"Michael," Miss Gables called, causing most of the group to stop whatever they were doing and look at us. She walked, well more like stormed, over to him while I had stayed back. "She-," she began, gesturing towards me "-hasn't eaten anything."

People gave me curious glances and started to murmur random things about me. I was sure that they were probably judging by my appearance and not knowing me, like most everyone did.

"Is that her?" one person asked, silently while I passed by them. "Is that supposed to be our Director?"

"She's so ugly," another person whispered. "Where did she buy those clothes? The Dump?" A couple of giggles sounded through the room.

I gritted my teeth and felt a flash of anger. I felt Cody move closer to me, probably trying to get me to move on and not comment on what they were saying. I felt his cold nose on my clenched fist and opened it, not realizing that I had clenched it.

"I heard that she's a half breed," another person spat. "Stupid Half Breeds don't know how to do magic or control it. Fifty bucks that she'll only last a day with the Full Breeds."

"ENOUGH!" Michael roared, probably hearing the last one. He looked around, his dark brown eyes holding some fire in them. Anger was coming off of him in waves, and I blinked when I saw that some people were cowering away from him. "Does anyone have the guts to say it to her face and not her back?" he snarled. "Who is making this bet?"

"Mich-"

"I am," someone said, interrupting me. The person looked exactly like Reece, except for the fact that he had blonde hair and green eyes. However, he had the same built, and I was sure that he had the same last name. And, I was definitely sure that they shared the same "hobby" of "loving"girls.

"Pa-"

"Reece," I called out, interrupting Michael. I ignored the glare that Michael sent me, while I folded my arms across my chest and waited. I was surprised that I wasn't affected by his glare, then again I had grown up with someone that would glare at me, even if I hadn't done a thing.

"Yes, Sexy Lady?" Reece asked, coming to stand next his brother/cousin along with Luke. He was shirtless, and I was not going to look at Luke, because I was sure that he was shirtless as well. He wiggled his eyebrows, causing me to roll my eyes, knowing that he was going to say something inappropriate. "You going to let me do some dirty things?"

"Ya, do the dirty dishes," I replied, scoffing. I gestured towards his "twin". "Tell your brother, or cousin, what had happened when you got on my bad side." I tapped my chin. "Say, around lunch today."

Reece's face started to pale and he gulped. "Uh..." he said, going speechless.

"Wow, I've never seen Reece go speechless," a female said, at my side. I couldn't help but grin when I saw that it was Cami. "But, do go on and tell your cousin what had happened." She smiled when she saw that I had shot her a 'thank you' look.

"Um... well..." He rubbed the back of his neck and cleared his throat. "Look, Cous, you know that I'm not scared of a lot of things, right..?" he asked, sounding rather nervous. "I sort of, made Joes pissed, and those eyes." He shuddered, causing Cami to snicker. "They were light green and held so much power in them. When I had went into our spot, I saw her making a huge ball of fire, and... shealmostthrewitatme."

I smirked when Reece's cousin just stared at him, blankly. "In other words," I said, causing him to turn his attention back on me. "Do not get me pissed, or think lowly of me." My voice carried, causing some people to flinch from the power. "I have survived the worst, and if anyone wants to be on my bad side, then be my guest. Knuckle sandwiches are free." I smirked, and I could feel Cami back away from me. "And, if anyone seems to have a problem with me and that I'm a half breed, then step forward." I gestured into the spot where Reece, his cousin, and Luke stood. "We can see what you think of me after I have... given you all a lesson."

What are you getting at? Voice asked, warily while Reece and Luke took a step back while some moved in their place. Don't use any magic yet.

I hid an eye roll before counting fourteen people that were in front of me. I wasn't going to use any magic. Just some fists.

"What are you getting at, Joes?" Michael warned. "Why did you make them line up?"

"Well, a fight, of course," I said, not moving my vision from them. "One-on-one combat with no powers. I mean, they don't see me as the Director, so shouldn't they be put in their place?"

"But fourteen?" Michael asked, warily. "You haven't eaten since.."

I grimaced, trying to think of the last time that I had eaten. "Lunch yesterday," I replied. "But that doesn't matter. What matters is getting respect and not being looked at as if I'm some sort of stupid thing that should be ignored. I mean we all have to face the same enemy, and at the end of the day, we lose people hat we care about." I rubbed the back of my neck and looked at the faces, recognizing some from yesterday. "And, I really do not want to go through my past, again."

"You could always tell what had happened with me, than fighting," someone said, his German accent getting the better of him.

I rolled my eyes and looked behind me to see that Randolph was behind me. "Nein (No)," I said. "Ich werde ihnen nicht sagen. (I won't tell them.)" I turned back towards the fourteen, ignoring the questioning looks that Cody was giving me. "Ich werde kämpfen (I will fight.)"

Randolph studied and made a humming sound in his throat. "Gut (All right,)" he approved, nodding his head. He looked at Michael. "By all means, let her fight. If she gets hurt, it will not be the worse pain that she will feel."

"Really feel the encouragement," I said, sarcastically, causing Luke to snort and shake his head. "What? You want a go at it, Jacobs?" I asked, looking at him. I didn't look at his shirtless body, knowing full well that I would probably start to drool.

Luke scrunched his face in pain and shook his head. "Last time we fought, and you were acting like this, we had to go to the hospital because you stuck a stick up my butt and tried to get me to speak Spanish."

Cami snickered, and I knew that the adults were giving me disbelieving looks. "What can I say?" I asked, a smile playing at the edge of my lips. "You shouldn't have taunted me by saying that guys were better than girls."

"But a stick?"

"Hey, be glad that I didn't cu-"

"Enough," Michael said, cutting off our bickering. "We'll set up the arena for you to fight. Is there anyone that you want to be your Second if you get too hurt to continue?"

I shook my head, not really wanting to get someone else to face others. I didn't know how many that I would be able to fight before I crash. "No, I think I am good," I replied. "Don't know how many I can get through, so I don't want someone else to fight the rest."

Michael studied me before nodding. "Who would you like to fight first?"

I stared at the blonde in front of me and smirked. "Blondie," I replied, probably sealing mine and his fate.

A/N: Well, I guess we have a fight going on in our hands. Who thinks that Joes will get through with all the fourteen? Will Luke actually help her, even if he isn't allowed?
