She had gotten up before her brothers to get mother. "Mother, you got to eat." She said as Aslaug got up from her bed and nodded. "I shall get your spot fixed." She told her mother leaving.
Once her mother was up and eating she faced her mother "let's go and see him off." She said seeing Ubbe and Sigurd coming into the room. She nodded to them as they were already dressed as was her and Aslaug.
"Well come on!" She yelled running out of the room and down to the dock to see her brother. "Hvitserk!" She shouted as she reached the dock. "I will miss you dearly." She told her him as she hugged him tightly.
"I shall see you first when I'm back." He said as he pulled away to see her tearing up. "Don't cry, dear sister. I will be back." He said wiping her tears away.
He noticed behind her that Aslaug and their brothers had finally shown up. Aslaug let go of Ubbe arm and smiled to hug Hvitserk. He then went to Sigurd "May you wet your blade with blood." He said as they smiled at each other.
"May the gods be with you, Brother." Ubbe said as they knocked foreheads. Grace had put her forehead on her mothers shoulder to keep her from crying. Aslaug put an arm around Grace as she noticed her crying.
Before Hvitserk had left them he patted Grace on the back then walked away. As soon as they left everyone went back to normal. She went into the forest to see the flowers. She sat at the lake side and picked rocks.
"Sister, are you alright." She heard a voice speak from the forest. She turned her head to see Ubbe. "I'm fine, Ubbe."She turned back to all the rocks she had found.

He sat down next to her and said "father is selling everything. He looks like fool." She looked at him with a frown. "Maybe he will find something." "You're always so hopeful for him, Grace." He said as he stood and patted her head.
"Hurry back home before the sunsets. We don't want mother worried." She nodded as he left her. She only thought about how she wanted to go on a voyage one day. She never took anyone expect for Hvitserk if her dreams.

Winter Fire [ Book 1 ] ✔
On the second jump, Claire's bad leg gave way and she felt herself tumbling forward. A cry of surprise escaped her and Claire was certain she was about to topple off the side of the train. Alek, however, moved quickly, catching her mid-fall and keeping her upright, and alive. Claire lifted her eyes to meet his which were wide with alarm. The expression was fleeting, lasting for only a moment before it was replaced by a frown. "You could have fallen," he said pointedly."I know," Claire breathed, finding her thoughts drifting to the strong arm wrapped around her waist. A flush rose to her cheeks and she was grateful for the biting wind that masked her reaction. "Thank you.""You need to be more careful," he continued, his eyes locked on hers, bright and haunting in the silver glow of the moon overhead."I will," Claire assured him, her heart skipping in her chest. "I promise."------1st Place in the Chaos Awards2nd Place in the Mystic Awards2nd Place in the Stella Luna Awards2nd Place in the Talent Awards 2018Highest Ranking #1 In SteampunkFound on the official Wattpad Fantasy account featured reading list "Wintery Worlds"
