School lasted longer than it normally did, or it felt like that it did to me. However, when the bell rang to release us from last period, I knew that I wouldn't be able to get out of school. The reason why I couldn't get out of the school, was because I had detention with Ms. Gables, and we weren't allowed to leave with the other students. I couldn't help but dread to be in the same room with her by ourselves, because I didn't know what would happen to me or to her, if she pushes the right buttons and makes me mad.
Let's just put it this way... teacher hates student, and student hates teacher, with a passion might I add. Put them together, alone, for two hours, and it can be safe to say that one of us would leave with a scar of some sort.
"Hey, Joes," someone said, coming to my side. There was a nudge on my shoulder, which broke me from my thoughts about Ms. Gables and how I was to be in there alone with the she-devil herself. "Where are you headed to?"
I glanced at my side to see that it was Cami, happy as ever, with a smile that could light up the whole world, if she was really happy. "Ms. Gables, for detention," I replied with a grimace on my face. I rolled my eyes and shook my head, not liking it one bit.
Cami frowned, probably knowing about our "relationship". I was sure that she did know about it, since she was apart of the group, and they probably had a long discussion about me. "Are you going to hurt her?" she asked slowly, not wanting to make me mad.
I shrugged my shoulder and grimaced, not knowing if I was going to or not. "Probably, if she's more of a pain in the ass than usual." I paused and glanced at her to see the way that she was dressed in a pair of leggings and a tight shirt. "Where are you headed to?" I couldn't help but change the subject, hoping that she would follow my lead.

"Training," she replied, probably knowing that I didn't want to talk about the detention with Ms. Gables. "I have to run over there every day, because he makes me." She gave me a look, wondering if I knew what she meant by that. "You do know where and who I'm talking about, right?"
I glanced at her out of the corner of my eye and couldn't help but smirk. I knew that she was trying to treat me as if I was some sort of little kid, but I wasn't going to give her the satisfaction that she could treat me as one.
So, I did the most logical thing that I could think of, and that was by playing dumb. Sure, I knew where and who Cami was talking about, since I had been there yesterday and I had met the person, yesterday, also. However, she didn't need to know that piece of information at this time.
I frowned and cocked my head, trying to make it look like that I didnt know where we were supposed to be going or who we were supposed to be meeting. "Uh..." I began but stopped, still thinking about. I furrowed my eyebrows, making it look like that I was thinking really hard. "I'm thinking we are to meet at the hair salon, on Barnabee's Way and see Freddie?"
"No!" Cami exclaimed, shaking her head. "When did the we ever meet at that hair salon, and who the hell is Freddie?" She huffed and shook her head again, her brown curls bouncing. "Why do we have a stupid person to lead us?" she muttered, not too quietly. Her eyes went wide, when she realized that she had said it out loud.
I faked a look of hurt and gasped, putting my hand over my mouth in that 'oh dear' sort of fashion. "Well, excuse me for being kind of confused on where and who we are to meet," I replied, sarcasm dripping from my voice. "I've only been there once, and I have a lot on my plate." I couldn't help but huff and roll my eyes, showing my annoyance that way.

"She knows where we are going to go and practice everything that we need to deal with, Cami," someone said behind me. "She also knows who we are supposed to be meeting." His voice was soft, and I could tell that there was a small smile in it, while the person looked at me fondly. "She is just playing with you."
A small shiver went down my spine before I turned around to see that it was Luke behind us. My heart started to pound slightly, and I was sure that he could hear it. I didn't know what was wrong with me, but I knew that I had fallen completely head over heels for this male in front of me.
Did I know if he was into me just as much as I was into him? Well, no. Was I going to say something? No. It was the male's job to ask the female out, not the other way around. Wasn't it?
"Ow!" I exclaimed, feeling someone smack me on the arm, hard. I glared at the female before me, who was trying so hard not to laugh. My lips quivered a little, while I tried to keep the mean look in place. "What the hell was that for?"
"You weren't paying attention," Cami replied. She glanced at Luke before giving me a knowing smirk. "Was it because of a certain someone?" She wiggled her eyebrows, causing my face to turn a bit red.
"Maybe," I muttered. My face started to turn a darker red before I cleared my throat. "I-I have to go. I don't want an extra hour with Ms. Gables alone." With that, I turned around and bolted to Ms. Gables room, glad that he wasn't going to be in detention with Ms. Gables and I.

A/N: Well, how do you like Cami? Do you think that Cami will become really, really, really great friends with Joes? When do you think that Joes and/or Luke will tell the other that they are really in love with them? What do you think will happen next?
