Everyone thought this was to be a normal, relaxing two week vacation. How very wrong they were.

13 Unlucky guest arrived on a Sunday afternoon. After a long plane ride from all over areas of America, they were glad to finally arrive at the manor they were promised a two week long, all expenses payed trip. The manor was called Rue Manor, in Beverly Hills, California. The manor was glorious! A large, grand marble staircase greets them as they enter the estate. Not only that, but in the foyer, sits a grand piano of the darkest ebony. Luxurious, hand sewn carpets and tapestries drape the floors and windows. Silk, satin, and suede couches, chairs, and chase lounges fill the great room with a sense of elegance.

The upstairs is just a regal. A total of 16 bedrooms with on-suite baths line the long corridor. 13 of the bedrooms are for the guest, 2 for each of the maids, and one for the manor butler, Thomas. Plush, red carpeting and silky smooth sheets are what you will find in the astonishing bedrooms. As well as marble counter tops and lovely gold work throughout the bedrooms and bathrooms.

However, the guest are not here to fully enjoy the estate. The true reason, is a game. A game of guessing and investigation. A game, of death! While 13 guest are currently residing at the manor, the number will soon drop. Each day, one unfortunate guest will be killed. It is then the job of the remaining contestants to figure out exactly how the victim breathed their last breath. They then will "state their case" and the killer shall watch them do so. The person with the worst assumption of the death will be the next... to die. However there is a twist, the killer is one of the guest. A true test of the need to survive!

A large, black and chrome bus pulls up through the long, twisting drive-way. The guest see amazing landscaping, as well as beautiful iron gates and a glistening pool. They then pull up to the entrance of the front door. 2, large iron with gold leafing doors slowly open. The guest are then greeted by the butler, and the 2 maids. "Aha! I see the guest have finally arrived at the manor!" Thomas exclaims. "So it seems." Tina, one of the maids, sulks. "Just more work for us." Gina, the second maid, says dully. "Welcome to Rue Manor! Please, do enter!" The guest enter, a bit cautious of the eerie surroundings and odd welcome. They enter to the large great room and sit down, putting their luggage on their sides. "Let's all introduce ourselves, shall we? I am Thomas, the butler here at Rue Manor, and I shall cater to your every whim." He continues. "These 2 are Tina and Gina, the maids of the manor, and shall tidy your suites as well as the rest of the manor." He nods to the first person. A male of about 5' 7", lean, with dark brown hair, dark brown eyes, and very tan.

"Hello" he says, loudly, but focusing on the grand marble fireplace in front of him. "I'm David Calbourt. I'm 29 year old, and I'm a doctor in Atlanta, Georgia." The next male to his left begins. He is about 2 inches tall than david, with short, black hair and brown eyes. As well as pale skin. "Walt Yxing." He smiles, attempting to lighten the mood. "I'm 48 years old and I'm a cop in New York City." A female then begins. She is shorter than the two males, around 5' 3" with long, jet black hair and blue eys. "Hi!" she says cheerfully. "I'm Paige Heffton, I'm a college student at Yale University!" The folling girl goes next. "Umm. Hi." she says shyly. She has dirty blond hair and is about 6' tall. "I'm Olivia Miraz, and I'm a rockette." They continue through each guest. "Greg Simon" ... "Jennie Fallow" ... "Alex Bas" ... "Katie Shores" ... "Sammi Foy" ... "Winter Applegate." The next two males to go are brothers. "Evan and Kyle Holt." And Finlay "Kallista Fame." "Now that we've all gotten to know each other, please feel free to explore the property, engage in social activity, or freshen up. We will be having an early dinner and we prefer you to dress formal." Thomas states. "You may leave."

The guest then slowly rise, each heading to their rooms. The rooms sit on the second floor, lined on a grand marble hallway. They enter their room, cautiously, and slowly unpack and unwind into the manor. The males dress in handsome button down shirts and ties, while the ladies wear long, elegant dresses. The prepare their hair and faces, and head downstairs. Though one guest, took a much different route!

