She soon saw boats coming across the ocean. As they got closer she smiled as she saw Floki. When the boats had got to the dock and Floki got off she immediately let go of Hvitserk.
She hurried over to him and hugged him tightly "oh, how I've missed you, Floki." She told him when they pulled away. He smiled to her then moved to her brother.
She turned to her brother "I must go." She says as she moves to leave. "To change with mother, I assume." He said to her when she turned she nodded. She gave him a small wave to which he returned.
She sat on her bed with her mother yelling at a servant. "She needs this dress! Get it!" She said then turned to her daughter. "It shall be here." "How will you do my hair?" She asked her mother as she stood with her back facing Aslaug.
"It will be beautiful." She said as she started to braid her daughters hair. Few seconds later a knock at the door was the servant. She held beautiful dress in her arms. Aslaug took it from the servant and put it on the bed.
"We shall be there soon. Hurry up, my dear." She said closing the door with a smile. She changed quickly and admired the craft work of the dress. She walked out and saw her brothers waiting.
"Let us go." Ubbe said as he locked arms with Grace. "Everyone will be there?" She asked Sigurd who was walking next to her who nodded. As they entered people stopped to look then went on.
She went to sit next to Hvitserk who as of now was talking to Ubbe. "Sigurd, you know mother loves your right." She told him as he shook his head. "She only cares for you and Ivar." He said taking a sip.

"Well at least you know that I love and care for you, right Sigurd." He smiled to her and nodded "of course, sister." She noticed Bjorn walking up. He grabbed Ubbe by his hair to which he looked annoyed.
"Ubbe, Hvitserk, Sigurd and Ivar. Then Grace who is Hvitserk twin." Bjorn said as she stood from seat. As they all stood she was between Sigurd and Hvitserk.
"Hvitserk is coming with us." Bjorn told the men. She had known her brother was leaving but didn't want him to. She put her hand on his back as he smiled to her.
"I remember you, i remember all of you." Harald said with a big smile. "But how you've all grown tall. Expect for you Grace." He said as she nodded to him knowing it was a joke.
"You're not boys anymore." He said talking to her brothers she then heard Ivar speak up. "I am so much taller when I stand up." She smiled to her mother who smiled to Ivar.
"I'm sure you wish you could come with us." Halfdan said. Graces smile fell and she walked moved her hand from her brothers back. She moved to seat back down and ignore him. "Go to hell." She heard Ivar say as she smirked.
Few minutes later she was stood next to her brothers as her mother cut open the neck of an animal. Everyone was getting blessed with the blood. She got it after her brother Hvitserk the. When the sacrifice was over she saw Lagertha talking to her mother.
She went over to them but Lagertha was leaving and she smiled at Grace. "Mother, are you alright?" She asked as Aslaug got up and nodded. "Let us get you to bed. You need to rest, mother." She said putting an arm around her mother and helping her to her room.

When she got Aslaug settled she went to leave only for her mother to call her back. "Grace, no matter what will happen. I want you to always remember what I've said to you." Grace nodded but said "nothing is going to happen, mother. We are safe here in Kattegat."
She left her mothers room to go to her own. She got into her sleep gown and put her hair down. She wondered what her mother meant by what she had said. She shook off any bad feelings and blew the candle then fell asleep.

In the future of Earth humans are no longer the dominant species. Monsters, vampires, elves and all manners of otherworldly threats now threaten the planet and its people. And for one such as Camille, there was nothing she could do. A failed martial artist, Camille swallowed her pride and dreams, all the while sinking into the world of video games. Until she died. Reawakening with newfound power in her very own bed, there's no doubting that she's an oddity. And as the only individual in the world with the body of a video game character, she's ecstatic. No longer will she just be content with playing games in her dark room, taking over fantasy worlds as a great heroine. Rather, she'll do something better. And that'll be to take over the real one instead. Whether it be mages, demons or other supernatural entities that stand in her way, it doesn't matter. Camille may be a level one at first, but dammit if she wasn't going to try to reach one hundred. This is not a crunchy LitRPG and gradually becomes more of a character driven story that just happens to have a main character with LitRPG abilities. There will be a variety of powers/abilities that are explored later in the setting involving magic systems and other technological advancements. The first 10 chapters were written with satirical undertones, but begin to develop more into its own entity after that.

Join Grey make his glorious way in Chronosseum, and uncover its truth! Also, he needs to answer that question too! Note: The story heavily relies on the characters' thought processes, characters' interactions with its dramas, mystery, and back-stories aspects, so expect the slice of life thingy. As for now, I can't say this is an action-packed story, but slowly, it will be for sure. Also, I'm planning not too heavily focused on the MC, as you'll see the story told from various perspectives. Tags and content warnings are checked for the sake of my creativity in the future, it might or might not be included. This is my first novel, and also, English is not my native language, I beg your mercy. But I am open to any feedback and constructive criticism, so let's make the story more enjoyable to read! Chronosseum is scheduled to release one chapter every three days (for now).
