1.Describe yourself, anything and everything you want us to know? What should i expect if i meet you?
A.L Winter: I would describe myself as an introvert really, a go getter, determined, and spontaneous person. To tell the truth, I'm pretty down to earth and am a very caring person. If you were to meet me? That's a tough question. If you were to meet me I'd be myself, someone who loves sarcasm and can be a bit too blunt sometimes.
pt2:State three qualities about yourself that could make anyone recognize you from a huge crowd of people ?
A.L Winter: I would describe myself as an introvert really, a go getter, determined, and spontaneous person. To tell the truth, I'm pretty down to earth and am a very caring person. If you were to meet me? That's a tough question. If you were to meet me I'd be myself, someone who loves sarcasm and can be a bit too blunt sometimes.
2. What is the story behind your username ? When, where, how and why you entered the world of writing? Give us your own cute writer story :)
A.L Winter: The story behind my username is kind of an inside joke for my grade. My last name of Winter for my username (because I write under a surname) is because we made our teacher back in seventh grade a fake husband with the last name of Winter. Amythest is really just because when I used to dance, the girl that I always looked up to and wanted to dance like was named Amythest. I entered the world of writing in third grade really. I wrote small stores about some fictional land about my friends and I (which I would love to make into a novel sometime). From there on writing became something I would enjoy, where I could create this form of tunnel vision and be in my own world and create things.
3. What does writing mean to you and why? do you ever think of taking it as a career ? why and why not?
A.L Winter: Writing to me is like an escape, a paradise away from stress and anxiety where I can become myself. I've thought of maybe writing novels to the side when older, but it's not what I truly want to do because I enjoy science and math so much I don't want to give them up. If there's one thing I love more than writing, it's those two subjects and I spend hours just reading about discoveries and nerdy jokes.
pt2:What would you say to your fans/readers? Do you have a name for them?
A.L Winter: To my fans and readers, I mainly say to them how thankful I am for their support of my writing. These people encourage me everyday to get up and write a new chapter because they enjoyed the previous so much. For them, I sometimes just call them FINM (family I've never met) because I see them as a larger part of my family due to the support they give me.
4. Give your hobbies, and favourites and things you hate.Give your strengths, weaknesses, pet peeves, hobbies, passion, dreams, desires about you and your characters.
A.L Winter: Besides binge watching, writing, and sleeping, I do have a wide range of hobbies. I love t play volleyball (been playing it for almost a decade now), canoeing, painting, and bouldering. One thing I hate to death are sharks, they just scare me to death every time I see a picture of one. A strength of mine would have to be my determination while a weakness would be my laziness. I just got a puppy two months ago and a dream I've always had is to go to space. Another dream that is close to be coming true is heading to college for Chemical Engineering (a huge passion of mine).

pt2: How many hours a day do you write?
A.L Winter: It really depends how many hours a day I write. I know with how many people vote and comment as well as read my stories mean I at least need to have one update a day if possible. But it really differs depending on the time of day or if I've got some crazy idea. Sometimes I can get a chapter done in ten minutes and sometimes I work for three hours and get a new book out and multiple chapters for other books done and waiting to be published.
5. What made you want to become a writer? Does writing energize or exhaust you?why?
A.L Winter: What made me want to become a writer is really a hard question. I would say because of that game I would play with my friends, we would create stories and share them with one another. I think that led me into writing now, how I saw it as a chance to create things I've never been able to before. Writing energizes me more than anything, sometimes when I finish writing a chapter I can't wait to publish it because I know people will love it.
pt2: Have you ever gotten reader's block?
A.L Winter: I've hardly ever gotten writers block. When I come out with a new idea I already plan in my head what will happen and how it will end.
6. What,How,why did you join wattpad? What do you think makes a good story?
A.L Winter: I joined wattpad a while back when on vacation with my family. Due to the limit of weight for your luggage at airports you can't take many books. When I was on the AppStore, I found wattpad and gave it a go. To me, a good story means a well-rounded character, thought-through plot, some good grammar where names are capitalized and new words of the sentence capitalized as well, not too complex where I have no idea what I'm readying, and NOT cliche.
pt2: What is your writing style? Do you try more to be original or to deliver to readers what they want?
