《Unforgettable (Peter Parker x Reader)》Awkward Teens

After a 4 hour drive from NYC we where finally in Washington DC.
Nothing much happened on the bus. We practiced possible questions they would ask us. Along with that we had to sit though Abe ringing the bell constantly when someone answered the question wrong or when he felt like it.
We finally arrived at the hotel that was provided by the people who have organized the Decathlon.
As we got off the bus everyone stretched and grabbed their suit cases and walked in. The foyer was massive.
"Wow, this place is huge." I said as I looked around. Banners for the Decathlon was strung up every where. People from other school stood in small groups smiling and talking.
"Alright, everyone stay here while I grab your room keys. Two per room, no girls and boys together." Mr Harrinton said as he looked at everyone and disappeared into the crowd. Everyone started to partner up with someone. Of corse me and Michelle ended up being roommates for the time we where in D.C.
Mr Harrinton soon came back holding a set of keys and started to hand them out. "We're all on the same floor, but that doesn't mean you can all mess around in each others rooms." He said as he looked directly towards Flash and a couple of others.
"Now you have the rest of the day free to get settled in. You have a big day tomorrow so get some rest." Mr Harrinton said before he started to walk over to the lifts with all of us in tow.
"So what do you want to do?" Michelle asked as we started to walk along the balcony, trying to find our room. "I didn't really have anything in mind." I said and finally found our room number.
"Hey we're neighbours!" I herd Ned say. I looked over to the side and saw Peter unlocking the door to the room next to hours. I smiled and opened the door. "Why don't we hang out then?" Michelle said as she put her arm around my shoulders.
I looked over to her and raised an eyebrow. I was about to question her when I saw the smirk she had on her face.

"I think thats a great idea! Don't you think so?" Ned said as he looked over to Peter. He had a stunned expression and then stuffily nodded his head. "Uh yeah. We do have the rest of the day free, so why not?" He said as he gave me a smile.
I felt my face start to heat up. I quickly ducked out from under Michelle arm and grabbed my suit case. "I'm just gonna sort out my stuff." I mumbled and walked into our room. I put my suit case on the end of my bed then fell face down on it.
I herd the door shut quietly. A quit thump was herd as Michelle put her suit case down. "You really need to control that blush of yours now." She said. I could just herd the smirk in her voice.
I lifted my head up and looked at her. "I still hate you." I said and put my head back down. "Those two dorks agreed. Also it's so obvious that Peter likes you back. It's just getting painful to watch now." She said as she pulled out the new book that she was reading.
I rolled onto my back and looked up at the cream celling. "I highly doubt he dose. Had you seen the look he gives Liz when ever he see her?" I said remembering the times that I've seen the way Peter looks at her in Decathlon meetings and practices as well as in the classes that we shared.
A pillow was thrown at my face. I sat up, almost giving myself whiplash and glared at Michelle before throwing her pillow back. "(Y/n), he likes you. Now stop whining, the nerds are probably waiting for us." She said as she stood up and threw the pillow at my face again.
I glared at her while I got up and threw her pillow back on her bed.
~~~
The four of us walked back into the hotel's foyer, laughing and talking about the things we saw as we walked around the capital.
"We should do this more often." I said as we walked into the glass lifts and pushed the buttons to our floor.
"What, walk around Washington D.C? Hate to brake it to you (Y/n), but I'm not spending 3 hours in a car from New York." Michelle said as the doors opened.
I hit her on the arm and sent her a playful glare. "You know what I mean." I said and Peter and Ned just laughed.
We finally got back to our rooms. I lent against the door waiting for Michelle to find the keys and opened the door.
"It was nice to finally spend proper time with you. With out you know, Aunt May embarrassing us." Peter said as he lent on the wall next to me.
I turned to him with a smile on my face. He had a soft smile on his face as well.
"You still up with coming to the tower sometime?" I asked as I pushed myself off the wall and stood up straight.
He did the same and started to fidget with his hands. "Yeah, t-that would be cool." He said, his voice going a pitch higher near the end. He cleared his throats and looked away from me.
I let out a small laugh.
"Are you two gonna stand out there all night or what?" Michelle said causing both of us to jump.
"See you tomorrow?" I asked and Peter nodded his head and quickly walked into his and Ned's room.
I stood there for a second, looking at their door until I finally walked into mine and Michelle's room.
"Please just get together already." Michelle said with her head stuck in her book. I flopped onto my bed with a sigh.
~~~
I sat cross legged on my bed as I was watching tv while Michelle still had her head stuck in her book.
There was a knock on our door. I got up with a groan and opened it to see Liz in her swim suit. "Hey Liz." I said and she smiled at me.
"I was wondering if you and Michelle wanted to go to the pool with us? You know, have some fun before the Decathlon tomorrow." She asked.
I looked back to Michelle and saw that she was still lost in her book. I turned back to Liz and gave her an apologetic smile. "I'll think about it. Though I think Michelle would rather stay in her own world." I said and opened the door wider so Liz could see what I mean.
She peaked into our room and laughed. "I hope you'll join. I haven't actually gotten to talk to your properly yet." She said and gave me a wave and walked away.
As I was about to close my door I herd her and Peter talking. I let out a sigh when I herd her also ask if Peter wanted to go to the pool with everyone.
"Actually, I was uh about to talk to (Y/n) then go down and study for tomorrow. Just in case." I herd him say. I felt my hart skip a beat. He just turned down Liz to talk to me?
I quietly close the door and waited for Peter to knock. I saw Michelle look away from her book and gave me a smirk. I ignored her and herd a knock on our door. I opened the door to see Peter wearing a grey hoodie.
"Looks like your going somewhere." I said and walked out of our room and close the door behind me, knowing that Michelle would most likely start eavesdropping on us.
"Uh yeah, I was just going to go down and study for a bit. I just wanted to say hi." He said as he fidgeted with his bag. "Aren't you going to the pool with the rest?" He asked when he noticed that I was still in my jeans and hoodie.
I laughed and looked down at my feet. "Nah, I rather stay dry. Maybe I should go with you and study." I said as I looked back up at him.
He started to fidget more. "Ah, no, no, its fine. I rather study alone, not that I don't want to study with you!" He rushed out when he realised what he said.
I laughed and opened my door and gave him one last smile. "Don't stay up to late studying. We do have a big day tomorrow." I said and waved at him before I shut the door.
I let against the door and let out a groan. Why did I have to be so awkward.

