-------------Benji's PoV----------

I stared at the ceiling as my stomach grumbled. I needed food but Jamie and Luke were down there and I didn't. No I can't be near Luke and Cyprus. I cautiously walk down the stars and hear a movie playing, there in the living room. I hang my head and heed Jamie move so I look over and he puts his nose up with his back turned to me. Suddenly a sharp pain shoots through my body. This was like nothing I've felt before. Pain shoots through my spine and my heart. Every breath I took felt like fire was filling my lungs, my whole body felt like it was being tased by a thousand tasers. I fell to my knees and Jamie rushed over.

"Benji what's wrong babe?!" Jamie yells looking me over. I reach out to Jamie to tell him I'll be ok but I don't make it befor I pass out.

-----------Luke's PoV------------

Jamie pulls up to the pack house and opens the door rushing to the house glaring at me as I walk behind him. He rolls his eyes and takes Benjamin from my arms. He can easily be picked up by Jamie. It's like they switched heights, Jamie got taller and Benjamin got shorter. I follow close behind as he runs through the pack house like a crazy man as he receives confused looks. He runs to the clinic and the doctors head shoots up.

"Please, help." Jamie begged tears streaming down his face

"What happened" Jean asked putting him on a hospital bed

"I don't know, his eyes turned white he collapsed and gripped his chest. It wasn't a heart attack, nor a stroke" Jamie said standing behind the doctor.

"How do you know?" Jean asked checking his vitals.

"I have a minor in MD, I never finished it all. not wants important now" Jamie said rushing Jean. Jean nodded and scribbled on a chart hanging it on the foot of Benjamin's bed. Jean lifted his shirt to reveal several bruises that were blue and purple.

"What happened!?" Jamie asked surprised and worried.

"Blunt force" Jean said poking a bruise making the still sleeping Benjamin filinch.

"I understand that, but I've only seen these once he said he had it under control. He doesn't leave the house much other than to go to the coven house, no one would or could hurt him there" Jamie said ask his eyes flashed red in anger. I couldn't tell him it was me, he would hate me.

"Well who is with him all day, you two?" Jean asked as I glare at him.

"No, I work, Luke is with...him...all...day" Jamie said turning to me and glaring and tears flooding his eyes.

"You, did you do this" Jamie said stomping over to me.

"I'm sorry" I said reaching out for him

"NO! YOU BEAT HIM" Jamie yelled punching me and knocking my down on my ass. "HE'S YOUR MATE JUST AS MUCH AS I AM" He yelled storming out. Jean looked surprised and kinda disgusted, as well as guilty. He knew what this was, it was the effects of rejection. He rejected his mate for a while, too.

"How long has this been going on, the rejection" Jean said with a bit of that 'I'm disappointed-in-you' voices all parents have. I flinched slightly at it, I can take people feeling lot of things towards me, but I hate having someone disappointed in me.

"2 or 3 months" I say putting on a emotionless face.

"2 OR 3 MONTHS! HOW IS HE NOT DEAD!" Jean yelled rechecking him.

"What are you talking about" I asked rolling my eyes, if was going to kill him it would have already.

"A mate after being rejected will live for up to a month, they start to die at about 2 weeks and its a long and painful death. Benjamin should be dead, he's very strong." Jean said gripping his clipboard and he mumbled something under his breath.

"What was that?" I asked at the mutter

"NO THANKS TO YOU!" Jean yelled in my face glaring. I may be a higher rank, but he needs to be able to command an alpha to leave a mate. He can surely make me listen, I would never tell him that though. He stomped out of the room leaving me alone with a outcold Benjamin. I rolled my eyes and left for one the guest rooms in the pack house.It was about 11 o'clock so was tierd. I climbed into the bed alone. I close my eyes and let sleep take over.

-------Dream------

I was in the corner of a bedroom, my bedroom at the house. A body squirmed under the blanket, Jamie's head popped up. A grown came from under the covers and arms came out to grab Jamie.

"Luke get up, can't you smell that" Jamie said pulling my arm. My head head popped up after that and took a deep breath, a smile crossed my face. Jamie got up quickly and pulled me with him. I followed the dream me and my dream mate. We walked to the kitchen, we saw Benjamin at the stove. I walked up behind him and wrapped my arms around him. He tensed and I kissed behind his ear making his relax. He turned in my arms and nuzzled into my chest.

"You shouldn't be up, love" I said kissing his forehead.

"I know, but I wanted to make us breakfast." Benjamin said as I let him go. I kneeled down and lifted his shirt that covered a bump. I kissed his pregnant belly.

"Love, your two months pregnant. you half way through your pregnancy, you need to rest." I said picking him up and he wrapped his arms and legs around me as I went over and sat on a chair at the table. Jamie grabbed the spatial and flipped the last pancakes and put them on a plate with the rest. I moved Benji to more of a sitting position. I grabbed a few pancakes and sausage from the plates. Benji smiled at me before taking our plate and moving to Jamie's lap. Jamie wrapped his arms around Benji. I pouted at him as he giggled again cuddling into Jamie's chest. Jamie stuck his tongue out to me. I rolled my eyes and took Jamies plate so I would have one serving and they would have two. I leaned over and kissed Benji and Jamie before everything went dark.

I shot up with a dry sweat, oh god what have I done to my mate?!
