《Sweet Child of Chaos》The Pet

Qetsiyah looked between the duo with frighten, she couldn't actually leave neither get far from them as well, considering how Kisa had put a leather strap on her, which belonged to Maverick of course.
Kisa didn't trust the witch, so in order for her to not leave as soon as they got in the prison world, locking away Kisa with Kai in it, the vampire had decided to walk with her new pet close.
The ancient witch knew who the siphoner was, obviously, she had heard whispers of him when she was in her purgatory, the gemini witch without magic, who was treated as an abomination and sent to the prison world.
Qetsiyah was not surprised, siphoners were constantly viewed as a threat because of their capacity of withholding wide amount of powers.
The witches and travelers often feared them and because of that, the siphoner kind became almost instinct, rarely happening in a coven or another and being tortured and killed.
Bless the poor children.
She understood his motives behind his attempt of family massacre, Qetsiyah wouldn't judge when she, herself, had condemned two souls to eternal damnation because of a betrayal.
She would probably do the same as him.
That didn't lessen her fears, obviously, while she understood the siphoner, she knew just as well he could and would kill her if she did so as much as look at him with the wrong face.
That is if the vampire didn't get to her first.
Qetsiyah thought as she spared a glance at Kisa, who was grinning like a mad woman as she vamp sped towards her best friend, seeming to forget that she was still holding on the leash, making Qetsiyah's body fly towards the wall as the vampire hugged the siphoner giggling.
Kisa exclaimed as she hugged Kai tightly, who was laughing loudly as he gripped just as tightly onto her, afraid that she would disappear if he let go.

Kai mumbled on her shoulder, closing his eyes tightly as he unconsciously siphoned from her.
Qetsiyah looked at the best friends in awe, wondering if it was the effects of the concussion she had probably received, or if they were actually glowing red.
She had never been siphoned before, but from what she heard it was supposed to be incredibly painful for the one in the giving end.
From her spot on the ground, Kisa didn't seem to be hurt, if anything, she just held tighter on the man as her vampire magic formed a comforting cloak almost looked like it was protecting him.
Then she pulled on his ear.
Qetsiyah blinked as Kai yelped in pain.
Letting go of his ear with a smirk, Kisa finally seemed to notice that Qetsiyah had had a trip to the wall because of her sudden move, making her cackle loudly as she skipped to the witch, helping her up.
Kai whined as he held on his bright red ear, glaring at his best friend before he turned to look at the unknown woman.
His face was emotionless as he looked down at her, making Kisa count.
One...
Two...
Kai asked with a grin as he rocked back and forth on his heels, with his arms crossed behind his back.
The witch scowled, sending him flying towards a wall with a raise of her eyebrows, which only got him laughing loudly as he stood up.
Kisa threatened as she looked down at the witch, her face suddenly stoic, much different from her usual easy going smile.
Qetsiyah paled at her words, looking down at her lap as Kai smirked, walking over to Kisa as he threw his arm over her shoulder.
Kai added darkly, tilting his head as the witch started to choke, suddenly not being able to breath as he used the magic Kisa had shared with him.

His demon smirked as well, leaning against his side as she wrapped her arms around his waist, watching with amusement.
Kai blinked, making Qetsiyah gasp as she suddenly could breath again, before he looked at Kisa with a wide grin.
Kisa smiled softly, standing on her toes to be able to pat his head, due to him being way taller than her and he snorted.
Kisa started as she counted on her fingers, making Kai follow her counting as Qetsiyah simply sighed, performing the spell before Kisa could continue with her black book.
Kai mumbled as he held onto Kisa, still dizzy from the sudden spell.
Qetsiyah told them with an annoyed face, gaining mischievous grins from the friends.
Qetsiyah questioned as she ignored Kai's comment.
The vampire nodded, passing three tubs of blood, from Katerina, Amara and herself, so Qetsiyah could perform the spell to make Bonnie the new anchor.
Qetsiyah turned around, ready to leave, before Kisa tugged her back on the leash with a smirk, making the witch give her an annoyed look as she looked at her over her shoulder.
An eyebrow instantly shot up in surprise, but the witch found herself nodding, before Kisa continued
Qetsiyah groaned as the friends laughed at her red face, quickly returning so Kisa could take off the leather from her neck, before she left.
The duo waited for her disappear before Kisa turned to look at Kai, who was fidgeting as he looked at his feet.
His voice was low, dangerous, his eyes turning pitch black as he looked at the faint scars that now painted her body.
Kisa told him softly, caressing the back of his palm with her thumb in order to calm him down.
A dangerous glint crossed her face and she continued

The Tears of Kas̆dael
It was just supposed to be a game. A really, really great game, yes - but a game. Instead, Jasper got his heart ripped out by a brooding goddess and awoke to find himself in another world. No weapons, no skills. Naked. Trapped in a world full of ancient horrors, where gods and monsters still roam the earth, Jasper is forced to adapt quickly or die - and he's not ready to die. Good thing he's a mage. This is a high-fantasy novel with light LitRPG elements. It's not super-crunchy, but the system is an important part of the story. There is some light cursing and gore, but this is not a Grimdark novel. There will also be no harem. The current schedule is chapters on M-W-F of around 2000-2500 words, as well as occasional bonus chapters that provide background or insights into side characters. This is my first real attempt at writing a full novel, but the story is based on a world that I've been creating and re-creating since I was a child. I have an extensive "history" and religion, and even a semi-cohesive language system worked out, which will hopefully slowly shine through as the story progresses. I want to avoid having too many info-dumps, so I may from time to time post a bonus lore chapter that will explain some of the background for any who are interested.
