"Be safe and remember you have a boyfriend and daughter to come back to."
I rolled my eyes at Zion. He do this shit every time we decide to go out.
"Zion seriously, You act like I would let something bad happen." I said to Zion.
"Tempestt the reason I'm having this talk with her is because she's going with you. If she was going with anyone else I wouldn't care."
I scrunched up my face. What's wrong with me?
"Uhm. What's wrong with me?" I asked.
"You're a hoe." He blatantly said.
"Uhm no I'm not."
"Remember that time you left her to go have sex in the bathroom with some stranger?"
I gasped. He did not just expose me like that. Especially in front of Kingston.
"First of all Zion. That "stranger" was a rapper. And I got us in his section that night so don't ever judge my hoeness." I said defending myself.
I could see Kingston raising his eyebrow and giving me a strange look.
"But. I don't do that anymore. I was in a very dark space at that time of my life."
Thank god I'm good at saving face. He was probably questioning me and my morals. I really was going through it at that time though. Sex and alcohol was a great outlet for me. Drunk sex is the best.
"Our Uber is here. Let's go." I grabbed Tokyo's hand and ran outside before Zion could say something to us.
Me and Tokyo have been clubbed for hours. We were moving from club to club because we get bored in one place for too long. While Tokyo was dancing her unrhythmic life away, I was thinking about being at home cuddled up with Kingston.

Bitch, what the fuck. Yea, no. This is not okay.
"Let's go get a drink." I grabbed Tokyo.

"Bitch. You know. You're my best bitch and I really love yo ass." Tokyo slurred while leaning on my shoulder.
I nodded and continued eating my hot dog. We were both drunk and out of our minds. We were supposed to have one drink but then one turned into five and then a whole bottle of cognac. After getting kicked out of the club for being "too drunk" we walked around doing hoodrat shit. We got on some motorcycles with some very sexy men. Stole a donut from a gas station and even was a part of someone's music video. Now we're sitting outside some gas station eating hot dogs and drinking a big ass slushy.
Life is good.
"Let's get matching tattoos." I suggested.
"Oh my gosh yesss." She said.
I called an Uber after calling the tattoo place where I got my first one. The car ride there we thought about what we wanted.
"Let's do Buttercup and Bubbles because we consider each other sisters." Tokyo said.
"I like that. I want Buttercup tho. She's a badass. Like me." I said.
"That's cool. I wanted Bubbles anyway."
Tokyo and I looked at our tattoos. They were really nice. We both got them on our right arm close to our wrist.
"These are cute." I said.
"Yea. But how are we gonna pay?"
I looked at her and sighed. I wrapped my hair in a ponytail and took my jewelry off.
"I'll be back."

Recruit - An Infinite Labyrinth prequel
A prequel to The Infinite Labyrinth. The year is 1816. The British Empire is in full swing, under the auspices of King George III. The Infinite Labyrinth has been pouring out its product from beyond our reality and fostered a new industrial revolution. Times are changing, and the people of London are feeling the winds of the revolution while British Professionals push into the Labyrinth. The newly formed Artefact Hunting Company is looking for recruits, and they have new technology to help them. From the slums of London, they aim to recruit a new wave of Professionals. And make Zacharias and the Earl of Carnavon lots of money. So, for Rowan Rivers and a handful of lucky ones, it's time to head into the Labyrinth, and discover what makes it different from England. And what makes THEM different? Recruit is a bunch of chapters I wrote to create to the setting, mood, and game systems of the Infinite Labyrinth. It is NOT a complete story in the classic sense. It's more of a slice of life view of early days of a normal Professional from the Infinite Labyrinth, and it's heavy on info-dump. It's 90% canon - there's probably a bit of a difference between how some characters and common behaviour are portrayed here and how they'll come out in the main story. Set two years before the events that kick-start the main series, it features some of the secondary/peripheral characters of the Infinite Labyrinth and will tell you all about the basic mechanics of the Labyrinth's RPG system. It can be considered a spoiler, as the characters in the Infinite Labyrinth are going to need to figure out all that, on their own. But if you like a much deeper exposition in the mechanics, here it is. The entire prequel is about 80 pages long.

Evading his enemies, he flees into one of the few places even gods will never enter, a rip in the fabric of space and time. with his body destroyed, his soul persists through the whole endeavor only to be reborn as..... something a little different.... ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hi everyone! As a first time writer, I'd love some constructive criticism as well as general comments about my work as a whole. This story is something I've been kind of thinking about for the better part of a few months and I actually got anxious enough to attempt to put it in writing. Releases may be sporadic as I'm currently in school, and chapter lengths will vary depending on how much I feel i need to write to get my point across. The tags are temporary and may change. I plan on using a cultivation/mana system as this will be somewhat of a crossover
