Gracie walked the way towards school, after getting off from the bus. When she arrived in front of her school, Linong wasn't there waiting for her unlike usual.

She walked into the building and went into her classroom. Linong wasn't there on his seat, not even a sight of his bag.

It felt different because Linong wasn't here with her. The boy always comes to school, eventhough if he was sick.

He wasn't there to make jokes with her today, making her smile, asked her if she felt unwell, if she finished her homework and being overprotective over her incase they ran into Wenjun or one of her fanboys.

"Why isn't Nongnong here?", She asked herself. It couldn't be because of her, right?

She felt bored since Linong didn't come to school. She just sat on her seat and zoned out as she was waiting for the teacher to come in. Suddenly an idea popped out of her brain. She debated whether to follow the idea, which is to skip school, or not. She then finally decided to skip school. Like bro, No Nongnong no fun.

She walked back out of the school building, passing through students who were going the opposite direction of her. After she was out of the building, she ran out of the school gates, ignoring the security guards shouts.

"HEY!!! STOP RIGHT THERE!!!!"

"UGH CAN'T THE SECURITY GUARD SHUT UP FOR ONE MINUTE", she yelled at the back of her mind as she was sprinting on the streets.

After a minute of running, Gracie finally stopped. She caught her breath before looking around. She was familiar with the area. It was where Wenjun brought her to see Chengcheng. Unpleasant meeting, she would say.

She spotted the cafe and walked towards it. She stepped inside and saw that there wasn't a lot of people, maybe since it was still early. She went to the counter to order.

"One caramel latte and one slice of cookies and cream cake please", Gracie said to the waitress.

"Okay, anything else?", the waitress asked.

"No, thank you", Gracie said

"That would be 30 yuan"

Gracie handed the waitress the exact amount of money she had to pay and went to the other end of the counter to wait for her order. In about 3 minutes, the waitress gave her the caramel latte and cookies and cream cake she ordered.

She took the drink and cake and went to a table, the exact same table where she and Chengcheng sat. She put down the drink and cake, placed her bag on a chair and sat down.

She took a sip of her drink and a bite of the cake, before fishing her handphone from her bag. She opened her phone and checked her notifications. She felt sad as there was no message from Linong.

Chen Linong where are you??

Why didn't you come to school?
