"I don't think we need to visit her grave anymore."
Clarke turned to Bellamy with a frown. "What?"
"I've been thinking about it, and I don't think I need to go. I feel fine now."
Clarke turned to him. "Sit," she instructed, and he reluctantly obliged. "You are not 'fine' now. Even if you've magically regained the ability to smile and laugh, you still haven't cried. Don't you see Bellamy? She's your sister. You should have cried at least a couple times. And you're still seeing her. Which we probably need to look into, they could be hallucinations..."
"They're not." He told her with a scowl.
"Okay, okay, but my point stands. And I'm not going to force you to go, but I still think it's a good idea."
Bellamy ran a hand through his hair. "I'll think about it."
"Okay. You want to bake for dinner, or pizza?"
"Let's do something a little more civilized than pizza. How about Mexican or Thai?"
"Sure."
"Sure to which?" He prodded.
"Mexican, I want burritos."
Bellamy laughed. "Okay."
Clarke looked out the window and wrinkled her nose. "Ugh. It's raining. I'm gonna get an umbrella and go."
Bellamy sank onto the couch and pulled out his phone to check his messages. "Have fun!" he called absentmindedly as the door opened and closed.
...
A knock sounded on the door. When Bellamy didn't immediately answer, the knock sounded again. Bellamy dragged himself off the couch with a groan and yelled "Coming, coming!" to the door.
When he opened the door, he expected to see Clarke, but that couldn't be right. She shouldn't be back yet, and plus she had keys so there would be no reason to knock.

Indeed, it was not Clarke. "Raven? What are you doing here?"
Raven was standing, rain soaked, in the door. She gritted her teeth at him then mumbled: "I'm sorry."
Bellamy paused to hide his smile. "I couldn't hear you, could you repeat that?"
Raven glared at him murderously. "I said, I'm sorry."
Bellamy risked a smile. "Apology accepted. Come on in, Clarke's out getting food. And you know her, she usually gets enough take out to feed 20 people."
Raven hesitated. "Are you sure?"
Bellamy nodded. "Yeah. It's fine, you were drunk. And... actually, you were right. I want to hang out with everyone, can you add me to the group chat?"
They had a group chat, Bellamy knew because Clarke often told him about it.
Raven blinked at him. "The group chat? Why?"
"I... I have to check with Clarke, but I was thinking of inviting everyone over for a party-type thing. You know- for my birthday"
Raven pulled out her phone, so Bellamy did too and within a few swipes he was on the group chat.
Raven added Bellamy to "Group Chat"
You: 6:42 PM
Hi.
Raven: 6:42 PM
He asked to be added.
Murphy: 6:43 PM
Is that Bellamy?
Raven: 6:43 PM
Yeah, be nice Murphy.
Princess <3: 6:43 PM
Hi Bellamy!
Jasper: 6:44 PM
Hi. Monty says hi too.
You: 6:45 PM
Hi everyone.
Princess <3: 6:45 PM
I've got the food and I'm coming home.
You: 6:45 PM
Okay, Raven's here too.
Harper: 6:46 PM
Hi Bellamy! Also, does anyone know where Maya is? She and I were supposed to go out tonight..?
Jasper: 6:46 PM
Oh yeah she told me to tell you she's running late she just left a couple minutes ago.

Bellamy turned off his phone and turned to Raven. "Thanks." he told her, and she frowned at him.
"Thanks for what?"
"I know it must've been hard for you to overcome your stubbornness and say sorry."
She waved him off, but a small smile still lingered on her face.
...
Clarke did, indeed, get way too much Mexican food. They still had enough leftovers to last a week afterwards. After Raven left, Bellamy and Clarke were in the kitchen, cleaning. "So," Clarke started, and Bellamy knew he was in for it. "Why did Raven drop by?"
"She apologized to me, for what she said."
Clarke nodded, and for a moment he thought she would just let it go. But no. "Did you accept her apology?"
"Yeah."
"Cool, cool." She said mildly. She looked up at him and smiled through her lashes. Bellamy's breath caught in his throat. Jesus, she was beautiful...
"What?" She huffed when she caught him staring.
"Nothing." He told her, and she smirked.
"Am I too beautiful for you to resist looking at?" she teased.
"Hush." He told her, face flushing a bit too red.
She had no idea how right she was.
...
When he casually mentioned a birthday party, Clarke happily said yes. He knew she was proud of him for seeing all his friends again.
He was looking forward to it, yes. But also dreading it. What if they all thought the same thing as Raven?
They probably did, he had basically ignored them for so long...
Bellamy woke up one night paralyzed in fear. He heard Clarke crying in the other room. She must have woken from a nightmare, too.
But he couldn't bring himself to get up, he couldn't bring himself to comfort her.
Because she was Clarke, he was Bellamy, and even if he loved her she would never love him. He didn't deserve her, he didn't deserve any of them.
Bellamy stood up.
He wouldn't be a burden anymore.