A dead body lies on the floor in front of the fish tank. Their seems to be some bruise marks, but otherwise the only way you would be able to tell they were dead is that their chest was not moving. "Olivia!" Jennie shouts. She begins to weep into her hands. "Holy shit." Greg gasps. Olivia Miraz's body, stiff and cold, dead on the floor. "My oh my!" Thomas exclaims, with a hint of shock within his voice. "It seems as if Olivia has sadly, passed." Many weep and sigh with sorrow. "She must have accidentally fallen from the top of the staircase. Then plummeted to her doom." Thomas explains. "What's that, on top of the fish tank?" Walt points to a small, white, rectangular card atop the fish tank. "Good eyes Mr. Yxing!" Thomas states. "It seems to be a note." The guest watch, with a look of worry and curiosity in their eyes.

"Olivia, a rockette so tall. Olivia took quiet a fall. Try to find a clue or two, and you might solve what is true. Figure out was is right, or it could be your very last night." The guest stare wide-eyed at the words that had just poured from the butlers mouth. "Seems as if we are playing a game of life and death." Sami shivers. "So it would seem."

"You may investigate one of three areas to depict how Mrs. Miraz passed. The morgue, where her body lay cold. The last known whereabouts, which in this case, is her bedroom. Finally the crime scene, where detective skills shall be put to the test. You may discuss with others to plan how you would like to achieve the information. Trust who you please, but remember, if you put together the worst assumption of how she died, you could be the next to go. The killer is amongst you, my guest." Thomas finishes with an eerie boom. The guest then form groups, one of 3, another of 4, and a final one of 5. Group one consist of Walt, Dave and Winter. "We each should take one area" explains Walt. "That way we can each share information to merge together a perfect scenario of the crime." "If we can trust you, that is" Winter says suspiciously. The following group houses Kallista, Katie, Evan and Kyle. "As long as we can retain all the information we each need, we should be safe from the killer's wrath!" "However, can we even trust each other?" "Yeah, will we all bring back EVERY little bit of information?" As Katie, Evan and Kyle discuss, Kallista stares out the window, a desperate look in her eyes as the wind bellows through her black hair. "Let's just go." The last group of Jennie, Paige, Sami, Greg, and Alex finalize their plan. "How about two of you take one area, two take the other, and I'll do mine by myself." Alex instructs. "So you can plan how you'll murder next?" questions Paige. "Let's not fight now" "Exactly, the task at hand is to find information." Jennie interrupts "The task at hand is staying alive because somebody here is a murderer."

"I hope you all have made a smart decision on where you shall piece together your crime! Who would like to view the body of the deceased at the morgue?" Thomas asks the crowd of worried house guest. Dave, Katie, Greg and Paige raise their hands and follow Tina out the hallway down stairs to the Morgue within the Manor. "The bedroom of Olivia?" Winter, Jennie, Sami, Evan and Kyle raise their hand and follow Gina and proceed up the grand staircase to her suite. "So the three of you would like to gather your evidence at the crime scene." Thomas directs to Walt, Alex, and Kallista.

THE MORGUE: Her body lay lifeless atop a stainless steel medical table. Her skin is pale, almost snow white, and her lips are drained of color. A large, white towel covers her from her torso to her knees. Olivia, now dead. "She looks so cold" Katie expresses, almost fearful of the corpse before her. "All that really seems to be present are the bruise wounds from her fall. That cannot be the cause of death." Meanwhile the conversation, Paige lifts up the body to the side to examine Olivia's back. "But that can" gasps Greg. A large, circular gash with a giant silver ball-bearing lodged inside the back of Olivia's head is revealed. "A bullet wound!" exclaims Katie. "In case you didn't realize, there was no gunshot noise." Dave points out. "Oh right..." Katie blushes. "This is a crucial piece of information that could really determine whether we live or die, if we use the information correctly." "Our groups will have to share information with us so we can make a more accurate conclusion."

