《VIKING PRINCESS》Chapter Fourteen

"Get up sister, we have arrived." She heard as she felt a kick to her leg. She opened her eyes to Ubbe. "Don't hit me." She said getting up.
He patted her head and smiled. She looked up at him with scowl "stop it." He then went off the boat. She was last but Hvitserk waited by the side to help her up. She nodded to him as he handed her a sword.
As they reached the hill she stopped. "Are we going to win?" She asked but Bjorn turned to her. "Why wouldn't we, Sister."
They made their way between their men and she was behind Bjorn. They all started to scream except her as she just wanted it over with. But when they ran she stayed back.
Then she ran and smiled as everyone was fighting. She had killed one man before it was over. They then took king Aelle and tied him to Ivars chariot. She smiled when they stopped in woods.
"Show us where my father died. Show us!" Bjorn yelled at the man after slapping him. She moved next to Sigurd. "Are you okay, dear?" She asked him as he nodded watching on.
They followed his eyes to a tree next to them. Bjorn started to move leaves with his foot then said "this is the place?"
Bjorn moves so the men could move the doors. As they moved Grace went to look over. Hvitserk went beside her to look as well as the others. "This is where our father was killed." Ivar said as Grace nodded to no one in particular.
"How much the little pigs grunt, when they hear how the old boar suffered." Bjorn said looking towards King Aelle. "How much gold and silver do you want to spare my life. Name your price. Anything. Anything!" Shouted King Aelle.

Grace moved her head and looked at Hvitserk and let out a laugh. "You are mistaken. My father was worth more than gold and silver. That is not the price you must pay." Ivar said as Floki moved Sigurd out of the way.
He grabbed King Aelle by his shirt and forced him to the ground. Grace moved and took Sigurd by the arm and placed him behind her. "I've been told your god is a carpenter. And guess what? So am I." Floki said.
Floki got wood as they stayed in the forest. They put him on the piece of wood with his arms stretched out. Hvitserk and Sigurd holding down both his arms as Floki hammered his hands down.
Sigurd walked back towards Grace. "You did good, dear brother." She said with a smile as he nodded back. Bjorn ripped King Aelles shirt and took a blade that had been in fire and stabbed him.
He cut down his back and moved the flesh. Ubbe handed over his axe to Bjorn. Bjorn repeatedly stabbed the axe into Aelles back. When morning came they strung him up with his back exposed right where they father was killed.

Cursed Era
Tilvrade is born into a family of country nobility. A baby with vague memories of another world, he begins his life trying to come to grips with the world he is in now, while fitting into his household's lifestyle and maid's loving attentions. Soon, shadows of intrigue, creep out from the capital of the kingdom and disrupt his day to day. Revelations of odd vestiges of a civilisation spark memories of who he was. Cover is a work by a great artist called madimb. You can find the full image here. Read if you enjoy reincarnation plots, medieval fantasy and a slow developing negative protagonist. Don't read if you like fast developments and action. This story is overly detailed and not for everyone (The MC is still not a teenager as of chapter 40, if that gives you a hint of the pacing...)

Grin the Cheat
There was a time when heroes roamed between the Four Great Cities. They fought for kingdoms and princesses and they lived and died by their valour. Or so the stories say. The way the minstrels sing it, everyone had a swashbuckling good time. Nowadays, buckles are rarely swashed. All the great beasts have been slain, all the great treasures unearthed. Princesses are few and far between — the ones worth fighting over, anyway — and the kingdoms have been divvied up between the sons of sons of sons of the heroes of old. No valour required. Frankly, the hero business is in a sorry state. Luckily for Grin the Cheat, thieving and murder are thriving as usual. If you have a moment, please vote for this story at Top Web Fiction. The Arcanist Seer
An eye of which sees everything beyond the skies and heavens saw an embodying fate with reek of blood and greed. He who sees the future and yet is restrained by his own shackles of his destiny. An eye that serves a purpose but nothing in exchange for his freedom. Will he remain as a tool of his adversary or escape from his own shackles of fate? This is a story of two old men trying to free from the shackle of their destiny set in a future only to await their impending doom. This is a story of a dead god, and of a storyteller, trying to break from the bonds of the past. And as their stories go, one of them will face the events that unfold in their distant past, as the other one will unveil its mystery predicted by its future. Is it a mistake to challenge fate, after all? *** The world-building is set upon on the universal scale, with dungeon and old-style fantasy. It has a progression that follows with the consistency of a dungeon setting, although it's not what you call a dungeon, but a function of a crystal. There's a lot to take in this novel, but that's all within my intention. I have always enjoyed challenging conventional ideas. The cover is not mine, it's just temporary.

The Collected Short Stories of Necrontyr525
Hey all, Necrontyr525 here! Rather then drown you all in a flood of one- to three-chapter mini-fics, I've decided to put out all of my short stories in an 'omnibus' format, sorted by series and by release date. These stories span my entire progress as a writer-for-fun over the past three plus years, with the corisponding variance in length, subject matter, and quality. Each chapter will get an Author's Note as a sort of forwards. Not nessisarily as a summary, but more to give you all some context for where each short came from, as well as any chapter-spicific trigger warnings. I can't think of any off of the top of my head, but better safe then sour.Comments, reviews, and constuctive criticizm is welcome, but please do recall that these works collectivly represent a great deal of my growth as a writer.Cover by the wonderful gej302!