A.L Winter: o me, my writing is style is just a reflection of me really. I try to be original and really try to, sometimes I do take topics most writers use, but I put my own spin on it.
7. How do you find or make time to write? How do you think you've evolved creatively?
A.L Winter: I find time to write really when I want to. Mainly it's in the morning or at night that I write (when my ideas are in) and I'm constantly getting new story ideas every hour that I want to make into something more.
pt2: What are some of your weird writing habits/rituals? What about weird obsessions both literary and normal life?
A.L Winter: Weird writing habits or rituals for me would be listening to sad or energetic music as I eat.
8. How has writing changed you ? If you could write about anyone fiction/nonfiction who would you write about?
A.L Winter: Writing has changed me in so many ways really. Not only do I see papers in school improving, but it's helped me developed a higher creativity level. I love fiction better, just because I get to create things and no one can say 'that didn't happen' or 'that's not real.' I can express magic and supernatural elements as I create a fictional world that I'd love to be part of.

pt2: What would the main characters of your book say about you?
A.L Winter: The main character would pretty much say I am a fan on no happily ever afters. They would say I'm in for making their life miserable yet I do deliver happy moments in their life.
9. What is your favorite part of all your books? Do you think someone could be a writer if they don't feel emotions strongly? why?
A.L Winter: My favorite parts of my books would be the ending. I have every ending done in my head for every book I have out or want to put out. To me, you need to understand emotions enough to be able to put them into your works. What makes a good writer is to be able to express things and make the reader feel for your characters, to even hate or love them.
pt2: What other authors are you friends with, and how do they help you become a better writer?
A.L Winter: really don't have any writer friends. I'm not the biggest on contacting people, but I've always wanted to have a few writer friends that I can get ideas out with and opinions given.
10. Do you have any hidden or uncommon talents? Do you believe in werewolves? if yes how would they be in real life?
A.L Winter: n uncommon talent of mine would probably be me able to stick my fist in my mouth.....that would be it really. No, I don't believe in werewolves, but I do wish they could exist. 11. If you were running the 100 yard dash with a new writer. What writing, publishing wisdom would you bestow upon him/her before you reached the 100 yards? A.L Winter: I would tell them to do what they feel best doing. That they should never worry about what people will think because it matters that you enjoyed it and you accomplished writing something. pt2: What authors did you dislike at first but grew into? What is the first book that made you cry? A.L Winter: Authors that I disliked but grew into I really don't know. I know I've liked many authors over the years but have never had it where I dislike and then like them. The first book I cried at the ending would be the end of the Harry Potter series because I knew that was the end of it. 12. What makes a really good description? Does cover matter? Why and why not? What factors do you need in a book to start reading it and why? pt2: What makes you vote and comment on a story and why?A.L Winter: A good description is something that gives enough of the plot to keep you wondering what is this book, to be vague enough for them to want to see what it is about. To me, a cover can matter. Because these are all new books on wattpad, it's not like a very famous book or series that you know by name right off the bat and know it will be good. A cover attracts people, but many times I've clicked on a average one and loved the book. Factors I need are things I enjoy reading about. What makes me comment would be something shocking or a joke I got. What makes me vote is if I truly enjoyed the chapter. 13. What is your favourite movie,tv show, quote, color, book, food, clothing, accessories, actor, actresses, villain, hero, dessert, song, artist, sport, subject, genre, pet, city, country etc.A.L Winter: My favorite movie would have to be either Inception or While You Were Sleeping. My favorite TV show would be either Supernatural or Downton Abby, my favorite quote would be from Frankenstein when he creates the monster and expresses how knowledge is a curse (very long quote). My favorite book is Jurassic Park, food would be a good hamburger, and clothing would be some track shorts. My favorite accessory would be my ring, actor would be David Tennent, actress would be Maggie Smith, villain would be Maleficent, hero would be Hercules, dessert would be apple pie, song would be Time Machine by Ingrid Michelson, artist would be Lindsey Stirling, sport would be volleyball or rugby, subject would be chemistry or math, genre would be alternative or classical, I've always wanted a cat (though allergic), city would be Seattle, and country would be New Zealand. 