Diana!
It's been far too long since one of us intruded on the other with an email or an invitation for coffee. Sadly, unless you're in Ecekasuri at the moment, I don't think we'll be able to get together anytime soon.
Despite our physical distance, I wanted to reach out and give you a gift. Attached is the first portion of an old text—a transcribed oral history of some variety, if I had to guess—we stumbled across. Apparently, the bomb that decimated that city a couple of years back, opened up some old tunnels. We haven't managed to date this thing yet, but it's written in some Ecekasurian dialect that our translator couldn't make sense of. Everyone here is a modernist and whatever this monstrosity is, it is way outside of our realm of expertise.
You, however, nearly got a doctorate in Old Ecekasurian Linguistics before you decided that you wanted to be a writer. Not that I've seen any new books with your name on them as of late. Consider this a favor. Translating some old text might help you shake that writer's block. If not, I'm sure the pay will support your all-take-out diet.

To my dearest Diana,
You can really tell that awe-inspiring email was written by a bestselling author. Your way with words always inspires.
Anyway, feel free to take your time with the translation. I've sent a couple of the more trustworthy kids to the next city over with a sample to see if we can get a date on these pages. Until we know this thing is real and not some elaborate prank, I don't think I can talk the university into sponsoring a longer translation. However, considering that it's been two days since your last email and you've yet to email me back screaming about how I've wasted your time on a fake, I'm feeling somewhat optimistic.

I don't want to be preemptive in my celebrations but there are only a handful of people in this world who know enough Old Ecekasurian to fool you, Diana, and all of them have much better things to be doing with their time than this.

Send me the rest of those pages. Now.
I've attached what I've translated so far. Read it. And tell me when the date on those pages comes back. ASAP. If they're real then you've found one of the most valuable Ecekasurian texts in existence.
Referred to as "Darkest Shadow" in the only other surviving fragments, this appears to be a completed version of Nerluce Hebikoti's fall from grace.

A Magic Sniper in Another World
Zack Blake, a boy of contradictions. Stupidly smart, selfishly selfless and responsively reckless. How will he fare up in a world where he doesn't belong? Caught in the crossfires of a conspiracy, follow his adventures as he tries to save the two worlds he holds most dear. Above is a new, shorter synopsis whilebelow is the original one. Zack Blake. A normal high school student, was leisurely studying in his classroom. Or that was what's supposed to happen if he was normal. He was the son of a Major Genral and became a Special Lieutenant at the age of 17 and saved his school from terrorists, only to die due to a bullet wound. When he awoke. Yes. Awoke. He was in a completely white space and saw a white haired girl looking at him. "Hello, Zack. I'm an Overseer named Alia. And welcome to my realm" Given a choice to die as is or be sent into another world, what will he do? Watch over Zack as he tries to survive and enjoy a world of swords and magic full of action, mystery and adventure by battling demons, humans and even Gods. Constructive Criticism is accepted. I wish to improve my writing, and this story would be the first novel i've ever written... Updates will be posted very erratically. If you will rate this story less than 3 stars, please do leave a review so I will know what the problem was in the story. Cover art is not mine and I found it here. If the artist wants it taken down, I shall comply. Hiatus until summer kicks in. It's a bit of a mess right now. Also, please check out my other fiction, Alice in Magicland. AIML will be active since it's much easier to write than this novel.

Getting Hard (Journey of a Tank)
Herald Stone always built tank characters in every MMORPG he played. To be immortal—that was his first Goal, a simple childhood dream. However, the turbulent realities of life put an end to his gaming days. Years passed, and Herald Stone, now having attained success and stability, was presented with the opportunity to redeem himself...to fulfill his first Goal. Trivial? Childish? Others might think so. But Herald Stone always fulfilled his Goals—every single one. No matter what. Immortality beckoned in Mother Core Online, and this time Herald Stone would answer. Choosing a long-forgotten race, hidden away in an unknown region, the journey of an immortal tank begins. This is the tale of Herald Stone...getting hard. Schedule: Mon-Wed-Fri ~1.8k-2.3k words per chapter. Also published on Scribblehub. My other ongoing story: REND | Royal Road Expect a focus on building a true tank in MMORPGs. Heavy game elements and numbers are present. But actual math will take a backseat to strategies involving skill builds and synergies that steadily become more complex while remaining understandable. The main character is atypical in LitRPGs or web novels as a whole. He might take some getting used to. Character arcs will develop over a long period. What you see now will be different as the main character changes. The start of Getting Hard is slow-paced (more so than others of the genre) and includes world-building and character development before focusing on the LitRPG.
