we done?"
"Henry!" scolded Artemis. "That's so disrespectful."
"Hey! You made your speech about Sun two hours long!"
"My speech wasn't just about him!" she argued.
Henry groaned. "Just answer me. Are we done?"
"Obviously!"
