She waited in her tent for the meeting to be in over. She soon saw Ubbe outside her tent and quickly got to him. "Come on, sister. We are going." She nodded quickly to him and got her stuff.
She ran her way to the boat and dropped it all and jumped into the boat. She soon saw others bringing their stuff and she sat and waited for Ubbe. She heard people fixing the boat as she stood and saw Hvitserk and Ubbe.
"Hvitserk!" She yelled as he got in the boat and she hugged him tightly before letting go. She looked up the hill and heard Ivar "look at you! Trying to sneak away to avoid your shame! Surely you must be embarrassed that nobody else is with you!"
She was then soon noticed by Ivar who suddenly had a sad look in his eyes. He then quickly turned back cold as he yelled "Now, why is that? I can't understand it, can you? Ubbe, nobody is with you! Everyone is with me!"
All the Vikings yelled in agreement as she looked towards Hvitserk and put a hand on his arm. "Let go." Ubbe said as the boat moved slightly.
She felt Hvitserk move under her hand. "Hvitty, please don't do this to me. Brother, stay with me." She said to him with pleading eyes as he looked at her.
Hvitserk then Jumped out of the boat and stood next to Ivar. Ubbe quickly grabbed onto Grace as she threatened to fall. She started to cry as she felt betrayed by another one of her brothers.
She was then sunken to the boat floor and hugged into Ubbes side. As they sailed back to Kattegat all she could think about was Hvitserk. She felt the boat dock finally as she stood.

She heard people calling to their family. She heard Margrethe yelling for Ubbe. Grace felt a wave of sadness overcome her as she had nobody waiting for her. She got out of the boat until she saw Lagertha.
Lagertha saw the sadness wash over Graces face and decided to hold out her arms. "Come on, now." She told the girl as she ushered her into her arms. "I know you don't forgive me for your mother, but I will always be here with open arms for you."
She hugged the girl tightly and held her arm around her as she walked up the hill back to her home. "I shall go and see your brother. Why don't your return to your room."
Grace nodded and left to her room which she laid onto her bed. She started to let out her tears as she felt betrayed by both her brothers. She knew she would always have the trust of Ubbe as he did hers.
She laid there until sundown with a blank expression. "I heard your brother left to go with Ivar." She sat up at the words of Lagerthas voice.
Lagertha took a seat at the end of the bed. "I know understand he is the enemy. I wish for you to know I will protect you as your brother will." Grace moves next to Lagertha and they look to each other.
Lagertha wipes away Graces tears and pats her shoulder. "Don't ever cry over the enemy. I believe you are stronger than any of them and, I want you to show them that." Grace nods and hugs Lagertha.
"Well I would wish for you a good nights rest, Grace." "As you, Lagertha." Grace felt a hand pat her head then heard the door close.

"Fear is only as deep as the mind allows, and the only thing we have to fear is fear itself” -Travelling Poet "It was on a night, ever so dark, that I truly found out what horror was. The way of the profound means nothing, in fact, is not even considered a spec of dust in front of true strength. No mere mortal nor a mere god could achieve such strength, much less rival it. In fact, it wasn't this tyrannical strength I feared so much, it is the one who holds it. I swear by the law on my follower's belief, that I would and will never forget that night for the rest of my life. The true fearsome power held by an unfathomable existence. Nothing in existence should hold such a power, and nothing should have such cruelty and high bearing. I have felt fear and will never forget it. Yet even now, I still feel the phantom pains from the limbs you ate and the heart you crushed; are you satisfied? Titan!." - Unknown God --------------------------------------------------------------- This is the story of BRAND
