《Vikings, Mini Drabbles》Ubbe: Daughter with the dreams
Advertisement
You knew mother said something about not coming home, leaning you at the door gazing over the street, your bare feet pressed on the cold earth. 'Y/n.' You turned your head around, looking to Ubbe, your father who crouched down behind you. 'What are you looking at?' He asked.
'I'm not looking, I'm waiting for mother.' It wasn't all that perfectly said. Ubbe wrapped his arm around your chest and lifted you up in his arms. His other arm laid around your legs, causing you to lay horizontal. You giggled because he tickled his nose against your chest.
'She isn't coming home tonight. It's you and me.' He said with a smile and you smiled instant back. He putted you down on the bed, snuggling yourself on the bed.
'Is she coming back?' You asked quietly. Ubbe laid down aside you and your innocent eyes looked up to your father.
'She's always coming back, just like I always come back.' He promised you, placing a kiss on your hair. You squeezed your eyes together until you floated to dreamland.
The dream was a little scary; you stood in the middle of fighting people and were scared to dead. You looked around, hoping on seeing your father or mother but there was nobody around. A man dropped down on the ground and you yelled for the blood that dripped from his armor. 'Mother!' You screamed loudly. 'Father!'
'Y/n, wake up.' It was a voice somewhere in the distant. You started to cry, stumbling back over the dead bodies. 'Y/n!' You opened your eyes, gazing in the darkness, feeling the little tears rolling over your eyes. 'It was just a dream.' Ubbe whispered. You whimpered, crawling yourself closer to Ubbe and snuggling against his chest. He laid his arm around you, carefully stroking your back. You sobbed against his chest before lifting your head and looked up to your father.

'There was a fight, and you weren't there and I was scared.' You whispered. He strokes a strand of wet hair out of your face, looking at you in the darkness.
'It's a nightmare, you will never have to fight, you will be the princess.' He tried to cheer you up.
'But I want to fight, so I can fight my bad dreams.' You stated tired, yawning mouth wide open. Ubbe pulled your closer and you snuggled your face in de crook of his neck, wrapping your little arms around it.
'You can be both.' He suggested.
'Can I?' You asked.
'I know a good story about a girl that became a princess,' He began. You closed your eyes, listening to what your father told you. 'I never saw somebody fight like her, fearless, gracious and when she looked at me she smiled. She was no Viking, no Christian, she was just a lonely soul looking for a life. I got hurt, she helped me and I brought her here,' he felt silence. You wanted to ask something but your thoughts were already so far away. 'I married her and she became a princess. Now she is a queen and has a little princess waiting home that is slaying her bad dreams.' He placed his kiss against your hair. You took a very deep breath and when you released it you drifted entirely away. 'You can be both, I'm gonna keep your dreams safe.' You didn't hear that but you slept like a little rose for the rest of the night. And when you opened your eyes, still tired when the sun came up you still lied in your father's arms, only your mother was there and you squeezed your eyes back together, brave enough to battle that dream again, only ... he didn't came back.

Stranger than Fiction (Draft Edition)
Rewrite -> https://www.royalroad.com/fiction/55140/stranger-than-fiction 150k words of rewritten and new content, updating 3 times a day. Faith is like ice-cream. It comes in all flavors. Greek, Norse, Sumerian, Christian— just name it and it's there. Adventures, on the other hand, are like credit cards. The first taste is free, but the price only goes up from there. Family heirlooms, now those are true evil. You get burdened with them for sentimental reasons even if they’re icky. For Lukas Aguilar, it was a pendant. A small, weird metal nib with absolutely no vampiric tendencies. All he wanted was to finish the job at hand, and get on that book he had been postponing for a while now. Instead he got served with an apocalypse for breakfast, a cave full of eldritch monsters for the company and the whims of a ruined goddess for his To-Do list. Really, a simple NO from the universe would have sufficed. Acknowledgments Editor-in-Chief: Solo Starfish Artwork: Exodus

One Piece No Go No Ken
Work discontinued and ending. Other authors are free to message me if they want to take it A synopsis serves to attract attention without lying. This is useful because it gives a first impression of the novel, and immerse even before plunging into the story. Unfortunately, it does not count as one of my specialties. This fanfic is really peculiar and I think that few people will be able to appreciate it. So instead of trying to make you salivate, then have you disappointed, it would be better for you to make your own opinion, that is if you have time on your hands. If you do not like one piece or shounen animes, then you'd better turn back, as it would be a worthless read for you. If you've made it this far and have time to spare for yet one worthless attempt at making an original one-piece fanfic, then have a good read. N.B: I do not own one Piece or Fist of the north star, the image above, or any other anime/fictional character referenced in this fiction Please do not donate on this particular fanfic!

Points of Light - An Oral History of the Collapse
Humanity endures. The phrase is not only an informal slogan of the reformed United Nations, but a rallying cry the world over. Even in the face of extermination, we struggled, we fought, and we endured. But just how close did we actually come? In our darkest hour, how many steps separated our species from oblivion? And are we even safe now? Were the mistakes made by earlier generations really so obvious? Or are they only so blatent when we look back with the advantage of hindsight? If so, what horrors might be staring us in the face even now that no one has the foresight to prevent? Drawn from thousands of interviews, as well as uncorrupted contemporary recordings and source documentation dating back to the early 2000s; Points of Light is a definative look at the last half century of upheaval, prosperity and carnage. It tells the tale of what happened, how it happened, who was responsible and most importantly, what we might be able to do to prevent it from happening again. This is a rewrite of a previously started fiction under a pen-name. Chapters will be updated every two days at 6:00 EST.
