If I'm sorry for you, then I have to feel sorry for me.

I want to hug you and tell you it's going to be alright, but I can't. Since I don't know if it will be. And I can't give you false hope, we already lost enough of hope as it is.

So I'm going to talk, talk about what's been really going on in my head. You relate as well, which makes me sad, but comforted by the fact that it means I'm not alone struggling with it. I can't help you, I wish I could. But I'm going through the same thing with the same knowledge that you have during this battle, so how could I help you fight this? I don't know. But I'm willing to listen and be there for you.

It makes a big difference in someone's life. It's a good feeling to know you aren't the only one struggling.

But please don't give up. It'll hurt too much to see another soul go, especially if it was intentional.

I know it hurts, it hurts like hell to feel this way. It changes how you view the world, yourself, and it feeds you lies to the point where you're questioning if people would even care if you were dead. I know how it feels. We'll get through this together, one step at a time.
