As all the guests left to go to bed I went to my quarters as always... this time I was on Chapter 3, I opened that book read quietly then dozed off.

I woke up to a peaceful morning, I served the guests eggs and bacon, my favorite. We toured the astounding Rue Manor garden, after we stopped for lunch. I counted the people, five, we originally had eight. I gazed into the garden, there were roses, dandelions, tulips, and many other wonderful plants. I saw in the center of the garden a hedge maze, I sighed. I had an idea to what the killer has set up today. I then saw a note on the table, it read:

Welcome guests to another round of my "killer" game. I have trapped you poor friends Sabrina, Nathaniel, and Alexander! They remain in the center of my maze. Your job is to search the maze and be the first to find them before it's too late... farewell guests, I know I'm dying to get this game started.

Giles then read the card out loud to all of the guests. Giles watched them all enter the maze... and as they did the roses seemed to almost wither away just like the contestants would.
