《Vikings imagines》Hvitserk imagine

The kiss prompt is 18: Teasing kisses where one person blows air into the other's mouth and runs away.
Warnings: none
Hvitserk and you had known each other since you could walk, and had ended up from friends to lovers once you reached your later teenage years.
Whereas his brothers roamed around town, hunting every living female in Kattegat, Hvitserk only ever had eyes for you.
His brothers obviously missed no opportunity to tease Hvitserk about how smitten he was with you, but neither you nor Hvitserk minded, knowing that the love you had for each other was incredibly rare.
Nevertheless Hvitserk had decided to go on a raid without you, leaving you in Kattegat because it was safer.
He had promised you that you would stay at the Ragnarssons' cabin in the woods for a week afterwards, just the two of you.
When Hvitserk came back after the few months the raid had lasted he greeted you with a tight hug and a kiss, and afterwards moved to pack some food and clothes for the week he had promised you.
The trip to the cabin took rather long with the two of you bearing food and clothes you were going to need, or as you knew Hvitserk you wouldn't wear your clothes all that much.
Nevertheless you packed a lot of food, because Hvitserk was always hungry.
When you reached the cabin the first thing you did was put away the food and letting yourself fall onto the bed afterwards.
You were no shieldmaiden, though you knew how to defend yourself, and for someone who wasn't training every day the hike up the mountain was exhausting.
Hvitserk watched you in amusement and moved closer towards you, bending down to take your hands in his before getting back up and pulling you up with him, under a cry of protest from you.

He only chuckled, pecking your lips as he caressed you waist with his hands before moving outside.
"Come on, the lake is waiting. I was thinking about going fishing and having a little fun afterwards", he winked at you as he grabbed a bucket before leaving the hut, leaving you behind to groan.
Hvitserk always was very charismatic, and enthusiastic, and you loved that about him.
So of course you followed him outside, watching as he partly skipped down the hill to reach the small lake.
You moved to follow him, and once you reached him he smiled widely, pressing a sweet but wet kiss to your lips.
You smiled as well as you moved to the edge of the lake, Hvitserk behind you, until you felt his arms wrap around you, making you shriek as he lifted you and carried you into the lake so the water went halfway up his calves before letting you go, leaving you no choice but to get wet feet.
The laugh you had started when Hvitserk had picked you up died when the water hit your feet to make way for a shocked yelp as you felt the cold water around your ankles and calves, soaking the end of your dress.
"Hvitserk", you shouted, but you smiled as you hit his chest jokingly.
"It's water, woman, get a grip", Hvitserk chuckled as he pulled you to his chest to press a kiss to your hairline.
When he turned silent you looked up at him to see him staring at you.
He smiled widely as he put a hand on your cheek, to caress it softly.
"Gods, I missed you", the smile he wore enchanting you as you replied with saying the same.
You were about to move back in for a kiss when Hvitserk wiggled his eyebrows at you, grinning mischievously and pulling away quickly.

"Fishing", he said as he took the two wooden spears you used for fishing and handed one of them to you.
You chuckled at his playfulness before taking the staff from him and pulling the edge of your dress up, putting a knot in it so it wouldn't hang in the water.
The two of you grew silent as you stood in the water waiting for fish, moving as little as possible.
After a while you looked up, realizing that Hvitserk wasn't even bothering to look for fish and instead straight up staring at you.
When you furrowed your brows at him you could swear you saw him blush slightly before he gained his composure back, grinning suggestively at you.
"You look like Freyja", he said softly, and now the blush creeped up your cheeks.
Hvitserk always gave compliments so easily, something that bothered you sometimes, since there was no way you could look like the Goddess of love, beauty and fertility, not even in his eyes.
"Don't insult the Gods", you said softly, smiling softly at him before trying to focus your attention back on the fish.
"I'm complimenting them!", you heard Hvitserk say and the blush on your cheeks grew more intense.
When you looked at Hvitserk you saw how serious he was, and that sent a rush of euphoria through your body.
You concentrated on fishing afterwards, or tried to at least, since you hadn't seen Hvitserk in so long and had missed him very much.
You caught quite a few fish though, enough to last the two of you for a few days.
When you finally had enough you moved towards Hvitserk, smirking playfully.
His attention shifted from the lake to you, a questioning look settling on his face before he wrapped his arms around your waist, holding you close.
You laced your fingers into his hair, through the mess of braids on his head before pulling him closer to kiss him.
A knowing smirk had settled onto his face as well as he watched you be so dominant before he closed his eyes to enjoy the kiss he anticipated.
You did indeed press your lips to his, but only after taking a deep breath.
You blew air into his mouth before laughing as you moved to run away from him, and towards the hut.
Halfway there you felt hands pulling your body up, wrapping themselves around and you fell to the floor with Hvitserk above you, the both of you laughing with admiration for the other clear on your face.
Hvitserk put his hand on your cheek, gently moving his thumb in a circular motion before leaning in and giving you a deep kiss.
You put your hand in his hair again, but this time you pulled him closer rather than like previously having the intention to push him away.
"I love you so much", Hvitserk whispered as he finally pulled his lips from yours to let you breathe.
He smiled at you, and you smiled back.
"I know, you said that already", you chuckled, and Hvitserk put an annoyed expression on his face, that certainly wasn't meant seriously.
The hand he had on your waist suddenly began tickling you, making you laugh until you finally gave up.
"I love you too", you laughed and he stopped his movements, laying still on top of you.
Your face grew serious and you put a hand on his cheek and pecked his lips.
"You know I do, I love you", you whispered again, seriously this time, and the both of you dove back in to kiss each other, expressing just like you had done a thousand times already how much your love meant to you.

After a visit to a local reservation, she finds herself conscripted to lead one of the many small support towns erected around the great pillar forts. Not near her old home, but in far-flung Africa. John McIntire, the “Fighting Bull” -The commander of the African Fort, but because of circumstances beyond his ability to contend with shortly after taking command after being re-activated from retirement, he finds communication with his chain of command increasingly difficult. The African Union is embroiled in a bitter civil war just outside his door, and supposedly, most of the world governments are in similar situations. Meanwhile, John must do his best to be ready to facilitate diplomacy, or to match the hostile argument of whatever force might come through the pillar of light when the year timer finishes counting down. Can our heros defend Earth from outside threats, while it tares itself apart? Or will they need to rebuild from the ground up?
