"Next." I shouted. I was starting to get really annoyed with people today. People were not taking this job seriously walking in like this was a job for a strip club. I ran my fingers through my hair and sighed loudly pinching the bridge of my nose. I turned my office chair away from the New York view and became faced with a beautiful young girl who had a smile on her face as if she did not have a care in the world. "Have a seat." I said to her harshly. She sat down and I eyed her suspiciously before I turned my gaze to look at her resume. She was a fresh graduate right out of college. Probably did not have any experience. "What is your name?" I said in a cold voice.

"My name is Aurora James and I assume you must be Alexander Mills?" She said with a smile of confidence.

"Why yes I am Alexander Mills and this is my company so why should I hire you?" I said.

"I think I would be a great addition to the company helping to better the company. I am an extremely hard worker and it during my college years I actually worked for a small non-profit company gaining experience. With that experience I can deliver what is stated in the job posting." She said.

"Interesting." I said out loud. I stood up from my seat and a small smile began to make its way on my lips. Her smile had started to rub off on me. I cleared my throat trying to break myself from the trance. "I want to see how hard you will work for my company and I am hiring you for the job. If I deem you unfit then, I will fire you immediately and have someone else take your place. So would you like the job?" I said with a smirk evident on my face.

"Yes I will gladly take you up on that offer. So when do I start?" Aurora said with a bright smile on her face.

"Monday at 8:30 sharp." I said also with a smile on my face. It had been a years since I have smiled like this. This unknown girl seemed to make me feel happier in her presence. Aurora left the office taking all the happiness with her. I grew cold again missing her presence. I don't know what was wrong with me at that moment. I felt happier. I stayed at the company to finish up some work for the company, but decided to just stay there. It was always so lonely in that house. If only I had happiness in my life.
