"Well? Anyone care to explain?" Caroline glared at us through her long lashes, crossing her arms over her chest.
"What?" I asked trying to sound innocent and nonchalant.
"You know, the whole face eating thing. Why didn't you tell me you two are a thing?!" Caroline looked...disgusted?
"This is actually the first time we actually kissed." I said as a-matter-of-factly. "It's just irresistible, it's impossible to fight it." All four of them glanced between me and Klaus, obviously judging us.
"So all this time you've been with the enemy. How surprising. Irresistible, yeah right, he probably just bribed you." That one really hurt, how was I supposed to resist the feelings for my soul mate? I felt a tear trickle down my face, and another. Standing in Klaus' arms against all my friends felt so wrong, yet right at the same time.
"Look. Damon. Sorry you feel that way, but I really can't help it. You can't just shun me because I'm destined to be with your enemy. It is not my fault." I muttered in a cracked voice. Instinctively, Klaus wrapped his arms around me, hugging me and whispered in my ear.
"Sweetheart, it isn't your fault. I can feel your pain, please stop loathing yourself. I hate to think of you in pain like this, let alone feel it." He then kisses my tears away and cupped my cheek. "Don't you ever let yourself cry because Elena's idiot boy."
He turns to face Damon. "You said some foolish words. What we have is love, I mean, come on even the dead witches wanted us to be together, it's fated but what you and Elena have, it's nothing but Katherine all over again. You will share the same fate as you had a century ago."

Klaus looks down and wipes the tears away again."But you and I, we're different. You have me, love. And don't you forget that, I love you Monique Gilbert, always have and always will." Slowly, and more passionately this time, he pressed his lips onto mine in front of everyone.
"That's so sweet, Tyler why can't you be like that?" Caroline asked slapping Tyler on the chest which made me to giggle.
"Monique are you seriously believing this act. He loved no one. He couldn't. And if he did he wouldn't be in love with a human like you!" Damon protested, causing us all to gasp.
"Is that it, Damon? Am I not fit to be his lover because I'm a human? Well if being a human is the only bump in the road, I announce to you all now that I. AM. NOT. HUMAN!" I shrieked with so much force and anger that Damon cowered back.
"What do you mean?" Saint Stephan asked, lost in all that was happening.
"I'm not human, it's as simple as that. I'm a supernatural, I've even know about it before Elena! So why don't you just go and tell this news to Elena, since you both tell her everything!" I screamed sarcastically. '
All of a sudden I held dangling off the ground by a hand around my throat. Damon stared into my eyes, willing me to make a move.
"What are you?" He demanded. He was acting like a mad man tonight.
"Let go of my mate now!" Klaus bellowed and swooshed over to Damon before flinging him to the other side of the room.
"Mate?" Both Caroline and Taylor said in different tones, equally as confused.
"Yes dumb-asses we're mates. Took you long enough to realize. So as I told you it's impossible to not want him, we were destined to be together. If you don't like it, feel free to talk to the dead witches that pop out whenever they want, because it appears that they won't listen to me. Maybe they think watching my love life twist and turn is horribly amazing to watch" I screamed.

"You talk to dead witches?" Caroline asked, looking at me creepily.
"So...you're a witch!" Stephan declared.
"So...you're the wicked witch of the west!" Damon tried to joke, earning himself a smack on the head from Caroline.
"Surprise?" I shrug, asking awkwardly...