Young bloods (WIP)
" So-called leaders prostituted their people to wars and abuse. They destroyed families, culture and economies; their hands dyed red by the blood of the children, the families trampled by their lecherous motivations and diabolical war machines. Trained and taught by the Revenants or rather “young bloods” from their war-torn world, we were going to build a better world for us and for the later generations, a world when there shall be no more wars waged over territory, a world where boys and girls can frolic around for all of eternity." -Sasha, Terutan regular army cadet. ‘History is determined by the victors, and here we stand transcended over those who abused us. History is filled with liars, broken promises of eternal prosperity and peace. The more things change, the more things stayed the same: ideology change, location shift but power will always find a place to rest its head. We fought and bled for the adults, the grown men and women who preached of us being their future, preached us of the freedom from tyranny and slavery; no wonder why we hated them so. History is determined by the victor, and there shall be no victors when we’re done.’- Yulia Bronskavya, Red Army Homeguard. As the first modern war came to a close in November 1st, 1918, rows of passed juveniles laid the battlefields. In the name of some royal fat cats or some shitty national leader, cruelty and crimes were committed against the weak and the vulnerable younglings; in other words, adults were assholes. Their deaths marked a new beginning, a new beginning in a strange and magical land that was and had only been dreamt of in stories and folk tale, they had arrived to Terruta. The first ones regarded themselves as Revenants, heroes who had been able to be reborn in this world and began their adventure to explore this strange foreign land. However, “every coin have two sides, like everyone have two faces”. 'As they left their former life behind, the young soldiers and operators found themselves being deceived, abused and taken advantaged off again by the elders of this world. Many were abused, tortured, raped and sold to slavery, Revenants were quite sought after due to their timeless charm, strength, intellect and immortality, they were unable to be killed no matter what; many were bought and used as pets, slaves and entertainers for their masters’ entertainment. Fed up with the similar treatment and abuse by the adults of this world, many revolted and founded ICC, International Cooperative Coalition.'-Sasaki Kotegawa, JSDF Private.

Author's Thoughts: What is litRPG (From wikipedia) - LitRPG, short for Literary Role Playing Game, is a literary genre combining the conventions of MMORPGs with science-fiction fantasy novels.[1] LitRPG is a literary genre where games or game-like challenges form an essential part of the story. A LitRPG work simultaneously narrates the story of characters inside and outside of the game-world. At least some of the characters in a LitRPG novel therefore understand that they are playing a game: they are 'meta-aware'. So, while Tolkien's Lord of the Rings is a fantasy novel, a book about people creating avatars and interacting in a Lord of the Rings MMORPG would be a LitRPG novel.Why do I read them? You know, I am not too sure. I love MMOs. I played them, quit them, joined up and repeated the cycle. They are fun! They are a massive waste of time but so are most games. Do I want to read about someone else playing them? Sort of?The advent of VR and the possibility of VR someday becoming so immersive that you can't tell them from reality sets the imagination on fire. What if this could be life? But most stories fall short. At the end of the day the protagonist hangs up his VR helmet and goes to have dinner with his mom and dad or other family and it becomes meaningless. It's like the story that ends because the main character woke up and nothing you read matters.There have been some books that explore the concept of the intersection of reality and total immersion VR. Enders Game is a classic. There were a few others that escape me but they exist, however, the cross between the game and reality is weak.So what if the game was real? The technology needed for total immersion VR is so advanced that by the time we reach that goal technology should have naturally evolved to include several items. You must have direct neural input. You simply can't have a total immersion (all senses and perfect presence) experience without this basic prerequisite. If you have direct neural access, you can probably do neat things like feed knowledge and skills directly to that person. You can undoubtedly do many horrible things as well. Muscles are controlled by the brain. If you control the brain why would you let the body just sit there and rot? A person that sits unmoving for 24 hours a day will have their body whither away just like a coma patient. However, if you control the brain you could control the muscles. On a basic level, this would be isometric impulses, working muscle group against muscle group to avoid atrophy. Taken to its logical conclusion you would be able to gain muscle mass and program muscle memory. The flip side is that you could remote control their body... but let's not go there. So what would people do if it were real? Well, they would probably limit and regulate it since the drawbacks are very obvious. Even if you look at the basic aspects of this you can see some negative possibilities. Look at the Sword Art Online anime. Personally, I think they missed the boat by putting a bomb in the VR helmet. Do you really need a bomb when you have direct access to the brain?So what kind of events would you need to have a situation where the obvious drawbacks haven't been explored? Maybe a society where the advancement of technology has so far outstripped the explorations of its applications that ignorance was truly bliss? Okay, so I had to put in an alien invasion to kickstart the premise, but that was just one of the possibilities.
