《Unforgettable (Peter Parker x Reader)》Off to Washington D.C.

I woke up with a groan. I took a quick look out the window and saw that it was still dark, well as dark as it can get in NYC.
I grabbed my phone that I had under my pillow and saw it was only an hour after I fell asleep. I couldn't think as to why I was up so early when I suddenly had the need to go to the toilet.
I groaned and threw my blankets off and attempted to climb down the ladder with out shaking the bunk to much.
My feet finally hit the carpet and I quietly walked to the bathroom without waking Peter.
As I made my way back to his room, the thought of what I saw peaking out of his wardrobe earlier came back into my mind.
I carefully opened the door and tip toed to his wardrobe.
I looked back at Peter to see that his back as facing me. I turned back to what I was doing and opened the door.
You didn't want to search threw his things but I where curious and needed answers. It was hard to see in the dark but soon my eyes adjusted. As I carefully looking at the pile of things that he had sitting in her wardrobe, my eyes landed on two different things.
One was what looked like a home made suit and even though it was dark, you could see the black spider much like Spider-Man's logo in front of the red hoodie.
Bundle up with the hoodie was a mask with a pare of goggles attached to it. I suspected that the web shooters would be in his draws of his desk.
I almost let out a laugh, thinking that Peter was a fan boy of Spider-Man. I had admit that it was actually pretty good for something homemade, but that was until I got a good look at the second thing.
My eyes widen when I saw the familiar suit that Spidey always wears.
"Holy shit." I whispered out.
I was either hallucinating or I'm dreaming. I pinched myself and cringed when pain shot threw my arm.
This was all real. Peter Parker, the nerdy guy who I have a crush on is the guy who I've helped out a few times and also has a crush on as well. The two guys I like are in fact one person
I grabbed the suit and looked over it. Yep this is definitely Tony's work.
I herd Peter move behind me causing me to freeze. I let out a sigh when everything went quiet once again and put back the two suits where they were and carefully closed the door.

I climbed back into bed and staring up at the ceiling for the rest of the night thinking everything over.
I was extremely tired the next day.
~~~
For a whole week I've thinking about what I saw was when I stayed at Peter's. I still can't get my head around the thought, but at the same time it made so much sense.
I have been trying to get the guts to tell him that I knew about him being the red and blue web-slinger, but I've stopped myself from doing so, thinking that he would yell at me for going threw his stuff. So of course I never told him.
I finally finished packing my suit case and set on my bed looking out at the view of New York. I looked down at my phone and saw that it was about time I left.
Today was the day we where driving to Washington D.C for the decathlon. Sadly Peter wasn't coming because of the 'Stark Internship'. No one was happy about it at the lunch we sad together when he told everyone. He got pelted with food by the team when he did. With a sigh, I picked up my suit case and bag and started to make my way to the elevator.
Happy of corse was waiting in the car like always. I let out a sigh and got into the back. I looked out the window, sort of felling down that Peter won't be with us in D.C.
"Whats got you so down?"
Happy's voice made me jump in my set. "Oh uh, j-just thinking about...things." I said looking down at my hands.
I played with the cuffs of my yellow blazer, not looking up at Happy. "Ok then. Are you still sure that you don't want to stay at the tower and help me with packing up the main floor?" Happy asked as eh started to drive down the road.
"Yeah. I'v done enough packing for a life time." I said.
We didn't saying anything else to each other after that.-
Soon we stopped at the normal spot where Happy dropped me off, and started my semi long walk to Midtown. Soon the yellow bus came into view as well the rest of the team.
Like always, Michelle had her head stuck in a book as she lent against the bus. Ned also stood among the group with a smile on his face.
"Hey Ned." I said and he turned around and gave me a large smile.
"Hey! Are you ready to compete in your first decathlon?" He asked.
Out of the corner of my eye I saw Flash send a glare my way. He's still sour about me taking his place on the main team.
I gave him a small smile. "Yeah! It just sucks that Peter can't be here though." I said as started to dig my feet into the concert.
At the start of the week, Peter said that he had to stay behind if Tony needed him at Stark tower, in which you both knew it was a lie and now I know the actual truth behind it was.
"About that." Ned started and nodded behind me with a smile on his face.
I raised an eyebrow at him and turned to see Peter jogging towards us. "Peter?" I said with wide eyes.
"Hey." He said with a smile and then turned to everyone who stood behind you.
"I was thinking if I could maybe join the team?" He asked sounding hopeful, I was about to say of course he could but Flash decided to open his mouth.
"No, no way. You can't just stroll up and expect us to accept you back in the team." Flash said as he walked over to where Peter stood next to me.
I was once again cut off when Mr Harrinton walked out of the bus. "Welcome back Peter." Was all he said which made Flash look at him in shock.
A smirk appeared on my face, knowing that Flash got shot down once again. "(Y/n), your back to first alternate." He said and I smiled and turned back to Peter.
"The team wouldn't of been the same if you didn't come." I said as I nudged his shoulder and he let out a laugh.
"I'm sure everyone would of been fine since you where on the team." he said and was about to say something else when Michelle decided to come back to the real world and speak up.
"Can we go already? I want to get some light protesting in front of one of the embassies before dinner."
I turned turned around to her and raised an eyebrow. She saw me looking at her and she shrugged her shoulders.
"Protesting is patriotic. Lets get on the bus." Mr Harrinton said and walked on the bus followed by everyone else.
As Flash walked by he bumped Peter on the shoulder. Peter looked confused and followed after him with Me and Ned close behind.
I was going to sit next to Peter but decided against it and sat next to Michelle instead who sat a couple of rows in front of them.
"Hey, why aren't you sitting next to Peter?" She asked looked up from her book, blowing her hair out of her face so she could see better.
"Uh, I sorta need to talk to you about that actually." I said fidgeting with the sleeves of my blazer.
She raised an eyebrow at me and put her book mark in the spine of the book and closed it, and turned in her set to look at me properly. "This sounds important." She said in her normal serious voice.
I shrugged. "In a way. I just, who do you exactly tell someone you like them with out being awkward? I know your probably not to best to talk to about this, but I have no one else." I said and she nodded her head with a smirk appearing on her face.
"So you finally accepted that you like Peter. It's about time." She said and I sent her a playful glare.
"Yeah well, I still don't know how to tell him though. I know that you and Ned, even his aunt say's that he likes me, but I'v seen the way he looks at Liz." I said as I looked at the dark grey seat in front of me.
I felt a pare of hand grab me the shoulders and turned towards Michelle. "(Y/n), look. Trust me when I say that Peter like you too ok?" She said looking serious until the smirk appeared on her face once more.
"Besides if he like Liz, why would he be look looking at you right now?" She said and nodded in the direction behind us.
I looked at her confused and turned to see that Peter was in fact looking at me. When our eyes met, his eyes went wide and a bright blush appeared on his cheeks as he looked away.
I felt my own face heat up so I looked back towards the front.
"I wont be surprised if he asks you to go to the dance that is coming up." Michelle said with the smirk on her face as she lent against the window looking at me.
I slid down in my seat while I covered my face with my hands while letting out a groan. "I hate you so much."
