Ο Άγριος κυνήγι OR the Wild Hunt)

It had been a normal day at Camp Half Blood. Annabeth had been designing the promised cabin for Kymopoleia or Kym, nicknamed by Percy and Jason. Just then Malcom came running into the Athena cabin, panting hard which resulted in a lot of sweating.

Annabeth laughed out in surprise, "Malcom, you like you have seen a ghost."

"Almost." Malcom muttered under his breathe.

"What was that?" Annabeth frowned in confusion.

"Oh nothing. It's just that-"

"MALCOM! WHAT'S TAKING YOU SO LONG? I THOUGHT I TOLD YOU TO HURRY!"

And in came the goddess of wisdom into her own cabin, in all her glory. Annabeth stared at her mother as if her mother had grown a second head.

She bowed in respect, "Mother, I sense an aura of anxiousness around you. Is everything alright?"

"No nothing is alright Annabeth. You must come with me right now."

Annabeth knew better than to question. She quickly closed her eyes. Before flashing out Annabeth heard her mom said with sudden tenderness in her voice, "Malcom, you have been a very good son. Tell the others that their mother – Athena- sends love for them and to never lose their courage. This might be the last time you see me or Annabeth. "

After hearing those words, Annabeth tensed up thinking over all the possibilities that would make her mother say such....sentimental words. But before she could get carried away by her thoughts, a bright light swallowed her.

"Father? What are you doing here?" Percy looked at him in bewilderment.

"There's no time to explain, Percy! You must come with me right now." Poseidon stared at him with his big eyes, fear clearly written across his face.

"But you must tell me what happened."

"Percy!" Poseidon said with a note of warning as well as finality in his voice, "We are going to my hiding place, right now!"

Percy tried to talk but something was preventing him from doing so. Maybe it was his father, who slapped up an invisible duct tape across his mouth with his invisible hand? Percy wasn't sure.

Δύναμη του Ο θάλασσες

According to their plan, the two gods had to be separated so that if they are caught, they are not caught together. At least two of them would escape. As Poseidon already had access to his own personal palace, he didn't worry about being blocked away from entering their enemy's domain. But Athena did have to worry and that made her extremely furious. It was known by everyone that Poseidon and Athena were sworn enemies for the rest of their immortal lives. Naturally, the palace in the sea will block its enemies from entering their master's domain especially if it is a secret hiding place.

Being the goddess of wisdom and all, Athena new that Poseidon loved sacrifices. He always wants one red bull (A real red bull or the drink-you decide). But when it came to his enemies, Poseidon preferred blood sacrifices. But when Athena and Annabeth flashed into the spot, everything went wrong.

Firstly, they weren't supposed to land in the middle of the sea, a coast would have been better. Secondly, it gave the two women less time to think about anything clever as they were busy focusing on how to avoid getting drowned.

"Annabeth! Quickly give me your hand!" Athena shouted over the waves which crashed against one another.

Annabeth was wildly thrashing her hand, trying to keep her hand. Athena couldn't think of anything. It was almost as if the water was numbing her senses.

"MOTHER!" screamed Annabeth. "HELP!"

"ANNABETH!" Athena knew that it was impossible to reach Annabeth. She had floated far away from her. She couldn't flash there because the water was preventing it from happening. She brandished her dagger which was tucked into her boots and cut her palm. Ichor started coming out the wound and the waters of the sea started to ripple as if it was happy that the enemy was surrendering. But the waves continued crashing against one another.

"ANNABETH, CUT YOUR PALM. CUT YOUR PALM!"

Annabeth gave a response which included showing her dagger to her mother and the palm of her hand. Her hand tightly gripped the metal of the weapon and then quickly slid it from her wrist. Drops of blood fell on the water and then all of a sudden the waves stopped crashing against each other and the sea became calm once again.

Athena swam towards her daughter and finally reached her and hugged her hard. The demigod returned her mother's hug. What the two women didn't notice was the shadow which stood at a safe distance and watching and observing all the commotion.

"Issss it ready?" asked one empousa, Kampe.

"No. I'm afraid that you must give us some more time, my lady." The voice of the cyclops wavered a bit at 'giving some more time part).

The she-demon slapped the poor cyclops. "I want it ready, BY TOMORROW! OR ELSE YOU MIGHT SAY GOODBYE TO YOUR FAMILY!"

The cyclops whimpered a bit and bowed and left the room.

"Soon, my master will rise. And this time, he will be ready. This time the Olympians will fight a war which they cannot hope to win. Soon Olympus will be ours."
