《Doctor Who : The Emerging Robots》The Autopsy

"Help... help... help..." A voice began to stammer from the body of the Sedranstak robot the Doctor had taken out only seconds before. He was using his screwdriver to try and escape the room by pressing it against a power supply connected to the door. "Help... me... Doc... tor..." The voice was inferring the body still had life but not enough to live. The voice was slightly more human like and carried more emotion in its tone.
"Oh wow. You are a true beauty. Oh you really are. I remember seeing something similar to this a few years back in Parallel London with the Cybermen. Very similar." He was so fascinated by this discovery.
"Where am I ?" The body began to go cold as it twitched after every bit of speech was said.
"You're onboard the Sedranstak ship, specifically in a cryogenic freezing chamber room. I was brought on only a few moments ago."
"You... pulled... my head... off."
"I had to. It was the only way to survive myself. I'm the only person who can save this planet from being stuck in time and from being the prey to predators and bounty hunters like yourselves."
"Where... is... Trevor? I... need... to... see... Trevor."
"What do you last remember ?"
"German soldiers... charging towards me... shotgun... failed... Trevor... dying... men dead... on Normandy... beach."
"D-Day. Oh you poor thing. Let's open this compartment. See what I can do." He got his sonic screwdriver out again and opened the chest of the clueless robot. When it was opened, the look of the Doctor's face went from sympathy to shock. The brain of the poor soldier was wired up to a voice box and the inside of the bot. This was what was allowing him to live slightly. He was not used to this. With the Cybermen, it was just an inhibitor device but this was certainly more advanced.

"I... feel... pain..."
"I know and I am so so sorry for what they've done to you. But I can only shut you down to end the pain."
"Thank... you... Doctor." With that statement, he unwired the brain, causing it to shut down and the unfortunate soldier to feel no more pain. He had suffered enough and now the Doctor had began to experience that pain, the pain of killing, something he could never get used to. As a mark of dominance to try and stop the other, he took the head of the deceased bot to alert just what he could do.
He proceeded to walk out of the cryogenic freezing chamber room with the head of one of the Sedranstak, head down in guilt. He used the screwdriver to lock the door behind him as he carried on walking towards the cockpit where the other robot was preparing for the crash.
5 minutes to go...

A Friendly Voidling
When a Creature of the Void fails to find friendship among her own kind, she instead sets her sights upon another, human-filled world. Unfortunately, humans turn out to be rather small and squishy things, resulting in a mostly accidental trail of death, destruction and madness as she embarks on her journey to finally make some friends. This is a 25k word inane short story, and makes no attempt at being serious or realistic. It's my first attempt at trying a more comedic writing style. No relation to my other stories, aside from a brief cameo. Cover bodged together with Charat Genesis. Not quite the design I had in mind, but reasonably close. Doesn't contain explicit smut, but does contain references to stuff happening off-screen. May contain traces of gore. Also eels, in varying states of distress. Posted here and scribblehub.
