----Benji's PoV----
I scrolled through the site and skimmed through it quickly trying to pick out the most obvious bits. My stomach turned with guilt as I read more and more of the article. I felt sick as my eyes skimmed the page on abortion. I bit my lip as my eyes narrowed.
"What are you so angry at?" I heard Jamie's voice come from the door. Panic filled me and I slammed my laptop shut. I felt a life cold sweat cover my skin as I looked up and my panicked eyes locked with Jamie's confused ones.
"N-Nothing!" I said stepping in front of my desk and laptop.
"Well then what are you hiding from me?"
"Nothing. I already said nothing" I said putting my hand on my laptop.
"And now you're lying about it?" Jamie said his eyes narrowing.
"I'm not lying about anything" I said moving my hands to my hips.
"Tell me" Jamie said walking closer and reaching for my laptop. I hit his hand away and glared at him.
"Let it alone Jamie" I said grabbing the computer and making my way out of the office. I growl out in frustration and pull at my hair. Why does all this have to happen, what did I do to deserve this! My face relaxes and I sit on the bed letting my hands fall into my lap.
"I don't have time for this" I sigh and and remember all the paperwork still needing to be done. I sit on the bed and flip open my laptop. I take one more look at the pape I had open before and shake my head closing it.
"You don't have time for this Ben, come on. You need to get work done, just focus on that" I tell myself opening my emails. I only get to work for about two hours before Luke peeking his head in the bedroom.

"Love?" he asked softly pulling my attention from my laptop.
"What Luke?" I sighed trying to continue my working.
"Are you ok?" He asked walking over to my bed and sitting next to me.
"I'm fine, are you ok?" I sneered continuing on my computer.
"Please Ben, I'm sorry love. You know I really love you right?"
"What do you need Luke?"
"I just want to make sure your ok. I know you're mad, I just want you to be happy. I'm so sorry I ruined everything for you baby. Still this is where we are now; there is nothing we can do to change it, we just need to adjust to where we are now."
"Luke-" I tried to start but he cut me off.
"What are you planning?" He said the softness gone from his voice and suspicion in his eyes.
"I-I'm not planning anything what are you talking about, I'm not planning anything" I said letting my eyes drift to the left and my am coming around my stomach.
"Benjamin Tarquin. What. Are.You. Planning." he says in a dangerous tone.
"Luke, don't take that tone with me." I said sanding my ground. I could feel fear bubble in my stomach but I shove it down.
"Don't hurt our child Ben, under any circumstance. Please." he said pulling my hand from my stomach making me gasp at the surprising and fast movement.
"Go away Luke, let me be." I said throwing my head to the side and scoffing. He gritted his teeth but let go nonetheless. He gave me a hurt look before turning with slouched shoulders and leaving the room. Shit they are on to me.

The False Paladin
Divine Paladins, a title given to those who were blessed with the Lord's Favor, are the pillars of the kingdom of Calorin. However, a kingdom cannot simply be built from ideals of honor and duty. Sir Roel, the 58th Divine Paladin, knows that he's no hero. His sword is fake, his actual powers are middling, and his thoughts grow more cynical with every passing day. Upon receiving his next task, an order to assassinate a member of royalty, he wonders if the only thing he can do is bow his head and obey. Set in a medieval-era world in which brute strength is often subordinate to the schemes and machinations of the ruling class, this is a low fantasy story about a hero who struggles not only against monsters but also the idea that he's supposed to be the one fighting them. This fiction updates once to twice a week and each chapter is a minimum of 1000 words.