14. Do you write more by logic or intuition, or some combination of the two? Summarize your writing process.A.L Winter: I think I write both. I'm a very logic oriented person but sometimes when writing I go by intuition. When I right, I just write. It's on a whim that I just type away and let my mind take me places as the story progresses. It's my little bubble. pt2: What does your typical writing day looks like ? The longest you have written?A.L Winter: My typical day looks like school, eat, volleyball practice, homework, and then catch up with people and social media along with wattpad. The longest I've ever written would have to be five hours. 15. What character in your book are you least likely to get along with? Of all the characters you have created, which is your favorite and why?A.L Winter: A character in my book I'd be least likely to get along with would be Lily from 'Nixon' just because right now she's so insecure and scared (though I have plans for her). My favorite character would be Zion from 'Zion' just because he intrigued me and his mind is a puzzle of confusion. pt2: What is the easiest and hardest thing for you in writing ?A.L Winter: The easiest for me in writing is just to write and make a description while the hardest is to create a relationship of love. 16. Do your characters seem to hijack the story or do you feel like you have the reigns of the story? why?A.L Winter: I feel like I have the reigns of the story but sometimes they can hijack and I'll go off just because I feel like it's the character's raw character just to do this type of thing. 17. If you could spend time a character from your book who that would it be? And what would you do during that day? What kind of research do you do?A.L Winter: I could spend time with someone from a book it would have to be Soka from 'The Mirror' just because she's a magic being whose wise and old beyond centuries and seems pretty cool, plus, I intend to show readers later on how powerful she truly is. We would most like spend the day with her teaching me to make potions and poisons for my enemies and even crushes (got o love those love potions)! pt2: Million dollar question, are you working on another book?!!!!!!!!!!! details!!!A.L Winter: I am working on another book, this one will be titled 'Max.' However, I have (I believe) twelve books out right now and I hope to see which ones I cancel and which ones I unpublished and redo. Max is a werewolf novel about some pretty interesting people. It's in the beginning of it's life and I hope to reveal more to people soon about the mysterious and sexy as hell Max. 18. If you could have been the author of any book ever written, which book would you choose?why?A.L Winter: . If I could be the author of any other book it would be Frankenstein by Mary Shelly. What would I change? To me, the book is beautiful written, but to change it, I would want more science explained by Dr. Victor Frankenstein on how he made his monster. pt2: If you could be in any book world? which one would it be and why? How would the story change?A.L Winter: If I could be in any book world it would be either Harry Potter just because I could go to Hogwarts and be the Slytherin I am, or I would be part of my own world and possibly be a warrior of a pack.19. What is the most difficult part of your artistic process? What book that you have read has most influenced your life?A.L Winter: The most difficult part of my process would be the end of a chapter. It would be hard for me to think if people will enjoy and support me with the new update. I would have to say a book I've read that has really influenced my life would be 'The Martian' back years ago because it made me look into the mathy side of the world and even more fall in love. pt2: Who is your favorite author?A.L Winter: My favorite author is Michael Chriton, author or Jurassic Park and many other great novels. 20. What is the most amusing thing that has ever happened to you?A.L Winter: The most amusing thing that has happened to me would have to be when I blasted the heater in 110 degree Fahrenheit in a car of guys and left them in there until they discovered what I had done. pt2: Did you learn anything from writing your books and what was it?A.L Winter: I didn't learn too much while writing books except that I have a creative mind and would love it if the things I write about were real. I've learned the hard work of writing too, how it takes a process and effort to give to the world a book you created and owe so much to.
