《Vikings, Mini Drabbles》Ubbe: Asking her out
Advertisement
Being around young men as Ubbe and Hvitserk made you almost immune for their charm. Giving Hvitserk always had such an interest in you, you started to know how to ignore that. You were caring a plate with a meal to the great hall when you noticed Ubbe already sitting on one of the chairs. 'Ubbe.' You greeted him polite. He looked up, looking longer than he usually did so you frowned a little, placing the plate on the table. 'It's only me today.' He announced when he looked at the filled plate with food. No way he could eat this all on his own. 'You will have to eat a lot then.' You joked, getting him a cup of ale. 'Join me.' He nodded to the chair on the other side. You looked at it before looking back to him. 'I don't want to be seen in this way.' You honestly said. 'If I demand you to have to sit for dinner you will do that.' He sounded not like himself and you sat down, not wanting him to get all Ivar alike over you.
He hardly said anything during dinner. Every time you weren't looking he was looking at you and when you looked back he looked away. You drank some water, studying the nervous traits in his expressions. 'Is something going on?' You asked carefully. You were already sometime in the service of the Ragnarssons, he could tell you if he wanted to. 'You have hunting skills right?' He ignored your question by asking some of his own. 'I used to go to the woods with my father to lay traps.' You slowly answered, not totally getting where he was going for. 'Can you learn me?' He asked. You mouth slowly fell open an you looked away from the food towards him. 'I need to learn a Ragnarsson to lay traps?' You asked, keeping yourself from laughing. His stressed out behavior was kind of confusing, cute almost. 'Can't you just come?' He followed. You were certain he could lay traps, giving this wasn't his normal behavior he had something to hide or needed your help. 'Did you do something?' 'No.' He protested right away. 'You are stressing out, why do you need me to come to the woods? If you want to kill me you can just say so, I won't panic.' You joked. He didn't laugh; he was looking at you like you just said the stupidest thing ever. Maybe it was ... a little. 'What is it?' You asked again. You were a stubborn one, he should know. 'I just want to spend some time with you.' He answered. You looked at him, placing the pieces all together, not being able to say a thing. 'You,' 'Alone.' He interrupted you. You were a lot around the brothers, spending time wasn't an exception. But what he was proposing wasn't out of friendship, it was because he liked you. And maybe that was the other way around to, you only didn't admit it. 'Alright.' You agreed, looking how surprised he all of the sudden got. You got up from your seat, starting to collect the plates. 'You know,' You felt silent while passing him, pulling his braid a little softly. 'It's kind of cute when you get all stressed out about it.' You chuckled, not giving in on your own feelings. 'You come?' He asked to be sure. You stood still aside his seat, contacting your eyes with his. 'If you dare to be alone with me.' You shrugged as a reply, smiling devilish.

Founding of Humanity - Animalist
This is the dawn of the age of mankind. It is time to push back the wilderness and establish the kingdoms and empires that will govern this land. Players, the elect of the gods, are now coming to help humanity fight back. The dark ages are ended, and now is the time to lay the foundation! Now is the time to establish civilization! This is the Founding of Humanity! I am building this world for my own amusement, releases are not on any kind of schedule. I got to thinking "what if a beast tamer was changed by what they tamed" and this game mechanic sprung to mind. I do not know where this story is going. The main character is becoming a skill hoarder, as that is an advantage of the class design. The game system in this story is insipred by Log Horizon and Sword Art Online, where you get a skill and that is the skill, instead of getting a skill and then leveling it through tiers and rankings.