THE LAST KNOW WHEREABOUTS: A luxurious red carpet cloaks the floor as you enter her bedroom. Nothing really seems to be out of place, her bedsheets are slightly wrinkled, and her suite case sits on the bench in front of the bed, top down, but not zippered. "Nothing. Just nothing" pouts Evan. "Shut-up you idiot, there's always something." Kyle retorts. Brothers will always be brothers. The two brothers continue to search the areas around the bed. Sami looks within the dressers and on the nightstand to look for clues. Jennie and Winter head into her bathroom, only to find a most crucial piece of evidence. The steam from Olivia's previous shower had not evaporated and using the condensation on the mirror is a note. "Meet me at the top of the staircase for pictures." Jennie hushes Winter, for this information could save their lives. They exit quickly, acting calm and casual. "Well?" Kyle asks them. "Nothing" Jennie sighs. Seems we got the bad end of the investigation. The 5 detectives exit the room, not knowing two of them hold information that could save their very souls.

THE CRIME SCENE: Kallista, Walt and Alex walk in. The fish tank seems ordinary, there are small blood splotches on the plush carpeting, but other than that, nothing seems to pop out. The crime scene extends to the top of the stairs and partially into the hallway. Kallista begins to walk up, and Alex follows her, curious of what she might discover. Free-from puddles of blood line the edge of the hallway, about where Olivia took her final bow. The railing also seems to have a small indent, indicating where she fell from. "If there are puddles of blood up here, then Olivia didn't die when she fell, she died earlier." Alex suggest. "Could be." Kallista says quietly. "You are awfully suspicious" "You're awfully annoying."

"I trust you gathered all the clues and information needed to bring back and discuss with the others" Thomas gestures, "Please, engage in conversation with each other." The guest quickly form their groups and begin to discuss their findings at their areas. Group 1 sits on the patio outside. "So I went to the morgue." Dave explains. "There were typical bruises from a high fall, however stuck into the back her her head, was a silver bullet." His group mates gasp. "There was literally NOTHING in her bedroom. Just a few ruffled bed sheets, to be expected." Winter adds "I'm sorry I couldn't bring back more information." she adds a sad face, completely masking the lie she just told. "Crime scene was bare, too. Nothing interesting, just the blood from her fall on the carpet. Well just have to figure out how it happened." Walt finishes. Group 2 uses the large sofa to exchange information. "Nothing really at the last known whereabouts." Evan sighs. "Almost like they wanted us to fail there." Kyle finishes. "The crime scene was okay. I went up the stairs to find blood puddles already at the top of the stairs, about where Olivia fell." Kallista says dully. "So she didn't die when she hit the ground, she died earlier, I think." Kallista says quickly. "Well I got the golden ticket!" Katie shouts. "In the back of Olivia's head, was a silver bullet, so she died from some kind of gun shot." "Good job Katie!" Evan pats her on the back. Jennie, Paige, Sami, Greg and Alex gather in the study. "A large, silver bullet was in the back of her head!" Paige states. "Wow." Alex says. "It turns out, Olivia didn't die when she fell, she died before, because there were blood stains at the end of the hall." "Seems we did pretty good" Jennie finishes. "I see you all have finished your findings. Now, the killer has left a riddle."

"I hold 12 keys, for one you must need. However, where do this golden keys lead? Only one lock will open with these keys, try as you please. A huge clue will be revealed, so go discover what is sealed. Take this to your own measure, and discover a very deadly treasure. Sincerely, your Killer." The guest, amazed and confused, run to the silver platter that holds the golden keys. They then spread around the house, trying to fit the keys into any lock they can get their hands on.

Alex, Evan and Kyle run to the study. They search around the area, moving books, tables and chairs. They see 2 large grand doors, with golden locks. Kyle dashes and reaches the door first, and inserts the key. He forces to twist it, but nothing happens. "Dang it!" he spits. The three males run out the study, hoping to solve the riddle first. Winter, Dave, and Walt all run down to the basement lower level. They try glass doors, the wooden doors to the theatre, and many more locks across the basement hallway. Nothing was seeming to work. Greg, Jennie, Sami and Paige try the golden regal doors that lead to the pool front, they had the same luck as the other groups of seekers. Katie and Kallista run upstairs. They try every single suit door, and Kallista runs into Olivia's room to try the closet doors. However Katie continues to run down the hallway until she finds a large wooden chest with gold bracing. She slips her key into the lock, turns it to the left, and the lifts the top up. "A camera?" she questions. A loud bell rings, signalling the rest of the guest to gather in the great room. Katie still examines the camera. "Take a picture." Those words written on a note on the back of the camera. She faces it towards the wall, and clicks button. A silver bullet shoots out from the lens and crashes into the wall, leaving a dent "Ah!" Katie shrieks and jumps back in alarm. She then races to join the other guest.

"Katie! You solved the riddle! Congratulations, feel free to share the information with whom you please." Thomas exits. Katie first sits with her group of Kyle, Evan and Kallista. "What happened?" "What did you find?" Kyle and Evan ask, impatiently. "A camera." "Camera?" Kallista questions. "The camera button was actually a trigger, when I pressed it, a bullet shot out of the lens. "Oh my goodness!" exclaims Evan. "This is huge information" Kyle states. "Who do we share it with?" "No one." Kallista says, with a dark edge into her voice. "I think Jennie and Winter were hiding something at the bedroom, we could exchange information with her" suggest Kyle. "I'll go to her" Kallista states. She stand up, pushes her chair back, and walks over to the group of 3 people.

"Hey, Winter, can we talk?" "Sure..." Winter responds cautiously. "We are willing to tell you and your group what we-" "What Katie discovered." Winter interrupts. "A gun was installed into a camera, and when attempting to take a picture, it shot a bullet out." Kallista explains. "That explains a lot. Here's some information to exchange. The killer wrote on the mirror 'meet me to take pictures' so it must have seemed normal to her. Until she was shot. Thank you" Winter says. "Same to you" Kallista replies.

"We have almost nothing." the 3rd group paces around a small desk in the study. "I haven't been completely honest guys." Jennie starts. "I didn't tell you about something I discovered at the last known wearabouts. The killer left a note on the mirror telling Olivia to come to the hallway front." "Why didn't you tell us before!" Greg grumbles. "It doesn't matter, it's clear the other two groups are doing the best." Paige sighs. "We'll just have to piece together what we can." finished Sami.

The guest then retreat to their rooms, they may either talk with themselves or write down theories. They guest must put together how they think the crime was committed. Then, one by one, will be taken into a room to "state their case" and then will confess who they believe is the killer. The killer will then select the person with most accurate theory. The killer will also choose two more more people to receive "scare cards' in which they will be nominated to be the next guest to be murdered. To be safe, you must receive a spare card. This shall be revealed over a formal dinner.

The guest enter the study one by one. Some carry paper, others only hold thoughts and ideas of how this crime was committed. The ladies are dressed in luxurious dresses, while the gentlemen wear button downs and ties. They then say how they believe Olivia was killed. They finish with their guess of who they believe which guest is the killer. Some hold their heads high, other slump nervously into the room.

"Guest, today has been an exhausting day, so please enjoy London broil!" The guest each open their tray to discover a well prepared stake and mashed potato meal. It smells warm and delicious. "Sit down to enjoy a normal meal, for once." Paige states. The guest begin to dig into their meal. They start with a small Caesar salad and then savor their stake. They engage in small-talk, however everyone has one question burning in the back of their mind. "Who will die, who will live?" Their question is answered when Thomas walks in the dining room.

"My dear guest, the killer has selected one of you to have taken this crime to new heights! Congratulations... Kyle!" The guest clap and Evan pats his brother on the back. "Thank you, oh Lord." he sighs with relief. "You have made the most accurate assumption of how Olivia Miraz took her last breath. Shall we all hear of how she passed?" Thomas asks, though he really didn't need an answer.
